  • Dååth releases new single, covering Morbid Angel's "Where The Slime Live" ft. a guest solo from Dave Davidson of Revocation.
Guitarist Eyal Levi: "It's funny to say this because ‘Where The Slime Live’ is a total classic, but I've been feeling like people have not been giving Trey and co their due for the massive impact they've had on the evolution of metal. Not that our version of this song is going to change the world, but if any Morbid Angel song deserves the modern treatment, it's this one. Everything about it more than holds up and showcasing it in this fashion really illuminates how ahead of their time they were. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed learning and interpreting this BANGER of a song!"
Dave Davidson: "’Where The Slime Live’ is one of my favorite Morbid tunes so I was stoked to be asked to lay down a solo for this killer cover. Trey has a very unique style so it was a cool challenge to tap into his vibe and let the lava flow so to speak. Hope y’all dig it!"

This is probably THE song I attribute to getting me into extreme metal. My uncle let me choose a song on his iPod and I saw the art thought the band and track name were cool and clicked it. Turned my ass into a metal head for life with that opening. This is an INCREDIBLE cover. I knew this would be amazing and it is.

As expected, Krimh absolutely nailed the drum parts on this one!

  • @brothercartman

I wouldn't mind a cover of the entire Domination album by these guys. This is sick as fuck.

  • @Emann-yc7cv

I love how they even put a flange effect on the vocals like the original.

Oh! You feel it down your spine. 🤘

This album came out on my literal birthday, May 9th 1995. I was destined to love extreme metal 😈🤘

The riffs in this song are among the best. The band modernizes them in a flavorful way. I’ll definitely check out this album. They were always cool, but this is something else.

I love the effects on these vocals, reminds me of pitchshifting in Goregrind but these riffs are so slow & crunchy I love it. Pinch harmonics with these evil riffs ugh, so good. Thank you for the upload :))

My favorite morbid angel song \m/ . Back before singles and we bought albums based on the art work.

  • @TeethChewer
