Crazy MOFO yes. for sure. even I do own it. It will not disappoint you in any of the rpm. maybe it had to sacrifice on it's top end.. though 135+ is a better number.
I did 143 on mine just the previous day on my way till NH2. Trust me till 135 it will go smoothly enough if you are riding single

you just nailed it bro too good comparison, they are unique in their own way
I am owner of fz25 (white) , quite happy and disappointed at the same time,
cons-
- lack of 6th gear
- headlight illumination
- lack of gear indicator
- top speed (135 in my case till now)
pros
- price obviously
- acceleration (take a test drive and you will feel it)
- looks ( look it in real, not images and video on net then you will know)
- fuel tank
overall, between 0-100 kmph this one kills, not made for top speed, looks are quite good but some graphics and different colours combination would have made it a much better, performance depends on the rider how he pulls off from this machine,
beginners will love it and experienced one will feel the difference,
believe me, in city condition no bike can beat this, acceleration, flexibility, breaks etc. , not a beast but not a toy as well ,
for this price segment this bike justify it's position
don't compare it with Duke ( 30k more for 200 and 50k for 250) and you want same performance,
and ns200 (we all know the build quality and brand)
to be honest only rtr200 gives it a competition
before buying it, have some 3-4 options, go for a test drive of each and then decide, mostly you will end up buying this one or RTR if you have budget of Less than 1.4 lacs
if you don't have budget problem then definitely go for KTM
just 2 or 3 things would have made it a killer and beast that no one could have defeated 😀

well said dude. as an owner of fz 25 i wanna point out one disadvantage of my bike. in rainy season it through mud like hell on pillion . its an annoying issue i think because everytime i went for a ride on rainy day i have to clean my bagpack too

Does the FZ25 vibrante (seat, handlebars, fuel rank ) after 7000 RPM?. This is the main factor to decide between this bike or the Duke 200.

Proud owner of my Yamaha Fz25... did 3rd servicing still runs buttery smooth.. didn't give a single problem till now.. milage is great max 42 and min 38... depending on the style of riding.
