    This was an amazing video! I agree your hair looks thicker and curls tighter. The strand comparison was very awesome! Also you made the process look fun to try, I love DIY so I'm going to try this.. I haven't used a gloss bar yet since most versions you can buy have Shea butter in it and I don't want to put that in my microlocs.

    • @ZarinaPatricia
      @ZarinaPatricia  Рік тому +1

      @erickacane hey girl thanks for watching 😌 I melt them by putting hot water in a bowl then add the gloss bar to another container (double broil method) then add as much conditioner as you need, then apply! I hope that helps, but I have another video that explains it in better detail 💙

    This recipe uses H2O (the aloe vera juice, fenugreek seed tea+ conditioner). I'd strongly suggest adding a preservative (e.g. optiphen, germall+ ,etc) OR omit the water containing ingredients to make the bar. Melt the bar & add them right before applying to the hair.

      You can freeze it without preservative

      The point of this recipe is to avoid adding any chemicals, sure you can add it if you’d like, this is my way of making it 😌

    Also, (just a tip) the ingredients can be simplified, you can get away with few additions. You added great ingredients! gurl youve got quite a bit.

    Great recipe. Is there an alternative to coconut oil?

    • @ZarinaPatricia
      @ZarinaPatricia  3 роки тому +4

      Thank you, yeah you can use any carrier oil, like avocado or castor oil, I’d go for castor oil since it’s just mad moisturising 😌

    • @lamorenalista9188
      @lamorenalista9188 3 роки тому +7

      Babassu or Cupuaçu oils are penetrating like coconut. Cupuaçu oil attracts & holds water, which keeps dry hair moisturized.

    Amazing video. I have been trying to figure out what ayurvedic deep conditioning mask I should make and saw your recipe. CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE I CAN PURCHASE THE JAR And THE Shea Moisture 10 IN 1 (I can't seem to find it affordably priced.) I would love to make my masks in that type of jar.

    • @ZarinaPatricia
      @ZarinaPatricia  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you!!, I got the jar from IKEA, I live in the UK so I hope that’s of some use to you! I purchased the Shea moisture 10 in 1 from Amazon, they usually have it for a pretty affordable price 🥰

    What do you use to make it stay firm ? Won’t it melt away?? Did you put beeswax or soap base to make it this hard???

    • @ZarinaPatricia
      @ZarinaPatricia  3 роки тому +2
