His mother , as you can see , was nowhere near euipped to deal with him...

I would've thought their would be some agency to check on kids who didn't go to school. It wasn't clear from the story at what age he stopped going. Also, the mother must've had some mental illness. She did nothing to help her son. Lived among the squalor. How did she get any sleep with parties going on all the time. The story never said what kind of job she had. And no criminal charges against the mother. What kind of law do they practice in that state?

Sort of like a perverse Neverland. This follower said you could break things, hurt other people, walk around naked, even defecate openly on the living room carpet like an animal, and no one would stop you. In a couple documentaries I’ve watched about this monster, people loved to hang out at his house because there was always alcohol and/or drugs, and the other big draw was that nothing was off limits at the house. You could do anything you wanted in the house and demon boy wouldn’t say or do anything. If you wanted to pee in the corner of the living room, go for it. If you wanted to write on the walls, go for it. If you wanted to start a fire in the middle of the room, go for it as long as the fire didn’t get too big. If you wanted to have sex in front of everyone, go for it. I think you get the picture.

Ewan Cameron was Canada's famous MK Ultra funded doctor, the book (and movie) "The Sleep Room" is about him. The city where this all took place and where I live (Montreal) has endless interwoven people and stories resulting from that time. Various friends of mine have grandparents who were among his victims, and court cases have gone on for decades.
