If using g this on a large blanket it it easier to do it directly on the blanket or to make it like this and attach it to the blanket with a while stitch? Especially if you don't know how big the blanket is for the multiples to equal the correct amount for the border.
How many multiples do I need to make sure that I end up with the correct number by the time I get to the end? Also, how do I do the corners? This is so beautiful - thank you for sharing it.

Multiples of 7+8. For corners I would try to make 2-3 of these large shells in on loop (depends on what size of yarn you are using).
thank you thank you thank you!!

I love this border stitch. What is the initial count?
Can I use this to edge round placemat? If yes, any specific count of stitches ?
+jm2ube1 You will need to have multiple of 14 chains/stitches. It might work, although I never tried it. :)
does the pattern has a specific multiples? i wanna make a chain between 18-19 inch.

Hi :) please tell me what this stitch is called. It's wonderful! Tia :)
How can I get a pdf of the directions?
Rosemary Martin Honestly, I don't know. I don't have written instructions.
Can the count be decreased to get a smaller pattern? Thanks in advance
To be honest I believe it might change the outlook of the pattern, try using thin yarn and a crochet hook in a smaller size.
