    I usually choose to do short rows over the shoulders to avoid the steps, but this is a great way to follow the pattern and still avoid steps. THANKS !

    Have been knitting for 65 years. Always been annoyed by the staircase, especially when you have to insert a sleeve. The seam easily gets bumpy. Wow! Amazing. Thank you from 🇩🇰

    This couldn't come at a better time! I'm just about to start a neckline, and I always have a problem with stairs! Now I'm going to practice that on a swatch until I'm confortable, then apply to my WIP. Thank you so much.

      Es ist toll, Instruktionvideos auf fremde Sprache zu gucken, nicht verstehen und gleichzeitig (fast) alles verstehen 😀 Aber Häkelnvideos auf Koreanisch oder Portugiesisch sind ganz schwierig 😂

    you show this super clearly in this video. I sometimes use this approach and at other times I make decreases away from the edge (works only when decreasing by 1 st like for raglans). great video

    Oh, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 😘I have been knitting for about 50 years now and have ALWAYS been annoyed at the "staircase" that has become when you decrease the sleeves. It becomes so much more difficult to get a nice (invisible) seam when sewing together sleeves and front, back piece.😊

    Excellent result! What do you do when you no longer have stitches to bind off at either end, do you just knit (or purl) that last stitch without slipping it before you turn?

    Hi Norman, whenever I do this my slipped stitches get loose. How to fix this?

      hm....proobably because you stretch them out too much. Just let them sort of drop over on the other needle instead of inserting the right needle all the way in.
