I think your last two measures are incorrect rhythmwise. The left hand A & E should be two beats not one beat as you played.
Yes! You are correct! I played the next to the last measure as though it were eighth notes with a ritardando instead of quarter notes. Inaccurate rhythm on my part. Always room for improvement. Great attention to detail! Thanks for taking the time to comment. --Norma

What's the difference between An American Hymn and Shall We Gather at the River even though they're the same song?
Simply a different title. Same melody for both.

It takes a while to get used to quickly fitting in the 16ths between the 8th note pattern. --Norma
If you opening up my “Alfred’s” book, this very book, you would not see a single song that I did not change.
You should not be able to expect what comes up next in the song, but there should be a mental communication saying what has to come next, and if the song does not follow what your mind is saying the song should do, the song is bad. Everyone’s mind is going to tell the person the exact same thing but it is up to you to uncover it. Every song was supposed to be a certain way, and it is very sad that most people do not ever unlock what the song was meant to be.
