Rick Rescorla, Speaking of Courage

Rick Rescorla lived a life of heroism that culminated with the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
Born in Cornwall, England, Rescorla served in Cyprus as a British paratrooper and in Zambia as a member of the Rhodesian Police.
Still seeking adventure he emigrated to the United States and fought with the famed 1st Cavalry Division in the Ia Drang Valley. His battlefield exploits were legendary and Hal Moore called him the greatest battlefield commander he had ever seen.
On September 11, 2001 Rescorla proved that courage is not isolated to the battlefield as his heroics saved countless lives that tragic day.
