Can i ask what size screws as we have ours to do soon and it didn't come with any fittings for it, just the vent. Your video is super helpful and will be using it to follow when we do our.
    Cheers,
    Steff

Hey steff. I'm glad the video has been of some help. We also didn't get any screws with ours. I end up using the screws from my solar panel brackets because I was sent out about 10 sets by mistake. I'll add a link at the bottom to show the screws I used. But any external self drilling screws would be good. The size is roughly m5. I would highly recommend using the mastic sealing tape aswell. I've had a slight leak on one over this winter so I ripped it all out scraped everything back and added the mastic tape too. Simply pack out all the ridges and overlap all the corners making sure there's no gaps. Then when you screw the vent down it holds it solid and watertight. Top quality stuff and sticks awesome and wish I used it first time round. Hope this helps.

Hi, sorry about the late reply, I never had a notification. The clamp I used was from b&q and it's just a 90degree clamp. Hope this helps if you haven't already sorted it

Hey Morgan, thankyou I'm glad it may have been of some help to you. I'm sure I used 25 or 30mm batons. But to be more certain just double check the size of the gap when you put them together. With that gap you need to also also for any height variation from the roof and any materials you are fixing to the inside of the roof.
On top of my roof I had ridges to account for and then inside I have 4mm ply and tongue &groove to allow for.
      Hope this makes sense 🙂

Hi did you flatten the roof ridges or did you leave them. Also did it leak afterwards thanks

Hey Kameron, originally I didn't flatten the ridges and I filled them out with sikaflex. However I noticed a few weeks back I had a very slight leak, so I decided to take it out. I cleaned and scraped everything back and then filled in the ridges with w4 mastic sealing strip. I used the sealing strip on the back one but on the front one I was too impatient to wait for it to be delivered and used sikaflex. It's certainly worth using. Simply pack out the ridges and then once level with top of the ridge I added a few lengths all the way around overlapping each other everywhere to ensure no gaps. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply bud. I’ve got another question if you don’t mind. I’ve got zero ideas on how to power an electric shower to run of a lithium battery. Do you have any suggestions bud. Nice video bud.

@@kameronmaclean678 hey Kameron, unfortunately we didn't add a full shower into ours, I decided to go for the cheaper option of a 12v shower to see how much use it would get. So I didn't do any research into showers and heated water etc. On next van we do this year, I'll be possibly going down the full shower route so I'll definitely need to be researching into it. Sorry I can't be of any help on that one bud
