Your ability to concentrate, and speak clearly and slow enough, that an old man from Kansas/USA can follow along is a very rare quality, and a attribute for a sleep deprived new father. I'm really digging the Ford crawler-(that's now on my Christmas list) I've been checking your site often, and anxiously awaiting your next video!
Hello James! Well thank you my friend.. after 5 years of doing these videos.. and reading comments - I have been able to incorporate a slow, methodical way of trying to answer questions in the film - before they are asked in the comment section. You are correct - being sleep deprived makes it more challenging - but definitely, i love the entire process.. Thanks for commenting!
Truth be known my friend.. the beast has been changed many many many times! Like the Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard.. there has been many trucks sacrificed for RC Adventures! :)
Just wait until the truck is done.. you will see why I stuck with the chrome ;) I know everyone has different tastes, but I always encourage folks to wait until they see the finished product. I have a surprise coming.. that no one expects
I love this build!!! Thank you for showing those shocks. I watched some of your older videos and have seen them. I thought they were the MSR10 but wasn't 100% sure! Now time to put them on my Ridgecrest!!!
hey medic your job inspires me to keep going and have fun whith my rc thank for everithink you to all this years and please keep up the exelent job (i think that you and jem will be the perfect parents for your litle child)
That rig looks ace just got bashers SOOO! Want a trailer/crawler. But not got the pennies so watch yours instead matey! Top job eagerly await the running video!
Hey Medic, the Beast is sweet! You should put Wraith axles on the Beast and make it even more awesome! Search Wroncho, lots of people do that and I think it is pretty cool!
Damn you for teasing us with the tires at the end then cutting it short lol. As for the shocks i like them tho as for color i think red ones would look really good as they would match the gear box and the fake fuel tank at the rear. Great vid
I really want to get into scalers/ crawlers. Just no money! Solution: My 4+ year old Traxxas Rustler. Haha 2wd bad ass super rig. Great videos man, keep 'em comin!
looking good medic just as a suggestion you could put on some blue king off road piggy backs in the front to kinda go with the color theme but in the back those chromed shocks look really nice
3:26 "in fact if you listen there's no sound at all" wait, so we're listening for nothing yet nothing is something but something isn't nothing. THINGCEPTION
loving the truck all ready and the shocks are hard core would not change a thing hey and loving the ride hight if it dis have a high gravity witch it may can try and turn the trans side way so the motors on flat on the deck and not over the top as that will add to the tip if had them flat on the deck would help drop the tip point. loving your work hear in Australia keep it up mate
man im jealous at your skill doing this i want a nice rc but cant afford one saving for one but yea..... ive watched your channel from day 1 keep it up bro
Hey Medic , i've watched ALLOT of ur movies here on you-tube this weekend and i must say respect !!! I was like woahh look at that or friking cool but most of all i am so jalous whahahah . Again respect and keep up the good work . Greetz Ronnie
they are what help control how fast the shock actually moves. if u look close u can see at least one hole in the actual ring. that allows the oil to pass through. the more holes in the ring the less resistance that shock encounters while moving making it a faster moving shock.
I love the "BEAST" in fact the beast it the truck that got me hooked on rc and ur vids I cant wait for christmas cause i am asking for the scx10 jeep wrangler rtr and i wannna make it sorta like the beast
My son just got a brand new Axial scx10 jeep, and the instruction book has a section for water proofing, so I told my son to keep it out of the wet stuff until he water proofs it, he told me-(too late Dad)-I submarine it already, and it still works, but I think he just got lucky!
Hey there medic. If you take the stock axial wild bore drive shaft and add an HR 68mm or so threaded aluminum rod it fits perfect in to the male end of the drive shaft and those easily pretzeled drive shafts turn into a descent cheap alternative to aftermarket.
Hey medic, I love those shocks too, I use them with 2 springs inside, they work flawless this way, silver spring inside the can and the black one between the white pistons, hope you givi it a try.
you should you the rc4wd scale king shocks it would look ay more scale and keep the scale look of it already rather then those really big shocks. great video too always love your videos
Great work! Personally I dont like rear steer on anything this small... more issues then you gain... eh... just my preference ;) How's the wify and kidy doin? You must, just must do a video on the "family" for us to see and meet him. Thanks for all your work.
I love this truck being this tall!!! all it needs are some tractor treads for the ttc mud bog and it would dominate! and by the way its been a while since we have seen jem, has she had the baby yet!? if so I hope everything is going well. a fellow rc addict!
Heyy medic just something I wanted to tell people about I had lost a spring holder on the shock of my hpi mini recon and I took and old pen and used the end of it as new spring holder and it works great I just wanted to tell everyone and I love all ur vids
Sorry medic but I'm a fan of the King shocks they look more scale and the blue anodize would be awesome with your truck. But it's not about what I like I know. I totally agree that the plastic axles a all you need I love them.
ive seen pinky and the beast with the savox servo and im geting a axial scx10 honcho and i dont trust myself waterproofing so i go with good waterproof stuff and im pretty sure that this is the one so ill make a few videos on my build/upgrade so thanks bro ive learned a lot from u
i run a 15$ servo from Hobbypartz that is not quite as strong, but bit faster than the Savox..... submerges just fine and its MG + digital "exi d226f" have had at least 1 of these in several Rudeboyz TTCs now
My Godness Guy. You are crazy, but i like it. First i really was laughing how you Pronounce the German Word Gelände, hahahah. I am German and with your Videos, you infect me and i spent around 1200 Bucks for Amewi Crawler, similar to Gelände. Thank Guy and Continue i like it. Nice Greetings from Germany
would the axial wraith be a good choice as a beginner also? and what come waterproof on it out of the box? i have asked this question so many times but each time someone says something different. Please help medic!
Any chance the beast wants 2.2 rock crusher from rc4wd or any 2.2 for that matter but on the side looks like a little military logo so the rock croshers look like a military spec tire and would look sick
Any day is a Great DAY to RC!

I miss you big boy
Looking awesome, so far. :3
This is sorta showing you how good the marine grease works.
Awesome man
Hey medic, I love those shocks too, I use them with 2 springs inside, they work flawless this way, silver spring inside the can and the black one between the white pistons, hope you givi it a try.
I'm not usually a fan of Integy, but those shocks are great looking, let us know how they perform.
Maybe some anodized blue shocks to go with the color of the body :) btw I'm jealous of the tube frame setup :)
I need to get me a set of those shocks!
you should you the rc4wd scale king shocks it would look ay more scale and keep the scale look of it already rather then those really big shocks. great video too always love your videos
You should run the predator tracks but link them together so it like a tank. Thank would look epic. Or just save the idea for a different build.
Looking good :-)
looks good
Will look sweet with some 2.2'a
Great work!
Personally I dont like rear steer on anything this small... more issues then you gain... eh... just my preference ;)
How's the wify and kidy doin?
You must, just must do a video on the "family" for us to see and meet him.
Thanks for all your work.

Love how he had to cut the cage where the 2 motors r just to get them to fit
If you wanna lube up those spur and pinion teeth maybe try some motorcycle chain spray lube. Its designed to not attract dust and be water resistant.
I just like the video before watching it.
I like this up high with bib wheels.
i love the integy shocks i got for my stampede 4x4. I have nothing bad to say bout integy.
You could paint the outside of the shocks if you want them to be a different colour.
What's your favorite choice for a scale truck crawler for both mud and crawling?
Heyy medic just something I wanted to tell people about I had lost a spring holder on the shock of my hpi mini recon and I took and old pen and used the end of it as new spring holder and it works great I just wanted to tell everyone and I love all ur vids
sO ePIC!
GREAT JOB ;)
awesome
aweaome!!!

Tires have got to be RC4WD Mickey Thompsons, that's the only sticker he has on the side of the body!
Medic I will tell you now. you are drawing me nearer to the SCX10
I snapped both my drive shafts within the first 2 day of putting in my tekin 75t brushed motor
ive seen pinky and the beast with the savox servo and im geting a axial scx10 honcho and i dont trust myself waterproofing so i go with good waterproof stuff and im pretty sure that this is the one so ill make a few videos on my build/upgrade so thanks bro ive learned a lot from u
cody bischoff you don't really need a waterproof servo I've had my scx10 for nearly 9 years and I still have the stock servo
i run a 15$ servo from Hobbypartz that is not quite as strong, but bit faster than the Savox..... submerges just fine and its MG + digital "exi d226f" have had at least 1 of these in several Rudeboyz TTCs now

What bits are you using? I've been looking for a good set of 1/4" hex allen wrenches in sae and metric. Any ideas on some good ones?
would the axial wraith be a good choice as a beginner also? and what come waterproof on it out of the box? i have asked this question so many times but each time someone says something different. Please help medic!
Very nice video! Do axial products come waterproof? Or water resistant?
Nice
Cool
You should use tamiya suspension it is a oil and spring and very adjustable
Any chance the beast wants 2.2 rock crusher from rc4wd or any 2.2 for that matter but on the side looks like a little military logo so the rock croshers look like a military spec tire and would look sick
Hi very nice! Who made this truck body? Where is possible to find one?
Hey medic I have had cheap stock rc's and now I'm getting into customizing and trail riding any tips.
Is it going to have dual drift tires all around? That's about as far out as it can get!! :)
