Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:15-18) you cannot live for this world and not try to stop sinning (being cold) and only believing in God(hot) without turning from sin or sinning and saying God will forgive you after or not read the Bible, pray, worship/obeying God. Which is being a lukewarm. If we are neither cold or hot, God will spit us out his mouth.

    - moderation with food(healthy relationship with food)
    - weight yourself once a week but don’t get obsessed with it

Congratulations on your weight loss journey! And I want to congratulate anyone who's starting because that alone is a lot.
One of the biggest advice I could give to someone who wants to lose weight is to be ambitious but not TOO overly ambitious when you first start. Be realistic with yourself. If you are rarely active, don't set yourself up to run 3 miles a day or go to the gym everyday to do hardcore workouts. You will just mentally and physically exhaust yourself and you'll hate all the pain you're feeling and that may even stop you from pursuing a healthy life style. Instead, take walks! Try to aim for 5,000 steps a day then increase to 10,000. Eventually you'll slowly build up your stamina and then you can start jogging/running when you feel ready. Don't cut out all sugary/junk food immediately too because your body (and mind) will experience shock. Instead, slowly ease out of it and decrease your size and intakes. PLEASE don't immediately jump to eating salads or all the healthy food we see everybody eat when they wanna lose weight. That's something you can also ease into later. Just count your calories instead! As someone who was overweight, struggled years of trying to lose weight, and was very physically inactive, this advice of being ambitious but realistic helped a lot!

PREACH!!! 👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽 easing into a weightloss journey is the best motto to go by! Quitting everything cold Turkey will only make you cave sooner & pushing yourself to do more than your body can handle will not go well either. The scale number is not nearly as scary as the cholesterol number, the blood sugar number, the blood pressure number, and (in my case) the kidney number. I had high cholesterol, was pre-diabetic, and had an EGFR of 59.1. Now I have normal blood sugar, normal cholesterol and an EGFR of 84. I am sure most of you haven't even thought about your kidneys or possibly livers when it comes to weight. These things are likely not a concern must at all until you hit your 30s (maybe I'm wrong on that and it can hit earlier) but it happens from decades of bad life style choices. The scale is just the most easily tracked indication that your health is at risk. Amazon has glucometers for $25-30. If your blood sugar readings indicate prediabetes, you are already doing organ damage. Your doc might not even tell you until your diabetic. Over 80 percent of those with prediabetes don't even know they have it. Anyway, there are far worse number enemies out there I actually hate to say.

I felt this! I am also so hard on myself. I say i don’t “see it” but when I look at videos from a year ago, I don’t compare videos to what I look like now- but I see it. Just seeing how my face looks now versus last year. The problem is that we get in our heads a lot but best believe, if you’re putting in the work, deep down you see it. Sending lots of positive vibes! It’s not easy but so worth it! ♥️

Your dependence on hot Cheetos was how dependent I was on processed sugar foods, candy, chocolate, energy drinks, and the same thing happened to me. The moment I gave those things up I started having outbursts and I kept crying and just even having negative thoughts as I walked into the gym. I never realized I used sugar as a coping mechanism to not feel certain things or think certain things.
This was a great video! Keep up the great work!

Weight loss for me has been one of my biggest goals for as long as I can remember. I remember doing a lot of diets and working out and for some reason the moment someone mentioned I started looking thinner, I would fall out and gain the same or more weight,. I never knew why until I watched your video. My confidence in my teenage years was almost non-existent, no matter how many compliments I would get I would feel like the biggest thing ever. I have seen many videos about how people lost weight fast, what to eat, how to workout, etc. but felt like nothing worked. I took a long break on my weight loss journey and as I watched your video I realized it's really a mental thing, just as it is physical. This video made me realize so many things and reminded me that I am not alone. This is really helpful and helped me get my confidence up to go for it again. Thank you for sharing your story ❣

"You showing up for yourself" are the greatest words spoken. Thank you for the inspiration because I've been in this place over and over. What has helped me to strive and press forward is knowing that I love myself and my family and I don't want to be selfish because of my unhealthy relationship with food. So I'm still pressing forward a step every day towards a healthy lifestyle and not just looking good. I want to feel good inside and out. I want to be able to do things with my grandchildren. I'm 45 years young and I want to live a full life without pain, sickness and feeling fatigued and so tired. Thank you again for sharing your journey because it's not easy and we will fall down. But getting back up makes it all the sweeter. So now I pray over my health and life to change for the better so I can walk in my purpose. I can't do that being unhealthy and tired. May God bless your journey and keep you grounded. I'm showing up for myself so I can show up for my family and Kingdom work!

My goal is to be 138 Lbs on the dot and to see you reach that is so motivational. It’s such a random number but I’ve been fixated on that number because for someone who’s 5 feet 4 I feel like it’s a realistic goal. This is some solid advice 🥺 I’ve been working out on and off for a year now. I was just working out and not changing my diet.... biggest waste of time lol. You literally cannot out train a bad diet! I’m starting to focus more on my eating habits now & I’ve noticed such a change!
Growing up in a Mexican household I was always told to finish everything on my plate. I would get in trouble if I didn’t.. so I’ve always had that mindset. Now I’m starting to understand that our bodies let us know when we are full and we should respect that. Respect ourselves enough to listen to our own bodies. I’ve been eating in moderation I think the final straw for me was one night I finished an entire plate of carne asada fries by myself ☹️ . I was drunk and I’m not gonna lie it did hit the spot LOL, butttt I just remember feeling disgusted w myself the next day. Before I would only have a couple bites and I would feel full. Now I’m cutting everything I used to be able to eat in half and honestly it’s working! I’m starting to feel satisfied & I don’t get as hungry as I used to. Drinking a lot of water has also been helping me.
Thank you for your advice! Good luck to all of you watching & reading the comments 🤩 WE GOT THISSS!!

thank you so much for your video. I am 240 pounds, i gained 45 pounds in the last year. Today is the 4th day on my weight loss journey. I am fasting 20 hours a day and eating a large healthy meal after the 20 hours then i’m back to fasting. I drink a LOT of water and i started going to the gym 4 days ago as well. Exercising and dieting & hoping to see some progress within the next couple months!! CONSISTENCY is what i keep telling myself. I’ve never “completed” anything in my life. I always give up but i’m determined. i’m tired of being fat & not confident. These types of videos keep me motivated so i thank you ❤ i’m proud of you!! it’s not easy!

I love chick-fil-a! A low-calorie meal that I love there is the grilled chicken sandwich and instead of fries get an 8 count grilled chicken nuggets. It's lower in calories and a good amount of protein!

I think knowing the statistics on calroies in food and how much you need to burn a day to lose weight is what helped me. Being in the dark and just trying to do what people say is good for me never helped me. My fitness pal and Fitbit have definitely helped me in so many ways in learning what to eat, what not to eat, how much I need to exercise a day, etc. Another thing I don’t think people ever think about is drinking water. Drink half of your body weight in ounces everyday and you’ll already start to lose weight from that alone. I’m down 14 pounds from my original weight currently so I’m still in the beginning of my journey but so far just understanding the numbers had helped me understand what I need to do and motivated me.

I have to say that you need to give yourself some grace. Focus on the positive things that you are able to do, ie...continuing your education or getting a decent job and starting an emergency fund so that you are in a better place financially 1 year or 3 years from now. Love yourself, be good to yourself and know that you are enough! ❤💃 You got this!

thank you for this video and for promoting having a healthy relationship with food. When I was deep in my eating disorder and food addiction I didn't think this was possible and the advice I got was to cut out any foods that I binged on. But all that did was keep me in fear and restriction. What I know now that I have gotten free from the eating disorder and food addiction is that it was never about the food, it was always about getting free from what was driving me to food in the first place and reconnecting with myself, my body and my own inner guidance. thanks for an inspiring video.

I’ve always had troubles with my weight, always saying “when I reach this high I’m going to work out” I never did 😭. I hit 225 and was miserable, I would cry about how big I was. I’m 5’8 so I don’t really appear big but in my teens I want to take care of myself, making sure I will continue further when in adulthood. Thank you to everybody in the comments and this video, the tips and advice were very motivating. This helped me realize what I was doing wrong. I lost 2.1 pounds so far from JustFit. I’m starting to try doing 5,000 steps a day and weight lifting if I can. I would always eat cookies nonstop and use the excuse “I just worked out it’s fineeee,” so thanks for the beautiful women giving do’s and don’ts. I’m not a breakfast person either too! I only ate it when I would cook it for my baba too. Making these changes and routines will be hard, but I’m done with hating myself and being miserable. It may take a long time, but the outcome is what drives you to success! I hope everyone has a fantastic day! ❤❤😊
