you explained how to toggle "snapping" on and off.... how about how to do something like "make the power work"? I've installed the power panel with and without snap, I've connected wires, and it still will not hook up to a jukebox, nor will it power the armor display. Any help please?

How do you use what you got in the atomic shop?
I found the upper floors will snap on to the floor, but they disappear under the floor lol I haven't tested it but someone told me that you can't plant items or use the sinks as water resources.
There is no food or water tab in the build menu. Just checked.
No refrigerators under appliances either. No sink for the kitchen

do you still have to build defence for a shelter? or is the whole idea behind it, is that you don't need stuff like turrets?

@ Captain Beardy but is there a point to building in the shelter? are there benefits or is it just a sandbox place only for people to mess around in? I cant figure out the point to the shelter..
Tbh YES it is just a place to build in with less restrictions but at the same time if offers the player a place to enjoy the building system more and build a place of their own.
It’s a 50/50 thing

Beardy I have one question how did you do that door I need that at my camp
Toggle off snap mode and very gently move the doors into position. The middle door was snapped into place first then I toggles off snap mode and slide the other doors into place.
If I store something in side the shelter it won’t let me bring it outside of it
It’s a separate build space. What you store inside the shelter is different from what you store outside the shelter.
With this can you try make a secret service base

Is the snap on off only in shelter? Also im level 10. What level do i need to be to get it? Do i need to be 20?
Yeah the snap on/off is only in shelters
Snapping on and off is only in the shelters and you don’t have be to any specific level to do it. Just follow the instructions at the beginning.
How are people placing these shelter entrances without having that C.A.M.P. thing placed down? That thing has a light on it and makes it near impossible to hide your shelter entrance at all. I keep seeing videos where it looks as if people are just placing their shelter entrance down without having to place down one of the camp modules first.

i stop play shortly after learn bethseda refuse to add text chat in the game. I'm 100% deaf. I depend on text chat to talk with others

Yeah that sucks. Maybe there will be with the next bunker
@@CaptnBeardy Yeah hopefully. I used the bunker walls in it besides for the door ways and it don't look right to me, the front door is the grey wall from the atom shop the rest is doubled wall so they are wallpaper and you can't tell but still don't like it and nothing we can do.
There’s always a work around haha.

How come I can't put floor down but I've seen many other vaults with floor down
Foundation pieces or upper floor pieces? Foundations are a no go in shelters but you can place upper floor pieces to your hearts content.

No buying needed for a shelter. Just follow the quest and do all the steps the Mr Handy gives you then you’ll be able to build a shelter in the camp menu
Do you need steel dawn for this
All updates and dlc for Fallout 76 are installed automatically so I guess yeah you do need it haha.

I completed the quest line but didn’t get the blueprint for the door
It should be all the way on the far right in the build menu. It can be hard to spot but it’s there.
@@CaptnBeardy I checked every variation and all of them are locked.
@@nachoman5910 ahh ok you might wanna try jumping off the game, loading it back up and server hop a few times. If the quest has reset you’ll have to do it again but eventually it will be buildable. This is an old bug which apparently never got fixed 🤷🏻♂️. If this doesn’t work I’d submit a ticket to Bethesda explaining the problem but tbh they probably won’t help.

The red beret is from the “FlyBoy Bundle” and it’s called the “Maroon Military Beret”

If you've finished the small tutorial then it's in your camp building menu.

Open up your pipboy and follow the quest steps. You’ll do a few things with a Mr Handy and then you’ll be able to build the shelter in the camp menu.

The statue or the F.E.T.C.H robot? The robot can be bought from Samuel at Foundation for 4000 gold bullion. As for the dog statue, I’m not sure.

I use my Shelter to hide my Camp from Toxic Players and even shut off my Camp Icon. So Toxic Players won't destroy my Camp. Last of year 2021 Toxic Players destroyed my whole camp just for fun and they did that more than once. I use to sell stuff at my camp and now I don't because of this. I'm glad Bethesda started to sell bushes & trees in the Atomic Shop. I now use these bushes & trees to hide my camp from these Toxic Players. If they can't find it they won't destroy it. I also bought the New Missile Silo from the Atomic Shop to expand my Camp Shelter. Which you can put inside your Camp Shelter.
Yeah toxic players are annoying. Thank god we can now hide our camp icons haha
I bought a shelter then I went and did the mission but the option is still not there
