I think there is also a psychological element to having a break and returning with lower expectations which can help free your mind and as a result your swing. I notice those first few practice sessions after returning are so peaceful and fluent
Stoaked for this, we need more journey videos in the sim content space. im finally making the jump to competing on STG this year myself. But I think you should do just the main camera angle for youtube. It feels harder to connect with the content
Thanks mate! Really appreciate the comment. You will enjoy SGT.. it's a lot of fun and the level of competition is incredibly high. Thanks for the feedback mate! Aspect ratios of the main video make it hard as I have that space on the left to fill. I have done a few videos where I had the main camera large and then flashed to the GS Pro world after the shot but had negative feedback from that style
@JLagGOLF yah sim golf content is such a new space there is t really a set template for it. I just look to regular golf content and think what is it here that keeps people engaged and to me it's alot to do with how you capture and portray the golfers emotions during the ball flight. I think that's what youtube IRL golf has gotten so right over all the other mediums. Its easy to invest into the round cause you see their emotional reaction to the ball flight.
Thanks Daniel! I really appreciate that mate. It's been amazing for me.. I really love it. The club data has improved dramatically as well since owning it. I think they still need to refine the club data as there are still misreads but the ball data never misses a beat with the PIX balls 👍👍
@@JLagGOLF Thanks Joe! It just looks so easy as a setup to have your buddies over (or not!) and everyone can just play and have a great experience without stickers and worrying about not reading short chips and putts.
@@DanielBolton-q1r Absolutely mate I couldn't recommend it enough. The no stickers is fantastic like you said not having to have friends take the time to put stickers in the right location. Left and right handed players can use it and have no issues!
Yeah it's the current beta version of LABs that isn't yet optimised just slowing down everything. I have been told by Protee that this will be fixed and optimised in the stable release 🤞🤞
Definitely get stuck in mate! It's a great community and it's just about having fun at the end of the day. But yes I reckon the competition would be strong in that league as well! 😂

What GS Pro version are you playing? Its cool to have match settings in one window 🙂

Just curios. Are you planning to do a review of the R50?
I should fingers crossed have it in my hands in a week or two 🤞🤞
I mean is there any reason not to get the Pro Tee VX for the ultimate indoor sim experience? Love your content!!

You need to force update GSpro at startup. This upgrades the api. The new indicator should work after doing that.
Yes I figured out this the other day! Thanks mate I absolutely love it. So much better than the voice saying ready! 🤣
@@JLagGOLF Haha, much better.
Was there a decent amount of shot delay on this round? I don’t remember ever seeing that before

I see they have an over 60 league. Guess I'm going to have to see what kind of competition there is. Probably pretty good.
