I own a 2022 Hilux, with the 2.8l engine, great vehicle and extremely capable out of the box, the only thing I miss is the 4WD manual selector like in this older model, that feels much more rugged than the electric switch of the newer models
@@nickgood8166 Except owning this car in SA is literally putting your life on the line, the engine is so much in demand i think because they use it in their taxis which often need one for replacing the original one after a million miles or so.
Not really that stupid, I just got mine banged up on a boulder on the passenger side, crunched it real good but it did protect the side panels. Also, try getting on a lifted Hilux in the rain, with muddy boots and you're tired as fucked and in the dark without a side step....
Appreciate the man who is calling Libya freedom fighters not terrorists . Respect sir. Toyota was always the choice.
"freedom fighters", stop being stupid..
A really interesting and informative, well presented, old school review.
Much appreciated

The Australian version has side airbags and the SR5 has height adjustable drivers seat with climate control.
As does the SA version. I have one, it's the bog's dollocks!
They are just nice to drive@@nickgood8166

Good review, is there any review on the sound insulation of this generation. Is it noisy in the cabin?
I watch this for fun, you otherwise don't need any reviews or advice to buy a Toyota Hilux, just do it. Its worth it. :)
Really appreciate that

No Brasil intervalo de manutenção um ano ou 10.000 km (6.000 milhas) para uso normal. Caso seja uso severo seis meses ou 5.000 km. Que diferença!
