Today we’re checking out the Oladance Wearable Stereo, a set of true wireless open-ear earbuds. Giving all day comfort and battery life, impressive sound, and most importantly, unlike typical headphones or earbuds, these do not obstruct your ears so you can still hear your surroundings. After using the Oladance Wearable Stereo for the past weeks, these have become my new day to day earbuds that I wear while working at home and working out. While it does show finger prints, I like the grippy matte finish on the charge case. It is bigger than your typical wireless earbud charge case, but is still slim, so sits comfortably in the pocket. USB-C charging on the back. The OWS feature a unique look. You may think these look like a pair of bone conducting headphones, but that is not the case, instead of bone conduction the OWS use drivers. This approach has some key advantages, especially in terms of sound, which we’ll look at in a sec. Each earbud has two parts. Main portion contains the driver, here you will also find a touch surface for your typical smart assistant and media controls. Bottom portion is the battery, impressive 16 hrs of battery life per charge - take 2 hrs to charge. In the hand the earbuds feel very light and soft silicone texture smooth on skin. Once on, they fell super light. OWS use 5 points of contact around the ear for a secure fit, never fall off or move on your ears. I’ve gone running and tested them in the gym, even tested the IPX4 sweat and waterproof capabilities, as it was raining the day I went running. Also, if you wear glasses, the earbuds sit nicely next to my glasses’ frame. Since you have nothing in or covering your ear, after a while you just forget they are even there. I work from home and share an office space with my fiancé, I can have these in playing music or a podcast and still hear her speak or have a conversation. But how do they sound? Compared to a typical pair bone conducting headphones, I found the sound quality on the Oladance Wearable Stereo to be significantly better. They get nice and loud and sound profile is quite neutral. Highs are detailed, mids are clear, lows are present. One of the big advantages you get with an open-ear design is a broader soundstage. You get really big sound, almost sounds like the music is coming from speakers in a 3D environment. In podcast, voices are clear and true to life. Call quality was solid too. One thing to bear in mind is that sound does leak more than with a typical in-ear pair of earbuds. Not a problem outdoors, indoors suggest keeping the volume below 50%. Who are the Oladance Wearable Stereo earbuds for? These earbuds are perfect for working out outdoors. Being able to hear your surroundings, cars, bikers, children, from a safety perceptive is really important. The long battery life and light weight design allow for a super comfortable fit, probably the most comfortable earbuds I’ve worn. This means they are great for the office to wear for a full work day, and the open-ear design also means you can communicate and collaborate with colleagues without having to take on and off your earbuds or pause and play your music. Really nice, this is why for me these have become my new day to day earbuds that I wear while working at home and working out!

Where or when would you use the Oladance Wearable Stereo earbuds? 🤔
Probs when I go for a outdoor run
Any outdoor activities will do.
@harshav_21 - (my username)
yep like you said any outdoor activities...
Sounds like a good comfortable alternative to airpods 👍
May be more during workouts & outdoors😊
It's great to have a review from a fellow glasses wearer, and you addressed essentially everything I wanted to know. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I used airpods HEAVILY for teams meetings, but I have some sinus issues and started having ear issues as a result of having airpods in all the time. I also used aftershokz bone conduction to give my ears some relief, but still felt ear/throat discomfort after prolonged use. These are now my go to for meetings and calls. The people I talk to say they can't tell that I'm not talking directly into the phone, and my ears-nose-throat feel much better. Great option if you are someone like me that struggles with sinus issues, but also wants the same in pocket convenience of air pods.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience
Omgosh! This is what I absolutely needed. Sounds like my type of earphone and seems like it was something I can deal with since I don’t like anything in my ear all the time. This would be the perfect gift ever. 😍 thank you for explaining and makes everything much better.
Hi Sylvia, glad it was useful. I test a lot of products and really like these.
The mic test sold me on these, sounds so much better than the mics on the other open air headphones I've been looking at, which is the most important thing for me.
‘Wearable stereo’ is a brilliant description. I put my pair on six hours ago and forgot I was wearing them. Light and comfortable. I got fed up with earbuds falling out into my soup and irritating my ears. I thought I would be sacrificing sound quality for convenience but - no! The sound is as good as with my Bose in-ear buds. I listen to classical music and tested these out with a dashing bit of violin from Beethoven. Terrific! I prefer the ‘open ear’ sensation and feel safer when surrounding sounds are not cancelled out.
Design is elegant and practical. Worth every penny! 10/10 so far!
Hi Barbara, thanks for this feedback!
How's the call/Zoom meeting quality?
I had this video sent from a coworker and he also bought these headsets and i told him to forward to see how are they and so far i loved your explanatiin on how it works because i noticed with the headbuds in the ear i had to remove the buds while in the office because i just simply could not listen to anyone that would speak to me. I found that to be very inconvinient. Luv how your voice sounded being outside because i do alot of calling and listen to my gospel music founf it to be very nice. Loved that they are very comfortable and luved with the alerts that you provided when being next to coworkers and having them listen to your music and as well be careful when on a call as well. Thank you for advice.
Hi Madeline, thanks for the detailed feedback
Well appreciated it's comfortable design, bettery battery, & it's design tooo☺️🤩
@1660th - This earbuds looks good! The design is nice as well - from the case to the buds themselves.
The fact that it’s in Orange colour (my favourite) makes it even more interesting!
I just ordered OWS after watching your review. I hope, wont regret.🤞
Of course not. Enjoy!
I would definitely use them while walking Joye. Nothing is scarier than a big pit bull sneaking up on us. We have a trail that goes all the way through a few towns here. They took out old railroad tracks and paved a trail for miles and miles. You can end up far away all by yourself. I definitely would feel safer.
Fantastic review. 🎉
Thanks Anthony!
@anepekal my favourite Oladance Wearable Stereo feature is the 360 stereo sound. It could pleasure my ears
@sarisaristoked
I love the design of the OWS and how it hangs on to your head regardless of activity.
I hope these are the ones that will finally let me listen to music again without hurting my TMD.
Let me know your experience
TMD?

@@DionMedia it's been three weeks and I am very surprised. I use them just about every day and I use them at night while I sleep. I also got the sony float runs and the oladance is far, far more comfortable and sounds way better. I don't get migraines from it touching my TMJ, but the only issue I have is that it does clamp a bit too hard and my ears start to hurt. I also don't know why they didn't include a charging case but maybe that helps with keeping the cost down. Overall I am very impressed and happy I can enjoy music again.
Open air type and very good battery, really good pair of ear buds
@enelraguri Thanks, Dion, for introducing to me that accessory which has a new design, my favourite feature. It won't damage the ears. I will use that while at work. 😊
Nice, waiting for a review on their new model OLA06 with multipoint connection feature 😊
Uniqueness and design
Give them to mee🎉🎉🎉
@mjoshss
I love the color, you will definitely not have a difficult time looking for it when misplaced. Though the design looks a little too big and bulky which looks a bit odd for my liking.
@gartcave
Love the concept, feel like there is a ton of growth available in this market. Excited to see your future coverage of bone conducting TWS!
There will be more coverage, that is for sure
How good are they when using ms teams,zoom calls and regular cell phone calls?
Are they louder than regular earbuds since the drivers are bigger? 🤔 earbuds always sound low for me.
This type of specification review is an info-mercial, possible a paid info-mercial. The comments below are so cheery they seem to come from a town called Pleasantville. The icing on the cake is yet another reference to the bone conduction style of headphones where none is needed. I need the straight skinny so I can make an informed purchase so I must move on. Thanks for all the effort you must put into a video like this. Enjoy.
Hi Gerald, true, some of my videos are being sponsored, which I always make clear in the beginning if that is the case. Still it does not prevent me from being objective
Does it get in the way of your glasses since it have to be worn over the ears?
Thanks a lot for the review, also for the glasses part i was scared about It!
Don't know if you tried It, but how abiti the latency? Is any good, cause i would use It a lot for media consuption.
PS Sorry for my english, i'am form Italy, i've tried my best 😅
Greetings form Venice
Hi Matteo, your English is much better than my italiano :) And Venice is one of the most beautiful cities on this planet! Yr question: bluetooth always has some latency but I consider this minimal with these earphones
Shokz are releasing the OpenFit to rival the Oladance and the Oneodio Openrock Pro. I wonder how they compare with each other.
I like color orange
I committed and got a pair coming my way soon
Enjoy them!
@Dion Schuddeboom thanks I'll be looking forward to receiving them, I myself have some bose qc 35 , which is nice for noise cancelling sessions, and I once had a Aftershock headset some years ago , and I liked the tech about it being open ear, and even if this isn't bone conducting I'll still be interested in seeing how these works
@leeseth.07
love how they just sit around your ear instead of having to stab it into the ear
Thank you for your detail review! I went to amazon and saw some reviews saying that after couple weeks the battery wont charge anymore. I had Samsung Galaxy Buds which had the same issue with one or both earphones stopped charging (which i no longer used). I really want to get one of these Oladance but i want to know if you encounter any issue with the charging issue for these earbuds at all? And whether if you have any issue where the music is often interrupted? Thanks!
Hi Veronica, always good to check other peoples experiences. Mine has been positive. In general only buy at places where they will honor guarantee
No worries, thank you for your response 👍I already got one from the official Oladance website
@sahusaahil
@myiphonedump
The colour is very attractive. I also like the stereo sound.
Can we use only one side of ows
Could you do a comparison of Oladance and OneOdio OpenRock Pro?
Hi, perhaps for the future, I will keep this in mind
@@DionMedia thank you
@ronan.obeirne
Love the magnetic attachment of the ear buds to the case. The 18hrs of battery life is definitely a reason to consider buying these!
Is this earbuds suitable for calls, or just for listening to music?
Hi Emma, sorry I am a bit late, but yes, it is suitable for calls as well
What Say Ye About The New 2023 Shokz OpenFit ?¿
Is this video perhaps helpful? ua-cam.com/video/surQYnsm4NY/v-deo.html
Is it possible to operate the call separately?
You can take calls throughs Oladance, but not sure what you mean with your question
Could I wear earplugs with this?
Music orange
Wow!!! 16 hour battery life and waterproof capabilities plus open-ear design?! These are must get for sure!!!!
I love the bright Oranges colour too.
@11ljay
Can these be connected to 2 phones at the same time?
Hi Bruce, good question, to the best of my knowledge this is not possible, but I am not entirely sure
@azihjabbar my favourite Oladance Wearable Stereo feature is the waterproof, it could be very helpful
@elemento_06 (Bharath Menon)
Nice review as always Dion! From what you have mentioned, the battery life and the 360 audio would be my picks for the favourite features of this device.
Does anyone else with these notice a distractingly audible noise floor hiss? Can't tell if that's normal for these or if there's something up with my pair
Sorry to hear, not on my said
@@DionMedia interesting. Thanks! I might contact them about that
@alexiecortes ❣️❣️🔥🔥
WOW!!!!😱 the battery life was amazing. This is my first hearing and seeing aribuds with long life battery span. I LOVE IT. Also, the sound feefback. WOW!!!!! Super love it ❤️❤️😱😍🔥🔥🔥🔥
@hanifhaiqall my favourite Oladance Wearable Stereo feature is the long battery life (16 hours) and the design looks kinda sport for me
They always fall off for me for some reason 😢
@mgont_stuff
In Orange, these have a lot of sport vibe. Black version is boring, but is also something that will suit smart casual attire.
Thanks for vid as I haven’t Heard about Oladance before.
Ip4 at this pricing point is totally not worth it. Skullcandy has ip55 for half the price.
Not aware of this, but thanks for sharing
Ordinary people don’t choose their audio system based on ip rating @humanature
Oladance = 3 Syllables to say
OWS = 5 Syllables to say
There's so much spam in these comments...
Hi Freili, it is a sponsored video as I mention in the beginning, but still I aim at an objective presentation. I only accept assignments of a certain level, I turn down 9 out of 10.
@lgpampolini
The orange color looks really nice!
Liked the design! It's probably a good fit for exercising without dropping them!
Congrats for the channel and video! New around here, but it's been very useful for my purchase decisions!
Thanks for the feedback Gustavo!
Open ears
paid promoter !!!!!
knows nothing how to test and share real time results of mic/call quality etc !!!!!!!!!!
Hi, that is a bit harsh. Yes, this was as I said a promoted video, but I did all the testing.
@ohitsbryan06 That kind of wireless earphone is new to me and it looks awesome! It's good to know that it will last 16 hours per charge and it's also water and sweatproof. That sound quality seems good and would be worth it.
@harshav_21
it does not interfere with the environment noise...
@iam__mill
The OWS has a beautiful color 🔥 and and the battery life is impressive with the slim case
The best things would be the open ear design, since I can’t wear in ear design like airpods for too long, I would be quite painful. And also the 16Hours battery backup would be another wow part! Love it so much
@yeeeshuenn

@manar_kreet
I am not a big fan of earbuds, as why would I add a device to charge but the 16 hrs battery life is great tbh.
It looks so futuristic
@endavour444 my favourite Oladance Wearable Stereo feature is the battery life that could last for 16 hours
xx_eme.rika_xx
My favorite feature is the touch surface because I run track and its so much easier to listen to music when I don't have to stop to go on my phone if I need to pause or unpause.
anthonydgibbs_1 I love that fact that they are in ear earbuds. I have the galaxy buds live and I've been looking for something thats are more secure and not stuck in my ear.
@alfaz3832 looking comfortable for ear. and the case is so nice looking.
Heyy great video, this is the first time I saw a wearable tech that looks like this. When I first saw the thumbnail, I had no idea what the device was. Without reading the title I immediately thought it was a hearing aid, but then I clicked the video and yes I realized it was an earbud. I still was wondering if what that extra piece across the buds is, I first though it has something to do with the sound or something and yes, that may be my favorite feature about the OWS earbuds, not only that it is a good idea to separate the battery portion to a bigger battery, the design also looks.
@31.15.11 here joining the giveaway.
Hi John, thanks for joining!
@ebbzz88 im not fan of stereo but this is look good 😮
Winner Dm ..
don't they feel heavy the fact that they hang on the ear? @roja9573
no, they feel surprisingly light
No! Light as a feather! You forget you have them on! Even with specs.
@gogogogo.9
My favorite feature/features are the open ear design and fit, i like to be aware of what’s happening around me especially while studying :)
@amirulwafi07 I like the crystal clear voice calling. So, I won’t have to hold my phone while receiving the call
@spiderman__mr
Open air type and good battery life
Love these earphones for its 360° stereo sound, Long battery life (16 hours battery life) and Waterproof. Thank you for your thorough review. It was very helpful. I am seriously considering checking them out. @allrubia
@siddu_instas
Open ear design is my favorite.
While I am not a huge fan of large earbuds, the OWS can provide a decent sound quality hence can be an alternative for those who are looking for a better fit and other features that can jive along with what the competition offers. Most likely, this earbuds can be a good conversation starter in my opinion as the design and aesthetics are quite unique if we will compare it with other earbuds available in the market and it doesn’t look cheap considering the price as well.
@seunghineri
Like the open nature of them the best. I like to be aware of my surroundings. @lolokawaii85
@jayden56pri
I like how they don’t get in the way of your ears but I would prefer the new AirPods Pro’s
@_f.i.r.a.s_
My favorite feature is the design
I like the fact that companies are exploring and researching new ideas of consuming sound and not just copy pasting what Apple does this is very good as the sound clarity claims are as good as Bose’s earphones
(@prathiknt)
I have it and I love it but have you tried using it for calls using FBmessenger and Instagram.. it does not work for me 🥺
@sv_sparkle design and features
I would like to test this open-ear listing to Daft Punk.
@josel1723

Battery Life. 🔥🔥
Great review. Thanks for uploading these and exposing me to these cool new tech items which I probably would never have found. Much respect m8 ♥️.
@solomonjpitts
@mark_hrndz
Design comfort and better battery
@arbaaz_101
Best is battery life of 16hr, it is better than the airpods gen 2, OWS earphones are very attractive and eye catching earphones ❤, other than that the color is very attractive and vibrant ❤...
In ears are not always comfortable. So, this works for a different use case.
@prateek.khuranaa
@_.aryaaa.____ (Arya Bikash)
Waterproof is the main thing I liked.
While I think that the battery life is impressive, these are a hard sell. Powerbeats pro don’t look nearly as hideous as these and have physical control buttons for volume and playback, an essential think for working out.
@logicoverluck55

Nice review as always Dion! From what you have mentioned, the battery life and the 360 audio would be my picks for the favourite features of this device.
