Hey Dion! Great vid!!! I've been using Tile item trackers since the fall of 2018... while I love the concept of item trackers, I'll be honest and outright say that my experiences with Tile have not been very impressive. Their performance has been relatively poor and unreliable, like testing out a set of keys RIGHT NEXT to the phone and it still can't locate them... and feels like a money grab for people like me, as well as a money grab to replace trackers that don't have changeable batteries, and also don't even last a year either... I heard about these air tags last month and meant to look into them, but got sidetracked... your video prompted me to remember about these! So I have a question (somewhat stupid, but will ask anyway)... do these work with Android phones? I use a Samsung A71 (yes, I'm one of those people who only uses Android phones, and also uses Apple computers lol) I googled it quickly just now before posting this question, and all signs point to yes... your thoughts on this, either via a comment response or in another video, would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, thank you so much for your feedback! Sorry to hear your experience with Tile has not been great. Android phones can only be used to scan a lost AirTag to retrieve information. Unfortunately, AirTags cannot be paired with Android since they require Apple’s Find My app, so won’t show up on a map like on iPhone. That said, I think it is great to use different platforms. I have been using iPhones for many years now but would like to try switch to android or use both to get a feel for both major operating systems. Hopefully this opportunity will come as the channel grows! :)

How did you get 14.7 on a 6 series? My Iphone 6 only goes up to 12.5.5 and yes, I do hate the planned obsolescence Apple doles out to their long term customers and users.
yes, Hi Dion, I liked your video. Very nice lay-out. I like your direct way of speaking. I am not sure if I would need one, but well, you know, may be it is a nice idea for a gift. Looks sort of chique. Thanks man!!
I’m mainly wanting to use this for my cars in case one of them gets stolen. Even tho it doesn’t have precision it’ll give a good idea to where it’ll be and it’ll be hard to miss
My only issue is the range on it is 15-30 ft. I want to use it to track my pet when they go adventuring outside but this item isn't quite what I need :(
I guess ancient history begins at iPhone 11. Would have been nice if you addressed iPhone 6 and higher, since there are still millions of them out there and perfectly serviceable.
Yeah, my iPhone 6s doesn’t do the find AirTag feature. But I guess it’s good enough as I use it to keep track of my kids. Not gunna cough up the money for a new phone.

@@jo-jo8807 That is great to hear, glad to help!

So is Iphone 6s ancient? Can’t seem to find videos of the 6s and I believe it is capable since it has ios 14.7

But pretty much that seems to be how useful it will be for me, thank you.
@@an2niotransitproductions813 well the 6s is 7 years old so yes it is ancient

Very useful video. Thanks! It’s hard to find good content like this using older iPhones.
Thanks Damion, very much appreciated!

Have not heard this one before, but makes sense!
The narrative does not match your video, real shame
Can someone else trigger the alarm or only the airtag owner?
Hi Mardig, good question. Only the owner of the AirTag (the one who set it up) can trigger the alarm.
Great video mate!
Thanks man! :)
Very helpful video. Exactly what I needed to know before buying. Thank you for posting this!
Glad to hear that, thanks for letting me know! :)
Thank you for this very good review. It was very helpful.
Thanks Jesse for your support! :)

Hi, I know of many people who tag their pet and as long as the AirTag can be traced by any Apple device, the range is much farther than 15-30 ft
as it uses the GPS global tracking system

These are pretty cool to have.
They are, I find them very useful
