I couldn’t help but laugh when the sister walks through the door to the kitchen and the sister is starting to cry again, and she just walks by and yells “STOP CRYING” and then 10mins later she’s the one down in the floor crying lol
If you have siblings, it’s just such a perfect scene lol. Second episode: Very proud of Rishi and her honesty in admitting that she doesn't know things but she is willing to learn. It's just too bad that she trusted the wrong guy to take charge of her kitchen. Third Episode: Pissed with Chappy and was left wondering how the f*ck his wife is still there dealing with all his crap. They have an army of troopers who are dedicated in what they do but it's just too bad that their boss is horrible. Fourth Episode: I. CAN'T. EVEN. Amy is a nightmare and so is her husband. So delulu!!! They made my blood boil. Working for people like that is a living hell.
Sammy doesn’t want the girl using the cash register because he was filtering money thru the business and if she did it he wouldn’t be able to filter the money😂
All these restaurants have the nastiest fridges and freezers. Where's the heath and food inspection workers in these cities???? This makes me scared to eat in restaurants.
"Government is the problem" mantra, accompanied by years of deregulation and defunding of inspectors and many government departments so rich people can get tax cuts...
the daughter shouting at the crying sister to stop crying broke my heart. i look at her and i’m like how is she that man’s daughter and then she opens her mouth and i’m like oh yeah.
The greek restaurant one was really sad. My god seeing that family in shambles and that poor Tariya shes a nervous wreck and just wants to see her families business do well.
Stubborn has been conflated with cowardly and being a shit in this show. The amount of owners that can see their wife crying and their business about to close and be like "I'm not changing" for the sake of their ego is ridiculous.
The chef that got sacked is currently watching this episode on repeat in his underwear throwing empty beer cans at his TV shouting everyone loved the deep fried sandwich
All things aside, I sincerely wish to find a wife like Starr, the way she loves and supports her husband is phenomenal and utterly heartwarming. Simply magnificent.
It always makes me laugh when an owner who is losing thousands every month tells GR that he doesn't know what he is talking about. The levels of self-delusion border on pathological.
I 100% relate to Tariy, I worked as an assistant manager at a restaurant, too much pressure and shoved into a role I was not prepared for and I honestly cried as much as her, when she doesn’t cry at the end, her relief it’s honestly an awesome feeling
Does anyone know how Amy's cats are doing? I'm concerned for them. Also they would have saved themselves a lot of stress if they just served cakes and coffee.
UPDATE: The cats applied for Emmancipation. The court agreed and the cats got their own house. The cats were then shot in a drive by shooting. The suspect was never caught although witnesses said it was a man with white hair and a woman with blonde hair.
First episode: Mom is the most rational person there. Server daughter is under way too much pressure, she’s emotional to begin with but add on the stress of that family and that’s where the tears start. Dad is a horrible narcissist, he had good intentions opening the restaurant and having it be family run, but he doesn’t know how to take criticism and when something goes wrong it’s someone else’s fault. The cook daughter is just as bad as her father, literally when Gordon was going through the fridges and pointed out all the gross food she said “I’m not the only one responsible” maybe a different wording but that’s the idea, then her dad yells at them and after she complains that he always blames everyone else, which is literally what she’s doing too, so she’s a hypocrite and a narcissist.
I love that gordon didnt include Tariya when he was asking the family about all the gross food in the fridges. I mean, the girl really didn't need that, and it's sweet that he was so nice to her.
I hated the way the family was treating the crying daughter. Gordon comforted and talked gently to her in the short time he was there. He treated her with kind words. I completely understand her as I cry at everything, too. She's crying because she cares a lot. You can't tell someone who's crying to shut up and expect them to feel okay straight away
Society coddles women, telling them they can do nothing wrong, telling them they're "princesses" and "queens", get away with lower criminal punishment compared to men, mostly win right of parenthood compared to men and so on. At some point you have to say "just stop whining and get on with it".
Go figure, a Greek restaurant owner being stubborn, his one side kick daughter in the kitchen being an unemotional tyrant and the youngest being an emotionally abused punching bag. The wife being the voice of reason…couldn’t see that coming! As far as Rocky goes, he rode that free paycheque as far as he could take it. Rishi was too trusting but a good person.
It always baffles me how these owners call Gordon for help because they are hundreds of thousands in debt, no one comes to their restaurant etc and then they somehow expect him to tell them everything is perfect and the customers are the problem LOL. Then when he doesn't enable their delusions, they have the audacity to tell one of the best chefs in the world that he doesn't know how to cook or run a restaurant when THEY called him for help. This show is just insanity lol that first Greek owner in particular was just infuriating.
It's like- "Oh god, i'm bleeding, please help!" "Okay, heres a bandage!" (puts onto wound) "Uh, actually, that's not the right brand of bandages!! And the angle isnt' completely correct!!"
tbh her crying so much doesnt seem heathy to me. But i then again I dont know how it feels to be in that situation and crying might be a coping mechanism so she doesnt actually explode.
@@crystalwu7400 it's healthy to cry so that she can process the situation and reality of things but she's only crying that much because of how the others are acting, she knows it all sucks.

tbh i think amy's never going to get any less delusional unless she leaves sammy bc him constantly hiding the truth from her and telling her she's perfect isn't helping
No you got it backwards. Amy is crazy and has trained Sammy to never say anything to her subconsciously because any time he does she explodes. The reason they're together are because they're both crazy and their crazyness would never fit a normal person, so they have each other and they protect each other's insaneness.
The minute any women start to cry, Chef cracks. You can see that heart become exposed. Chef really is supportive and loving. Working to try to help other succeed. ❤
Rishi's a complete ditz but she's kind of likeable at the same time. Kind of like the quirky aunt. You love hanging out with her but you wouldn't trust her to look after your dog when your on holiday.
There's no way that chef Ramsey's alarm bells aren't ringing when a chef asks to speak to him alone before his visit. He definitely plays up how much he believes them. Maybe for the show maybe so he can stick it back on them, maybe both.
Aw Tariya was so sweet and pure, I'd cry too if I had to work there, she was far too good for that place, plus Samy is an absolute bastard for taking the servers tips for himself, how fucking dare he?
What breaks me at Prohibition Grille (among other things) is that if you take a look at the original menu at 47:46 every item sounds incredible! It's honestly astonishing that a chef can fuck that up!
I think when the owner cried over rocky Ramsy finally understood riri was perhaps not the brightest but had been blessed with a life that put her in a good enough position to purchase a business on dreams alone, and Im glad he helped her much more gentle than the beginning of the ep with firing him.
Bless the older sister 😢she has no option but just to cry! The mother has lots of patience with the crazy husband 😅plus the bug under mom's eyes shows how stressful she is bless her! 😢
I got mixed report, but right now, they're at Isreal since they got the attention from the Feds cuz Sammy had a criminal background and got deported, Amy followed. It's said they tried to open a new restaurant, not sure it went through. They started an online firestorm there too (not sure); but apparently as far i can tell, Sammy is retired and Amy made a baking cook book. Like I said there's a lot of stories about these two like theyre getting divorced (doubt it true). They seem normal now, but I'd watch them closely since they have scam and abuse people for decades. And demeaning. I'm not surprised how much of an airhead she comes across. All she knows is demeaning herself for money. Not a lick of intelligence when it comes to running food services
I went to a Moroccan restaurant with belly dancers before but it was fun and classy.
Sammy panicking whenever the cops are mentioned is hilarious.
I couldn’t help but laugh when the sister walks through the door to the kitchen and the sister is starting to cry again, and she just walks by and yells “STOP CRYING”
and then 10mins later she’s the one down in the floor crying lol
If you have siblings, it’s just such a perfect scene lol.
The stoic older sister just lashes out as a defense mechanism, because seeing her lil sister cry really hurts her and she doesn’t want to cry; she wants to show her dad she’s strong enough to lead a kitchen.
When i first saw her say “stop crying,” i could immediately tell it’s because she was on the verge too lololol.
It was so perfect 😂
I loved how the Greek dad was at first not willing to cut anything from the menu then we see him suddenly see the light and he just starts getting rid of stuff and he looks so UNBURDEND and refreshed ❤. And he and the daughter in the kitchen ended up working so cute together.
That was such a beautiful scene , you can actually feel the weight lifted from all of their shoulders ❤
idk why but I'm so proud of rishi. like good for her, she seriously came so far. one of the biggest transformations I think I've seen on KN!! went from being absolutely clueless in the kitchen to expediting, and she looks so happy in her nice little business getup lol. lady has some good vibes, she's a pretty fast learner when she finally got her confidence
I really liked Rishi, even as clueless as she was she didnt get embarrassed and back down, she owned it and owned up to the task she had.
Plus her personality is just refreshing, for me anyway. Not enough fun loving souls
She went bankrupt in 2014
she shouldve changed her soup of the day, that would saved them @@tequilajoesph1086
@@tequilajoesph1086 "she" did not go bankrupt. She sold the place to someone else, which then the new Owner made it go bankrupt. If anything she stepped down as an Owner and went for a Manager role elsewhere
That Amy is a vile person. I used to have a boss who owned a restaurant that stole our tips as servers and the customers were shocked when i used to tell them not to tip any more as we didn't get them.
Yeah man. Who'd have thought a woman who met an ugly old man over twice her age while he was in Vegas surronded by "models" and decided he was the one for her.. would be a terrible decision maker and and mentally unstable. Crazy
That's illegal. You can sue.
15:10 by far the best line in the show. 'The pita was good' in tears. Tariya is awesome I love her so much
This family are like the characters of inside out.
Most underrated comment ever!!
My poor baby Tariya! 🥺 She deserves the best hugs ever from every one of us. Every time she cried I just wanted to help her so bad. I hope she got away from her dad / sister and she's now living her best life 🙁
I read that she no longer works at the restaurant but became a medical assistant at a hospital in Bellevue, Washington. (as of 2023)
@@vihta545good for her
@@vihta545that’s wonderful, I hope it’s her passion. It was for the best she’s no longer in the restaurant business with her abusive dad.
I love that he is so human. As much as he is furious at the quality of food. He becomes such a calm, understanding person when she cried and becomes transparent about her fears and stuff when it comes to approaching the issues in her business.
Yeah its so sad that so many women - "try to cry" to gain sympathy, well documented in pshycology and then blame others. They even do this in kindergarden rofl.. Standard classic rhetoric. It even effects males hormones - including gordon ramsay.
Even ten years later, I'm still so proud of Rishi for stepping up the way she did.
Good for you girl! (wherever you are now)
Im more proud of Ramsay, he really is the man that stood up and guided her.
@@el29it’s still impressive how she stepped up, she seemed like a bit of an airhead sure but I think she means well
Impressive? Well i wouldn't agree, even a 14 year old could grasp that shit for a long time ago [atleast me without sound arrogant]. So "Impressive" ? Nah i dont agree. But i do tho care about her and im glad she did and everything is going good today. But i would never call it impressive. She has a good heart, but her head game is like a raindear infront of the car lights. :P.@@yhorm685
Lol same
First Episode:
Tariya is beautiful and so is her soul. Karen is admirable and is the voice of reason in their restaurant.
Second episode:
Very proud of Rishi and her honesty in admitting that she doesn't know things but she is willing to learn. It's just too bad that she trusted the wrong guy to take charge of her kitchen.
Third Episode:
Pissed with Chappy and was left wondering how the f*ck his wife is still there dealing with all his crap. They have an army of troopers who are dedicated in what they do but it's just too bad that their boss is horrible.
Fourth Episode:
I. CAN'T. EVEN. Amy is a nightmare and so is her husband. So delulu!!! They made my blood boil. Working for people like that is a living hell.
Sammy doesn’t want the girl using the cash register because he was filtering money thru the business and if she did it he wouldn’t be able to filter the money😂
Yep, mafia member for sure
@@kellismith4329 I believe he even said he was a gangster at 2:30.00
Imagine your food doesn’t arrive yet and you see Gordon Ramsay walk into the restaurant 😐
All these restaurants have the nastiest fridges and freezers. Where's the heath and food inspection workers in these cities???? This makes me scared to eat in restaurants.
Yes many of them are scary, you won’t find me there
"Government is the problem" mantra, accompanied by years of deregulation and defunding of inspectors and many government departments so rich people can get tax cuts...
the daughter shouting at the crying sister to stop crying broke my heart. i look at her and i’m like how is she that man’s daughter and then she opens her mouth and i’m like oh yeah.
The greek restaurant one was really sad. My god seeing that family in shambles and that poor Tariya shes a nervous wreck and just wants to see her families business do well.
looking at the bright side, they're still open with high reviews
Its just called - problems, that proably youre family have had in life also.
It makes me so happy they're still open and have awesome reviews! They deserve the success
@@el29im sure your family is happy as hell. Seriously
Stubborn has been conflated with cowardly and being a shit in this show. The amount of owners that can see their wife crying and their business about to close and be like "I'm not changing" for the sake of their ego is ridiculous.
It's unimaginable people are willing to loose everything just for their ego
Some people can't let go of their pride.
Or women who does it, yes agree
The chef that got sacked is currently watching this episode on repeat in his underwear throwing empty beer cans at his TV shouting everyone loved the deep fried sandwich
All things aside, I sincerely wish to find a wife like Starr, the way she loves and supports her husband is phenomenal and utterly heartwarming. Simply magnificent.
Euw gross.
@@linesided i think he meant personality wise, but you know, love is blind, and if you're lucky, deaf
Yess...I saw that too . She's great
love to see this comments section rally around Tariya. my heart breaks for her
It always makes me laugh when an owner who is losing thousands every month tells GR that he doesn't know what he is talking about.
Also they would have saved themselves a lot of stress if they just served cakes and coffee.
literally I feel sorry for her cats
UPDATE: The cats applied for Emmancipation. The court agreed and the cats got their own house. The cats were then shot in a drive by shooting. The suspect was never caught although witnesses said it was a man with white hair and a woman with blonde hair.
That's what I thought too o.O Why not just stick to the cakes....
Who else just binges these episodes. Now they put 4 together to make me do even less on finding another.
That and any other series really. So bingeable. :)
Nah he isnt a narcisst.
He was stubborn and used to the old ways, but as seen in the video, he was willing to change and from the looks of it he has gotten better.
I've seen that last episode like 4 times now because A) its entertaining af B) I still can't believe these clowns are real people 🤣
If someone ask me i`ll say it`s staged, i can`t believe this people are exist and making money.
Protect Toriya at all costs, lady has a good soul.
nah, princess syndrome
they see their daughter crying and they yell instead of helping her? wtf
unfortunately, Balkans/Eastern European families are like that :/
I'm Turk and this is way too common
Society coddles women, telling them they can do nothing wrong, telling them they're "princesses" and "queens", get away with lower criminal punishment compared to men, mostly win right of parenthood compared to men and so on.
At some point you have to say "just stop whining and get on with it".

That Karen from the first episode is the first Karen I have ever agree'd with
"how do you rate your food out of 10?" "i give it a 10" .... here we go again
Honestly! On this show and Hotel Hell I’m genuinely like “rate it 2-4 less than you think!”
Tariya was the eldest
Unemotional tyrant that started crying as soon as Gordon called her out for the state of the fridge lmao
It's like-
"Oh god, i'm bleeding, please help!"
"Okay, heres a bandage!" (puts onto wound)
"Uh, actually, that's not the right brand of bandages!! And the angle isnt' completely correct!!"
I never saw someone cry so easily, poor girl
Karen being the complete opposite of a Karen was interesting
Crying so much, that shows she has a good heart. Shes a keeper!
or crazy unstable
Not exactly how that works but OK
tbh her crying so much doesnt seem heathy to me. But i then again I dont know how it feels to be in that situation and crying might be a coping mechanism so she doesnt actually explode.
That makes no sense
@@crystalwu7400 it's healthy to cry so that she can process the situation and reality of things but she's only crying that much because of how the others are acting, she knows it all sucks.

Long time back my coach said, “if you screw up your personal life it’s going to affect your professional life and vice versa”. Boy he is soo true that it applies in every profession.
tbh i think amy's never going to get any less delusional unless she leaves sammy bc him constantly hiding the truth from her and telling her she's perfect isn't helping
No you got it backwards. Amy is crazy and has trained Sammy to never say anything to her subconsciously because any time he does she explodes. The reason they're together are because they're both crazy and their crazyness would never fit a normal person, so they have each other and they protect each other's insaneness.
@@Koselillif I'm not mistaken, Sammy got in trouble with the law. I don't think they are together anymore.
She’s a narcissist. Sammy won’t say anything because he’s scared of her.
The minute any women start to cry, Chef cracks. You can see that heart become exposed.
Chef really is supportive and loving.

Sami should be sued for stealing the waitresses' tips.
What breaks me at Prohibition Grille (among other things) is that if you take a look at the original menu at 47:46 every item sounds incredible! It's honestly astonishing that a chef can fuck that up!
This whole family dynamic can be a very good show. That "stop crying" after Gordon left had me weak.
"if i wanted to babysit, i'd go babysit my granddaughter. she's more fun than you guys." was so unintentionally wholesome (24:47)
It actually was so cute 😂😂❤ that's something my dad would say about his grandkids as well
nothing better than falling asleep to the tones of Gordons voice

I think when the owner cried over rocky Ramsy finally understood riri was perhaps not the brightest but had been blessed with a life that put her in a good enough position to purchase a business on dreams alone, and Im glad he helped her much more gentle than the beginning of the ep with firing him.

You got to bed and think “one episode” and wake up with insomnia - how does that work?
Chappy getting off on making GR wait for him lol
Amy and Sammy... What a psychotic nightmare.
Beside they're the Zionists' problem now
The one small thing for me about Chappy's is, let the man have his funky pants. Like. You homogenized his restaurant and menu, at least let him have his personality where it can't hurt the place 😂
what always strikes me is why none of these kitchen staff labels food and nothing is dated :( that's raelly the abc of working in a kitchen
I back Gordon 100%,, so many people think he’s an asshole… he’s no asshole,, he has a good heart,, it takes one to know one.
