Nice video. Not being critical, but the small indentations that can be left by metal pry tools on plastic trim, can be eliminated by using a stiff, plastic pry tool. Harbor Freight, Amazon, etc. Keeps a finicky clientele happy.

Welp, it's time to reglue them again and I've forgotten the procedure to remove the door panels...🙄 So I watched again. This time I'm scraping off the foam, and I'm going to use contact cement or whatever the upholstery professionals use here on youtube - need to rewatch their stuff too, obviously...
Clicked on this video to learn how the door panel comes off. The door ajar switch can be turned off in most cases without replacing the switch. Soak the latch assembly down with WD 40. Let soak though for a couple of minutes. Then open and close the door a few times. Light should go off. The switch sticks in the open position. When I worked as a tech we charged an hour to fix that. Never had one that didn't turn off.
