Thanks for the video. I have a 2006 that I have to do this to. I'm a mechanic and have never been good at body work or stuff like this but I am going to give it a try. I think you did a great job.

Thanks very good video. Like you said you have to replace the old material with new. I had never did this before and got some 3M glue from Napa and tried to glue my old one before, I seen your video. And it was just like you said the panel stayed up for about 3 weeks. But where I live it gets very hot and in 3 weeks it came back off. So I will be buying some new material and doing it over again. I only wish I would have seen this before I tried to reinstall the old material. I could have save myself alot of extra time. Thanks again for the advice of buying new material.
Hello Sir, This is a fantastic video. What kind of adhesive did you use for this? Can you make suggestions for what brand and type works best for this job? We just got a 2005 Mustang and the door panels are lifting around the edges so this is something we need to do and only want to do it once.
Very good video. I've watched several but yours gives me the most confidence with doing it myself. You explain things so well. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
You make it look so easy.. seriously doubt mine would come out that good if i tried.. no idea what to get or where to order it.. i tried regluing mine with weldwood contact cement & it looks like shit.. how much if i mail you my door panels for you to redoo them lol
@@mecaupholsterytips Thanks! I will look into it.. I was thinking about using a spray can glue like 3m headliner & fabric adhesive or 3m super 90. Do you think thats tough enough glue for a sturdy long term hold? Appreciate your help.. looks like very professional work you do.
@@nathanhass the right glue for doors panel is "Landau glue top and trim dont use 3m spray it will look good for a couple of week bu after that will come undone spray glue is not good for headliner or doors panerl
Most of the material I buy from Veteran Upholstery supplies in Los Angeles CA. And keystone Bros . Keystone is a big company they have so many location in the United States
I can tell you take pride in your work 👍 You did an excellent job 👍
I appreciate that you suggested against just re-gluing it and are honest with the customer. Don’t see that much anymore

Don't use that 3M glue. Because it will happen the same team again... Use this glue LANDAU TOP AND TRIM. This one is the right glue to use..
