  • Traditionally, Korean ginseng chicken soup is eaten in hot summer days in Korea.
    The Korean Summer is usually hot and humid, so people tend to lose appetite, and their energy.
    So some stamina giving food, like a ginseng soup, are much in demand, as we believe ginseng boosts energy levels.
    I found that this soup is just right for the British Winter.
    Unlike a Korean cold day, the Winter is awfully wet, dark and very long here in the UK.
    The nourishing chicken soup, with ginseng infused rice will keep our body warm and nourished.
    I make this soup when my family catches a cold, instead of the traditional regular chicken soup eaten here in the West.

    How many minutes to cook the chicken with soup

      Hi, I boiled with medium heat for 20mins at first. Then reduce to lowest and simmer for another 40mins. 😀

    *The one thing about this dish that always bothered me is that the skin looks the same coming out as it did going in:RAW*
