Am I incorrect that it only outputs to OBS in 1080p? USB Output in the manual seems to indicate this. all those other throughputs are to a monitor via the hdmi out.
My question....can you show both HDMI inputs at the same time in the same scene in OBS? I currently have an ATEM Mini and it allows 4 devices to be plugged in. Unfortunately, you can not put HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 device on the screen at the same time (outside the ATEM's very basic built in PIP option). I want to build an OBS scene where my gameplay (plugged in to HDMI 1) takes up most of my screen, while I also show a small face cam (plugged in to HDMI 2's slot). Is this possible or do I have to plug my camera in separately somehow to have both showing at the same time using the Bridgecast X?
Can you make a video on importing sounds to the pads? Anytime I add a new sound it overwrites all the previous pads and they all end up with the same sound.
Hey I'm soooo lost 😅 could you please help? 🙏🏼 What would you recommend for a streamer/audio noob? My priorities are: 1) something that works with a USB mic hyperx quadcast S 2) easy software for rerouting 3) something that works with voicemod/soundboards 4)something pretty that doesn't look over complicated i.e colour customisable. I currently have a streamdeck xl too if that makes a difference. I would love to see a content creator do some audio mixers suggestions for average noob streamers like me that have usb mics (I'm sure a lot of us do). Always appreciate your videos though 🫶🏼☺️
If you have the Hyper X already, just get Steelseries sonar I made a video a few weeks ago about seperating audio sources, start there. USB mics don’t need mixers and it’s a waste to buy a mixer for a USB mic.
Quick question if I may. Did you record something with the capture card and if so, can you tell me if the quality is better than your last capture card? I tried the EVGA XR1 Pro and the Tuf CU4K30 and the performance is meh at 4k ( normal) good at 2k, alright at 1080p (which surprised me).
Can you do a video for mobile streamers who wanna use a pc for OBS and overlays but go over how to get audio from your mobile device and pc through one headset?
Thanks for your video, i've just buyed this table, but i'm facing a major problem with the submix function : i cannot control my stream mix with the table and listen my personal mix in my headphone, the table only allow one mix at a time... as soon i select the stream mix on the table to control it, the Bridge cast also send the stream mix to my headphones, and more problematic : to my line out speakers, creating a big larsen (of course, i send my MIC 100% to my stream mix, but not to my personal mix)... very problematic :(
how did u manage to get the HDMI thru to obs can u make a video about going more in depth with the capture card aspect because I'm having trouble pls and thank u
@@StreamScheme I did and I did exactly what they said. I even watched the video they have, but when I connect it OBS reads it, I see it in the options and I make sure I select it, but OBS doesn't show any picture when I set it up, and when I change the source it shows in my monitor. I don't understand.
So the one issue I have is that it doesn't have routing options like the GoXLR to be able to have my system, mic and music route to Chat without them hearing an echo. I have had to set up a Discord audio source swap hotkey on my streamdeck in order to swap it out when I go from stream mix to personal mix. I used to be able to do that with one button on the GoXLR and although I will never go back to the GoXLR it would be amazing to have similar routing.,
Hey, so this isn’t true :) I have fully routed everything easily, and have zero issues. Literally game, system, discord, music, mic, etc are all both in the stream mix but also all recorded individually from my streams. It’s all perfectly split, better than my GoXLR as well thanks to submixing being built in. This sounds like you’re not setting up your device properly.
@@StreamScheme I LOVE my Bridgecast...do not get me wrong. Had it since it came out since the TC-Helicon folks were way less than helpful when I got Win11 and claimed I didn't need a new driver. So trust me ... good riddens. What I do is this: I have everything routed into my stream mix: Game, System, Music, Discord (chat), Mic. All works AMAZING!! No issues. Where I have a problem is what I want Chat to hear and muting quickly. My personal mix has everything routed the same way. But chat ends up hearing an echo since I need them to hear all the system and music audio. I run boxing events in game and need them to hear the bell and other clips. Which is the stream mix. And I also need to mute everything to speak with them off stream (which I use the personal mix for) but the minute I do that...they hear an echo. So I've had to set up a Discord source switch on my stream deck. But, I have to go back to manually click on the Mute or unmute chat icon on the Bridgecast. It's just one little routing issue that I have not been able to figure out.
Technically no, but likely you are a beginner with not much experience projecting your voice as a performance, so you'll be quieter, and need to lift the gain more, raising the noise floor. Same issue with the Rode, and GOXLR, so I do still recommend a Cloudlifter to help get the balance right.
Im getting drops of audio and a bit of crackling noises on the bridgecast x , tried changing the bitrate even reinstalled the drivers but still the same . Any help on how to sort it ?
please help? What would you recommend for a streamer/ do i need to get the big one x My priorities are: 1) Something that works with a shure sm7b 2) easy software 3) usb Cam elgato facecam pro 4) beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm I currently have a streamdeck xl too if that makes a difference.
Hello Stream Scheme, like the other i have a question. Im going to replace my GOXlR with Roland an di ve a PS5 too. Could u show us all, how can we connecting a PC and PS5 with Roland Bridge Cast X ? Thanks in Advice.
Can I program one of the buttons to on the fly switch one of the hardware channels for monitoring? For instance, I press it and it switches the Aux channel to say my Music or Browser channel? So I can then adjust the volume for both me and my stream then press the button to switch back to Aux or whatever I had there?
Unsure what they mean, I split everything on the BCX for recording. I have: Stream mix - every audio source mixed on track 1 for stream Solo mic - track 2 Solo game - track 3 Solo discord - track 4 Solo chrome - track 5 (for music) Solo hdmi - track 6 (console capture audio) Stream gets everything, and I get 5 solo tracks in my recording,
@@StreamScheme that’s nice to hear. Yeah I seen a lot of Reddit posts saying you can’t separate them, as you have to select just Stream. They might not have everything connected just right or the drivers installed I’m assuming.
Only one at a time unfortunately however you can have both connected to the device then use the hdmi to switch between them. Ergo I'd rather use it for my camera and use me EVGA XLR lite so capture my console.
So for the capture card portion, I play in 1440p120hz on my PS5, would I be able to use the capture card to stream/record in 1080p60, while outputting 1440p120 to play at? Or would I be forced to run my ps5 at 1080p
I bought the Roland Bridgecast because of your review on it and I LOVE IT! My only problem is that I am having trouble getting it set up in OBS. For some reason, the knobs do absolutely nothing to effect the volume in obs. Switching between stream mode and personal doesn’t allow me to control the output to stream. Any idea what I could be screwing up?
It sounds like you’re not setting it up correctly. The Knobs don’t effect the OBS sliders, they change the channels in the BridgeCast app, and you route apps in the sound settings to those channels. So you’d go to sound settings > apps > chrome > route to BridgeCast music And you do that with all the apps, and then you add You’d also make sure you have the knobs set to each channel you want to control with the drop down under it. Then go to global audio sources in OBS? And send BridgeCast stream mix to OBS.
Oh yep that fixed things! I had my USB OUT MODE within the Bridgecast software set to Mic instead of Stream Mix smh. Also followed your "Seperate game, Music, Discord audio in OBS" video and now I'm all set. I can't thank you enough!
Sonar is a virtual mixer :) it’s designed to do digital what a physical mixer does. You don’t need both, but sonar obviously can’t do everything a physical one can.
I'm still having trouble with my Bridge Cast X I now have the game showing on my second monitor and sound coming through in Streamlabs but I still can't get any video in Streamlabs from my Bridge Cast X
I likely can’t troubleshoot through UA-cam comments, if you set it up as the support documentation shows it’s pretty straight forward. Otherwise contacting Roland customer support is the next step.
Hey buddy, I recently got this product. When i set it up and give it a firmware update. It disabled the entire physical interface. I cannot adjust or press any buttons on there now. Everything was fine out of the box. This's the second time this's happened now, i returned the old one for the same reason. Have you experienced this? For reference it came out of the box and worked at firmware 0.00 now its on 1.06. Every time i power it on the only light that turns on is the power and it just blinks.
I factory reset mine, and went from scratch as you said, it’s updated firmware totally fine, and it’s working. Have you tried contacting support to see if they can walk you through? It might be your USB is losing power midway through, causing the issue, I know that’s a really important catch.
@@BrandNameEntertainment Did you solve your problem? I had the same problem. Seems that I can just use usb c to usb c ports. That was my problem all along.
I’m just looking for a mixer to split my music from my stream vods I see there is a Roland without the 6 buttons on the right for 200$ less would that one still work?
You don’t really need a mixer for that, you can just use Twitch VoD track. Please be aware though, splitting music won’t protect you from copyright strikes.
I want to use IEMs with the roland bridgecast but the output impedance is around 10 do you know if connecting a low impedance amp to the line out would help alleviate this issue?
You can try it. You can connect headphone out to any amp you want (that's why it's so low), line out is more for speakers or hooking up to another mixer, hifi speaker systems or audio interface
Pretty good video, now for the task of finding and affording one. I went to the linked site but no luck finding a price or place tp buy and Google finds me one at a random site over $400...not that I wouldn't be able to afford one at that price but I was hoping roland sold and shipped directly. I do own a elgato streamdeck but having something that handles audio and/or video would be great.
I just got my Bridge Cast X but the firmware is on 0.00 (00) and I can update it I keep getting an error "update failed the transmission of all data was not completed" what should I do?
Sorry, noob question but does this mean we can finally split console audio from desktop audio? As of right now with streaming on console with a capture card to obs.. discord, steam, desktop audio, all gets jumbled together. With no way to adjust individually
How u setup the Roland Bridge Cast for Obs ? I cant put Filter in OBS to the Mic becaus the other sounds Like musik and Gaming affecte to the filter pls help me :c
You don't need to add filters in OBS, the Bridgecast has it all built in, you change it in the Bridgecast app. That's why you use a professional mixer for audio :)
Not all dacs Smth like the fiio k5 pro Which has rca input you can connect with rca to 3.5mm Roland bridgecast x headphone jack to fiio k5 pro rca input
Was using NDI for everything. Sadly after Updates and Updates I run into Audio Desyncs constantly.. Saw this Little Guy.. saw this Video.. and bought it. Hope it will not dissapoint xD
I wanna get the Bridgecast but I also want a sampler to go with it without getting a GoXLR (cause I want all the features that come with a Bridgecast) does anyone have any ideas for samplers?.....
Personally I really wanted a sampler as well, but after the first week you’ll stop using it most likely And anything you keep using could’ve just been a programmed button or hotkeh
Two inputs, one output at a time. Imagine switching between two consoles or two cameras, not having them going at the same time. Could be possibly in the future though. I can ask.
A GoXLR costs 800+AUD still and doesn’t have any built in capture, or Submixing. So you’d have to spend another few hundred for a capture card breaking 1000AUD. The original BridgeCast is under 350AUD and does everything the original goxlr does and more. If you compare it to the market, the price doesn’t seem as bad.
Indeed. The streamer X is $530 AUD and has the same functionality (when it works). If this product was priced between $500 AUD and $600 AUD would be competitive but as of now, it’s not.
I can’t really agree that the Streamer X Is the same. Yes, it captures a mic and a console, but it barely qualifies as a physical mixer and audio interface. I can’t control all my sources at my finger tips easily with it, sure unify exists but again it’s software mixing. That’s why it’s so much cheaper, it is limited. I’ve got both, as well as the GoXLR, RCPII, etc and it feels disingenuous to put the streamer x in the same category as say a GoXLR or bridgecast.
For the price they could have helped us all by making it more simple to use. I had the same problem. I just figured it out how to power the interface (min is working only from a data transfer usb-c cable to usb-c port.
@@StreamScheme lmao it is what it is! Ive been loving my bridgecast anyways since ive gotten it so thanks for your info! I suppose i can just use the stream deck in place for those extra buttons 🤷♂️
If you want a physical mixer and touchpad, that also lets you control the capture cards audio with a knob then yes. Sorry I don’t understand the question, genuinely. The device does what a capture card does and more pretty heavily, if you need what’s discussed in the video, then there ya go.
So my stream setup is my Xbox through a legato hd60x capture card to my laptop. I am using slobs but considering moving to obs. Just gotta stop being lazy and do it. So I guess I'm asking would this replace my capture card currently. So I could plus my Xbox to the mixer then to the laptop and stream that way?
Maaaannn. This ALMOST checked all my boxes. I just wish it had 4k 120hz passthrough. Unless im reading it wrong. It only does 60hz. I know im probably just being a snob. But if my ps5 is pushing 120. I WANT the 120. Lol. But looks like a solid piece of equipment. Thanks for the review. You're the man!
HDMI IN/ THRU Formats for 4K are 100hz, direct copy and paste from their spec sheet below - 1920 x 1080/240 Hz 2560 x 1080/144 Hz 2560 x 1440/144 Hz 3440 x 1440/100 Hz Personally, I had zero issues, I've never felt the need to go higher than that, as most can't actually tell a difference, but I know people like to pixel peep.
isn't 4k 3840 x 2160 though? From what it's saying from the spec sheet on the link it only supports these frame rates at that resolution. 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 30p, 50p, 59.94p, 60p (CTA-861-F). Like you said though. The difference is probably minimal at best. Take care pimp.
If you are using a PS5, plug your hdmi directly into your monitor and use remote play on your pc and use window capture in obs. No capture card or weird audio hookup required.
@@StreamSchemeon the fence on either two. I still wondered tho what is the usb input used for? Like can I add my zoom l20r into the darn thing and control the output volume from it.
It’s not for everyone, not saying it is, but it adds full HDMI capture, and full physical audio control for that capture which is genuinely massive and not many options out there to do that. Touch pads are a huge addition, and generally it’s just a big step up. Think about it like this The BridgeCast is a mixer, so you need to capture card and a stream deck if you want to capture consoles and use advanced hotkeys. The BGCX is a mixer, capture card, and touch pad system all in one. Again not for everyone but I love it, and I’ve removed my capture card system that was causing major issues in my audio setup, and barely use my streamdeck now.
@@StreamScheme so what if you have a dslr and a console? You have to choose one or another? And basically forced to use a cmlink type capture card anyway?
Yep, I understand people would love it all be in one, but even the Elgato pcie card can’t do that nicely (or give physical control.) Again, it’s not for everyone, but the price increase makes sense when it’s taking 3 pieces of gear and combining them (while still being cheaper than a GoXLR).
I just got my Bridge cast X and I can't get it to work well with the Xbox series x. The video capture is limited to 1080p 60hz. But the USB Output doesn't allow me to use the passthrough at 120hz.
sure, but when streaming the last thing you want to do, if it can be avoided, is mess with software. Tactile hardware is soooo much more convenient and efficient. Sliders and nobs save a lot of time when playing and streaming at the same time. No alt tab or "windows/key" overlays etc to get out of the game to make an adjustment. Just my point of view my friend.
Virtual mixers are great for beginners, but genuinely can’t compare to a physical interface like this. It’s not needed for hobbyists or beginner creators, but it’s amazing for someone like me creating hours on end every day.
still, sonar for free is hard to beat. I played with it a bit myself and had there been a way for me to use it with my min go xlr I would have. Time for a upgrade and it may be this. I love the AIO option even though right now I have no need for a capture card.@@HubbzGaming
If you look at it alone, it seems steep but you have to remember that a GoXLR, Rodeprocaster 2, and most mixers currently out there cost more than that. And they DON’T also have a capture card built into them.

2) easy software for rerouting
3) something that works with voicemod/soundboards
4)something pretty that doesn't look over complicated i.e colour customisable.
P.s - I've been trying to use voice meeter potato but I'm thinking having physical hardware will simply things for me 🤞🏼
@@StreamScheme thank you so much for replying, I'll be sure to check that out!! 💜
All switch footage in this is from the card.
Does this have mic monitoring with added effects or is the mic monitor your voice before it goes through your filters like noise suppression and such?
It had mic monitoring, mic monitoring in voice effects, and the mic monitor you hear is what viewers hear so that’s after all your edits.
Can you do a video for mobile streamers who wanna use a pc for OBS and overlays but go over how to get audio from your mobile device and pc through one headset?
Thanks for your video, i've just buyed this table, but i'm facing a major problem with the submix function : i cannot control my stream mix with the table and listen my personal mix in my headphone, the table only allow one mix at a time... as soon i select the stream mix on the table to control it, the Bridge cast also send the stream mix to my headphones, and more problematic : to my line out speakers, creating a big larsen (of course, i send my MIC 100% to my stream mix, but not to my personal mix)... very problematic :(
Sounds like you’ve got the routing setup wrong, I’d go through Roland’s support and setup documentation
Amazing tech and funny review! Can this work with live music being routed from separate interface or mixer?
how did u manage to get the HDMI thru to obs can u make a video about going more in depth with the capture card aspect because I'm having trouble pls and thank u
Hey! I’d go to Roland’s website and read the manual they have for the Bridgecast X it is REALLY thorough and detailed
@@StreamScheme I did and I did exactly what they said. I even watched the video they have, but when I connect it OBS reads it, I see it in the options and I make sure I select it, but OBS doesn't show any picture when I set it up, and when I change the source it shows in my monitor. I don't understand.
Do you have a how to setup video
What I do is this:
I have everything routed into my stream mix: Game, System, Music, Discord (chat), Mic.
I can't believe this is real. This is a huge game changer.
Did the price change again? I saw a higher price around the time of this video
If I would buy a sm7b and connect it to the Roland bridge cast. Do I still need a cloudlifter?
Technically no, but likely you are a beginner with not much experience projecting your voice as a performance, so you'll be quieter, and need to lift the gain more, raising the noise floor.
Same issue with the Rode, and GOXLR, so I do still recommend a Cloudlifter to help get the balance right.
Im getting drops of audio and a bit of crackling noises on the bridgecast x , tried changing the bitrate even reinstalled the drivers but still the same . Any help on how to sort it ?
Can i use a usb c mic?
How do you connect your hdmi bro got my bridge cast x today 😊
please help?
What would you recommend for a streamer/ do i need to get the big one x
My priorities are:
1) Something that works with a shure sm7b
2) easy software
3) usb Cam elgato facecam pro
4) beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm
I currently have a streamdeck xl too if that makes a difference.
did you already buy the shure sm7b?
yes

At 3:48, what type of file did you say?
Does anyone know if the audio drivers for this have the enhancement tab with the loudness EQ option?
What about this comparison to stream deck plus
Hello Stream Scheme,
like the other i have a question. Im going to replace my GOXlR with Roland an di ve a PS5 too.
Could u show us all, how can we connecting a PC and PS5 with Roland Bridge Cast X ?
Thanks in Advice.
As far as I know you just plug the HDMI in and select the resolution
I don’t own a PlayStation 5
Can I program one of the buttons to on the fly switch one of the hardware channels for monitoring? For instance, I press it and it switches the Aux channel to say my Music or Browser channel? So I can then adjust the volume for both me and my stream then press the button to switch back to Aux or whatever I had there?
I see people are claiming you can’t separate the channels in OBS, for recording and controlling them individually. Is this true with the BCX?
Unsure what they mean, I split everything on the BCX for recording.
I have:
Stream mix - every audio source mixed on track 1 for stream
Solo mic - track 2
Solo game - track 3
Solo discord - track 4
Solo chrome - track 5 (for music)
Solo hdmi - track 6 (console capture audio)
Stream gets everything, and I get 5 solo tracks in my recording,
@@StreamScheme that’s nice to hear. Yeah I seen a lot of Reddit posts saying you can’t separate them, as you have to select just Stream. They might not have everything connected just right or the drivers installed I’m assuming.
They likely just don’t know how to app route lol it’s a basic step for any mixer
Can you use a camera and a console at the same time or is it just one HDMI input at a time?
So you’d go to sound settings > apps > chrome > route to BridgeCast music
And you do that with all the apps, and then you add
You’d also make sure you have the knobs set to each channel you want to control with the drop down under it.
Been very tempted by the Elgato HD60X and the GoXLR recently and this is waaay better. It's everything I want and more...
Will I be able to stream Switch game and have my DSLR Cam on at the same time?
Do you use Sonar and the bridge cast or does this pretty much elimitate Sonar?
Sonar is a virtual mixer :) it’s designed to do digital what a physical mixer does.
You don’t need both, but sonar obviously can’t do everything a physical one can.
I'm still having trouble with my Bridge Cast X I now have the game showing on my second monitor and sound coming through in Streamlabs but I still can't get any video in Streamlabs from my Bridge Cast X
I likely can’t troubleshoot through UA-cam comments, if you set it up as the support documentation shows it’s pretty straight forward.
Otherwise contacting Roland customer support is the next step.
Would it be safe to say that if I'm using a Yeti, this isn't for me as I wouldn't be able to have individual control of my mic since it's not XLR?
Correct, use my video on separate audio sources from a few weeks ago, it’s a digital version of this.
so with your ps5 connected to it can you use your xlr mic for voice chat on the console?
No it’s a capture card to bring the console audio to OBS, to control that physically.
No issues here, I just follow the instructions and works great. Never heard anyone having this issue either.
@StreamScheme Trust me, I've followed it to a tee. Very unfortunate.
I factory reset mine, and went from scratch as you said, it’s updated firmware totally fine, and it’s working.
Have you tried contacting support to see if they can walk you through?
It might be your USB is losing power midway through, causing the issue, I know that’s a really important catch.
@@StreamScheme USB Cables fine. I sent a report but couldn't find a customer support number. If you know that would be helpful.
Stream Deck support?
Pretty good video, now for the task of finding and affording one. I went to the linked site but no luck finding a price or place tp buy and Google finds me one at a random site over $400...not that I wouldn't be able to afford one at that price but I was hoping roland sold and shipped directly. I do own a elgato streamdeck but having something that handles audio and/or video would be great.
An Engadget article says it's coming out in US in February for $500 US.
ooh ok, thanks!
I just got my Bridge Cast X but the firmware is on 0.00 (00) and I can update it I keep getting an error "update failed the transmission of all data was not completed" what should I do?
Contact support :) or read their support website.
It sounds like you’re just making a mistake and they’ll walk you through it
Sorry, noob question but does this mean we can finally split console audio from desktop audio? As of right now with streaming on console with a capture card to obs.. discord, steam, desktop audio, all gets jumbled together. With no way to adjust individually
Yes :) HDMI or in this case console audio is its own virtual channel on the BridgeCast X, so it can be its own sound source
@@StreamScheme oh man, that is worth it in of itself aha. Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it! :)
Hey new to UA-cam do you offer consultations on set ups?
How u setup the Roland Bridge Cast for Obs ? I cant put Filter in OBS to the Mic becaus the other sounds Like musik and Gaming affecte to the filter pls help me :c
You don't need to add filters in OBS, the Bridgecast has it all built in, you change it in the Bridgecast app. That's why you use a professional mixer for audio :)
Is it possible to hook up a DAC with the Bridgecast X?
Not all dacs
Smth like the fiio k5 pro
Which has rca input you can connect with rca to 3.5mm
Roland bridgecast x headphone jack to fiio k5 pro rca input
what mic works bets with this mixer
Any really, but I always recommend the Samson Q2u no matter what.
Personally I really wanted a sampler as well, but after the first week you’ll stop using it most likely
And anything you keep using could’ve just been a programmed button or hotkeh
does it have 2 capture card?
Two inputs, one output at a time. Imagine switching between two consoles or two cameras, not having them going at the same time.
Could be possibly in the future though. I can ask.
aww man, was hopping i could eliminate the use of external capture card entirely@@StreamScheme
How do you turn it on?
Unplug it but I’ve never had to turn it off
If only it could output 1440p @120 hz or 4k 60 , I’m sure that would come with a price jump though
Hi, it's not available on Amazon AU and the other Australians retailers charge from $799 to $899. It's not worth the price
I’ve got both, as well as the GoXLR, RCPII, etc and it feels disingenuous to put the streamer x in the same category as say a GoXLR or bridgecast.
comes up as unavailable for me in brisbane. hopefully it’s just out of stock!
It’s just been announced a 12 hours ago! Still being sorted out!
Bro I need help setting The bridge cast up lol😊
Could this support 2 microphones? 🤔
Just 1 XLR input.
Great video! I thought it was going to be my answer at the around $250 USD but I see in has doubled in price to $499USD in just a couple months. 🤯
anyone else having a problem with recording games from PS5/Switch/Xbox. i can only get it to run at 640x480p in OBS
That sounds like you’re using the wrong cable, not the one they supply with it. Or you’ve plugged the cables in wrong.
For the price they could have helped us all by making it more simple to use. I had the same problem. I just figured it out how to power the interface (min is working only from a data transfer usb-c cable to usb-c port.
A NEW ONE? I just got the last one you made a vid about 😔
I know! This rocked up a bit after my last video went out, and I was kicking myself
@@StreamScheme lmao it is what it is! Ive been loving my bridgecast anyways since ive gotten it so thanks for your info! I suppose i can just use the stream deck in place for those extra buttons 🤷♂️
ok So i stream with a elgato HD60x does this replace my capture card?
HDMI IN/ THRU Formats for 4K are 100hz, direct copy and paste from their spec sheet below -
1920 x 1080/240 Hz
2560 x 1080/144 Hz
2560 x 1440/144 Hz
3440 x 1440/100 Hz
Personally, I had zero issues, I've never felt the need to go higher than that, as most can't actually tell a difference, but I know people like to pixel peep.
isn't 4k 3840 x 2160 though? From what it's saying from the spec sheet on the link it only supports these frame rates at that resolution. 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 30p, 50p, 59.94p, 60p (CTA-861-F). Like you said though. The difference is probably minimal at best. Take care pimp.
Good catch, i probably shouldn’t try read specs after being up all night with a baby hahaha
If you are using a PS5, plug your hdmi directly into your monitor and use remote play on your pc and use window capture in obs. No capture card or weird audio hookup required.
If only you can connect both the hdmi camera and console and send both signals to OBS. That would be the ultimate device for streamers.
This or mackie mainstage?
Still testing the Mackie
@@StreamSchemeon the fence on either two. I still wondered tho what is the usb input used for?
Like can I add my zoom l20r into the darn thing and control the output volume from it.
Its more than double the price of the Bridge cast maybe if it were only $50 more but that seems ridiculous....
ok so its a capture card too but still think thats a huge jump between the 2....
It’s not for everyone, not saying it is, but it adds full HDMI capture, and full physical audio control for that capture which is genuinely massive and not many options out there to do that.
Touch pads are a huge addition, and generally it’s just a big step up.
Think about it like this
The BridgeCast is a mixer, so you need to capture card and a stream deck if you want to capture consoles and use advanced hotkeys.
Yep, I understand people would love it all be in one, but even the Elgato pcie card can’t do that nicely (or give physical control.)
Again, it’s not for everyone, but the price increase makes sense when it’s taking 3 pieces of gear and combining them (while still being cheaper than a GoXLR).
I just got my Bridge cast X and I can't get it to work well with the Xbox series x. The video capture is limited to 1080p 60hz. But the USB Output doesn't allow me to use the passthrough at 120hz.
combined use products have always been a bad idea. If, say, the mixer dies and needs a repair you lose your capture card as well when you send it off.
roland products have a 2 year plus warranty
I like the steel series sonar it gives me the same vibe but for free 😅
sure, but when streaming the last thing you want to do, if it can be avoided, is mess with software.
I agree with you guys I plan to use one soon when I can have the money for it but for now the sonar that u made a video on is my best friend 😂
still, sonar for free is hard to beat. I played with it a bit myself and had there been a way for me to use it with my min go xlr I would have. Time for a upgrade and it may be this. I love the AIO option even though right now I have no need for a capture card.@@HubbzGaming
If I could use it with usb mic I would buy
That defeats the purpose?
899.00 what
If you look at it alone, it seems steep but you have to remember that a GoXLR, Rodeprocaster 2, and most mixers currently out there cost more than that.
And they DON’T also have a capture card built into them.
can you help me i have be struggling to make followers and i try to look at your videos but i dont get it
