Do not push the brake pedal, push the start button to start fuel pump, wait 3 seconds, push start button to turn off power, push start button again to start fuel pump, wait 3 seconds, press the brake and hold, then press the start button to start the jeep. Works for me.
I’m having a similar with my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Has long cranks but It’s not consistent. But always starts fine with auto start, I’ve brought it to my mechanic twice and of course it decides it doesn’t want to do it for him
I liked this vehicle a lot it’s like my dream car but why did you get rid of you any major problems and how many miles did you have on it and did you give it hell and how did it act if you did drive the ball off of it beside the push to start that’s not a biggie for me I like using the key anyhow
I'm having this issue since 2 years, It happens with me sometimes not all the time, you can say once per two weeks or once a month, the good thing engine was turning on from the second attempt, but right now while I'm typing these words, the engine is clicking but won't start.
You don't think you can break this you say? Well, I did, and I'm pretty mad about it lmaoo, have to order another one online and pry out the old one because half of it is stuck in the ignition
Not a good solution to use key if you bought the car with a push button option. Also, this video shows it is good to practice your speech before making the video. There is too much stumbling before getting to the points.
Gary, when you push the button to start and it continually turns over without starting, this is a good way to control that. I’m no pro at talking whatsoever, so that’s why there’s stumbling.
U a life saver wow this just happened to me I was going crazy

My 2012 will just sit there and crank like 3 or 4 times and randomly does it. I have to use the key just like you say.
