One of your videos appeared in my youtube selection list recently. A sailing video might be a good change from the northern hemisphere carnage. Now I'm hooked. Reminds me of how much I enjoyed reading Swallows and Amazons as a kid more than a half century ago.
The reflections on the water were just incredible! You are really becoming an artist with your videography on the water. It was nice to see the ladies on the water too. Thanks for sharing and as always Cheers Paul!! ⛵⛵⛵.
What a glorious piece of film making. Beautiful clear water and pretty boats. The Caledonian Yawl especially attractive. What fun this looks even in the rain
Thank you very much! for watching Caroline. Yes we had fun and we are doing it all again this weekend at Lake Macquarie and it looks like it's going to rain again....oh well, cheers Paul
In the past sailed my enterprise on lake Ullswater UK.Your videos are making me want to up size .Your very good at what you do, relax with Paul, great for mental health
Sorry the You tube editor doesn't let you take out a section, so you have to upload the whole thing again. But it was worth a second look eh? cheers Paul
God I love your videos. Just heard you on the nanocruising podcast too! Writing from my 20 foot, Gaf rigged, British made Blockley Privateer, which I lovingly like to call my dinghy with a lid. From Tampa Bay, Florida, USA.
I want to congratulate you. I've always considered sailing outside of my means. I visited the Gold Coast when I was a teenager with family; but now, I have a new bucket list. Pocket cruisers/trailer sailers are so cheap, that If I'm ever able to revisit your country. I'll be planning to snag a functional boat to sail, then sell it again when I leave. Until then, keep at it, your content is relaxing and fun to watch.
Holaaa!
Bea scenery shot with whst has become a practiced eye thanks Paul. Just an aside noting the name of just add water when I bought my littke cuddy 2p plus years ago it was named Jack Daniel's which I thought a bit much and contemplated changing but my buddy convinced me to add just add wayer below the Jack Daniel's I get a lot of positive comments on it . Thanks again for the post cheers
Great video. Shame about the wet weather. That was a nice looking cottage pie. Recipe please... Great looking kitchen in a box your friend made, though your kitchen setup on your boat looks pretty good also. Keith titanium pot? Cheers
Vegetarian cottage pie: lentils, onions, chic peas, green peas, carrots, red kidney beans, large tin tomatoes, seasoning, made into a sort of Bolognaise sauce. Not sure what Trevor's pot was made from. Thanks for watching, cheers Paul
Ahh yes, this one does not include the little fire system onboard to keep warm. It makes sense after a 2nd thought to remove it for safety reasons. I recall you had been clear to advise it never be left unattended.
Hi everyone on this trip, If you watch this on your phone or maybe on your computer you can take pictures of the screenshot and then they go to your picture folder and there you have then for ever.
Hi, well when we started they were dinghies, but now more seem to be getting bigger plastic boats. But no rules about having fun in a group. Thanks for watching, cheers Paul
I can’t tell what you revised, but it was still a good video the second time around!! It’s hard for me to imagine you guys are in the middle of winter when it’s about 1000 degrees here in Florida right now. Lol. I’m guessing there aren’t any crocs in that lake.
No crocs or sharks and rarely dolphins as it's about 14kms from the ocean and not many fish. Removed tealight flowerpot heater as they can be dangerous and the Nis Sharpie 23 is, Norwalk not Norfolk...my bad, cheers Paul
@@SailingKateLouise oh yes, I remember the tea light heater from the first one. I have watched most of your videos at least twice so it gave me an excuse to watch this one again.
Hi, a question for you. What would a good 18 - to 20-foot sailboat to build. Have looked at a caribou 6m and like most of design. I like the shape. I can't find anything else and wondered if you know of plans for something similar. Love your channel.
Well I suppose it's where you are in the world and what sort of sailing you want to do . If you want to go off shore your requirements are different from lakes an estuaries. My preference with a small cabin in timber would obviously be the Stornaway 18, followed by the Ian Oughtred Pathfinder. Open boat would be a Fulmar, Navigator or Whaler, Drascombe Longboat and also it depends on whether you are intending to build or buy. Thanks for watching , cheers Paul
Thanks for sharing Paul. There's something very satisfying about ghosting along on a glasslike surface! Glad you got a little sunshine with that rain.
Thanks Tim yes it turned out to be a great few days. Thanks again for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, cheers Paul
wonderful videos. Watch to relax and inspire. Thanks

Egg in the hole ... in butter . yolk still runny . Salt and Course ground pepper . Food of the gods .
You're the second person to suggest that and I've never done it but I will give it a go next time, cheers Paul
Thanks for sharing your adventure…from East Tennessee.

Wow, thank you! for leaving such a nice comment. We have a lot of laughs and sailing as well, cheers Paul
Loved it the second time round.
Thanks Andy, sorry I felt I had to correct Norwalk from Norfolk and remove the flowerpot heater as they can be dangerous, cheers Paul

Creo que siempre es emocionante dormir en un barco pequeño...es una aventura. Gracias por mirar, saludos Paul.
"Eggy bread" is the answer, 2 or 3 eggs whisked up, soak your bread in the egg, fry with butter, can't go wrong.
Thanks George I'll give it a go, thanks for watching, cheers Paul

Thanks for the memory Paul, and greetings from the "ship of the desert" at Alice springs.
I hope it's not too chilly there, 🤒

Two Large dinghies and some trailer boats. " Come small boat cruising" would be a better phrase.

Surely the corrected inaccuracies didn't include "Deb Potato-- with ONION"...

@@SailingKateLouise In what way "dangerous"?
@@mikeu5380 Well apparently the parrafin vapours can spontaneosly explode around 200c
