If you are changing the Heading in the site styles you are changing all headings around your site, even if you are on the blog page at the time, it will change all headings around your site. The blog header is generally taken from Heading 1. You can change this with some simple CSS code though!
Hello Cat, really enjoy your youtube. Followed your online course using blogs in 7.1 which works like a dream. But now I have the problem of not being able to create blogs that are not linked to my online course ( 7.1) Do you know how I do this and can you create a video to show this work around ?? thank you Steph
Hey! You can add another blog for your blogs that you want to be public. So one public blog and one as your course. You can actually add as many as you like (Pages > Add new Blog). Did that help? :)
@@BigCatCreative I have tried this and it keeps showing up in my online course. Can you create a small youtube as I am sure I am not the only thick dummy out there?
@@StephEdwardsNaturalTherapist You must be putting it inside your Online Course within the Pages panel. So in your sidebar click on Pages. When you click the + to add a new blog, make sure you click + either in the Main Navigation or the Not Linked area, if you click + in the Membership area it will be added to that area. If you have already added it there you should be able to click + drag it out to a different area which will take it out of the course/membership area. Let me know how you go!

Some of us need visuals, as an example in reality, as opposed to the theory points. It would be useful to me to see you create an actual blog.
