During my Hatfield McCoy riding trip I rode tons of single track. But after, I wanted a nice calm street ride so I decided to take the Adventure 990R out for spin. I was having such so much fun that I lost track of time and ended up much farther from home base. I had to bust out the GPS to find my way home and then shower for the next day of Single Track! I've just sold my bike in March and this almost made me cry, I was an idiot for selling it without replacing it with the next one, my dream is to own a 990R or S one day. Thats such a good time in the day to ride, I think it's the best, it just settles everything , that lightning , and combined with the sound of a V twin, makes it for a perfect day. Damn I miss riding....
You have made a collosal mistake my friend! I agree with everything you said. It was so perfect, it was almost hypnotic.
990's are the best. I settled a few years ago on a 1090R just not the same. I like it better that the 1190 or 1290. Looked like a fun ride.
Ive heard good things about 1090s. What dont you like about it?
@@AdventureJeff269 What I don't like about it aren't deal breakers. I'm not a fan of the electronics. It's not as offroad dedicated as tbe 990 (I would say uts close) that is also a good thing because its a 600 mile a day bike.
You ride your adv bike 600 miles a day often? Ive only had 1 or 2 600 miles days on mine that I can recall.
@@AdventureJeff269 If I head to Utah, Colorado NM it will most likely be a 600 mile day. I will do that 2 or three times a year. However often my wife and work will let me. Moab is about 620 miles from where I live.
Man I wish I lived closer! West looks like adventure bike heaven!
