Duals are your ultimate partner but only once you have reached self mastery. Before you’ve done your shadow work and faced your fears, you’ll trigger each other. Your golden pair is good while you are young and helps you work on your shadow, but you will eventually outgrow each other or hold each other back. It all depends on what stage of life you are in for which pairing is best.

ENTP here. Quick question. Based on what you said, I'd assume that if an ENTP developed their ISFJ subconscious first, they'd be at a higher risk of believing in the wrong thing because they're so focused on their duty to current logic that they aren't willing to test it. While those that develop their INTJ shadow first are at a higher risk of believing in nothing because they are so critical of all rational that they don't bother putting their faith into anything. Thoughts?

Ooooh I love this lecture so far. Yes, I can remember as a kid an adult told me that life isn't fair and I responded "that's bc people like YOU make it unfair." I was recently reflecting on the fact that I've always found my INTJ to be very innocent and very moral and that this in large part is due to his pure Fi child, which I am very drawn to (my own morals are a bit lacking/questionable haha). Protecting the innocent and fairness being of utmost importance to this quadra is dead-accurate. I'd never seen my ISFJ mom and my ESFJ grandma go demon mode until their little kids/grandkids were threatened. Animal and child abuse trigger me to a level others often find extreme (offensive even--as I find far too many people would rather not hear the "icky" realities of this world--as if not knowing makes them not true or something) and I rail against these atrocities and always will. Even more minor examples of bullies in the workplace trying to take advantage of newer/milder employees will not be happening on my watch as I find it incredibly distasteful. Very nice lecture. Oh! I just remembered a few months ago we had a work meeting and some people were trying to get extra perks not available to the rest of the team and my ENTP boss got super triggered. My ESFP manager told me after the meeting he thought our boss was nervous and I was like nah dude, he was super pissed but holding it together. People were like why was he so rude in the meeting? Duh, you guys--people were trying to make things unfair. One thing I really appreciate about our boss is that he treats everyone equal bc in his mind (and in mine)--they are. He's all about meritocracy; which is just fantastic (for me; some of the other people literally hate him). These are the same people who stand around socializing instead of doing their work or coasting by on other people's efforts. Oh fuck yeah, all those fad diets that I tried bc I read a book and/or did shoddy research and thought it was going to make me live forever/cure all my health problems. Sigh

Haha interesting hypothesis except....I didn't have a cozy upbringing. There's clearly a lot of info I didn't provide--my SFJs trashed harmonious social and family relationships (which are everything to these types) in order to do the actual right thing by vulnerable people in their care--and far too many people are unwilling to do so, imo. I'm actually very curious to understand how a "cozy upbringing" causes one to care about human and animal atrocities, sentient beings suffering, and about abuses of power--the only things humans SHOULD care about. As in, we're so cozy that now we can afford to care about someone besides ourself? I don't find that to be how people actually behave bc unfortunately, the world would be a lot less fucked up if it were. Do feel free to elaborate on this idea.

The Quran mentioned a tyrant many times. despite that I have a sort of a strange sympathy towards him and he was that person who had been torturing the people of Moses peace be upon him and eventually drowned and assigned be tortured. To be honest this is why I tend to not give enough attention and suck to wealthy people and people of authority. Actually sometimes I feel sympathy towards those in the higher positions and I would like to just give them sufficient chances. I think that is the opposite of what we do. We are always questioning everything & making sure these systems & beliefs hold up to a sound logical framework. My SFP sister was all into muscly footballers and rockers and thought I went for "weedy" guys. But I now know what this was all about. I always knew I liked really sensitive guys, especially lyricists, singers, etc. who spill their hearts and feelings.

What you said in the end was very true for me until my early 20´s, i blindly believed the political and religious systems i grew up with and even arrogantly thought that i´m open minded and willing to listen and debate, while the truth was that i only liked to show them that i´m right (i´m ESFJ)
It only changed when the systems i was so loyal to turned against me the moment i needed it to support me with something that it didn´t see as mainstream, i was hurt and betrayed but it opened my mind to the fact that my ideas need to be challenged in order to prevent me from falling into the wrong beliefs
Everything you said was very true for me, except the part about selling my own kids, my son can commit any crime he wants and i will still protect him, and also other family member and good friends, morality is not my first priority when it comes to the people i love

After 32:28 weaknesses part is very important!!
After watching your cognitive functions video series and learning about Dr. John Bebe's cognitive functions attitudes theory when I started to type people and understand them specially how my own type functions based on cognitive functions , I always felt lke that your cognitive functions explanations are limiting to a certain content and not covers the whole picture even though your explanations were pretty consistent and systematic and type explanations are not the full depth picture.
As a example when you told that Ti is the truth based on True False logical analysis in first video series, you didn't tell how also inaccurate data and information can damage the truth of Ti and even cause to create a lot of wrong illogical believes after analysing subjectively if they put their belief into a wrong system.
I always felt that before because since I was a child I had those types of subjectively analysed illogical believes because I was so immatured and I used to put my belief into wrong sources of data and information and I even analysed a lot of pessimistic potential possibilities shown through Ne and created dozens of illogical may be even exteme believes sometimes.
Now I can apply directly these knowledge to decode wrong illogical believes ,frameworks about how the world works that I used to think after true false analysis of wrong inputs.
    You are right man !!

I am an INTP that was married to an unfaithful ISFJ for 20 years. As a Christian I was hoping for God to restore my marriage. One of the ways I grew was in trying to give space for a change I had to strip the idea of covert contracts from my mind knowing I was not going to get what I deserved and had to do the right things because they were right and expect to reap what I sowed from God and not the other person; that life is fair, but I might not be able to follow the math.

  • @soggyRATUwU

At first when you said that this quadra is all about fairness I disagreed. My mother is an isfj and growing up she treated me very differently from my istp brother (im infp). My parents endowed my brother with more privileges growing up and saw him as responsible. My mom always looked at me in a different light and it was hard for her to put trust in me, part of that was my fault and part of it was hers. So I was confused how my mom could see fairness in treating her children very differently but it is because of how different of people me and my brother are. My mom didnt base her judgments off of "I let one kid do this so its only fair to let the other one" she decided what was fair based upon us as individuals and how she remembers us through her Si. When I was younger I absolutely hated that my mom didnt judge me in the present and would bring up things I did 4+ years ago to prove to me why I was still irresponsible, but because my brother had this perfectly clean slate my mom saw him as super responsible. It ended up being a self fulfilling prophecy and my mom pushed me in my early teenage years to do everything I could to break her limits she put on me.

These are my thoughts for pertaining to all in my Quadra, if there is an error, show me!:
I am a Crusader, therefore I must put my faith in the right thing.
I must put my faith in Reason, for Reason constitutes understanding the order of things.
Reason dictates that faith should only refer to a strong allegiance and not to a disposition without evidence, as evidence is the best indication of truth; the pursuit of which underlies all reason.
Therefore science is the best way of applying reason to the universe around us, as science entails the rigorous scrutiny of evidence in pursuit of what is most likely true.
Therefore it is best to place your faith (faith being strong allegiance) in that for which there is evidence. Otherwise you commit an injustice to yourself and others for not being able to evaluate and understand the fabric of nature, of which you, everything, and everyone are a part; If you are disharmonious with the universe, you cannot make it a just place to inhabit.

      Jessie
I am willing to tentatively accept the findings of science as our best approximation of existential reality.
I don’t think it’s reasonable to call that faith, which can be maintained in spite of evidence to the contrary.
How many people still don’t accept Evolutionary Theory in spite of the evidence?
How many people still believe in a God despite no evidence at all?
I am willing to hypothesize that the above problems are overwhelmingly faith oriented in nature. Which is to say evidence independent of belief; which is not how I intend to operate.
I am skeptical meaning my beliefs will change should the evidence change, i’m not pretending to know things that I do not know or make declarative statements about the universe just because it makes me feel good.

    • @Supershoutmon
      @Supershoutmon 5 років тому +1

I believe faith is a great tool not a simple decoration.
So i have faith in the unknown and faith in the known of whom i have convicted myself to become a pure seeker of truth. My faith carries me onward evidence is also simply useful as stepping stones. You will get arrogant if your faith is so brittle and shortsighted as evidence, it needs to break. At the end evidence is also a set of subjective measurments destined to decompose and that doesn't sound like the attributes of Truth to me. Put your Faith directly in Truth science is a tool. Not perfect by a longshot. One of many to come i wouldn't put my faith in Humanity but in what is eternally there in lies truth.

and two painters is cool! It's the same as two dancers! One doesn't fully rely on the other they both know what they're doing with themselves and what the other does and it creates this vibe of amazing energy between the two, the closer the dancers, the more energy you notice. And the more they're conscious of what they're pulling as a duo, as a shared experience, the more it seems syncronized and just magical
but then, depending on their gratitude levels they'd either be happy or expect more next time because they didn't get to experience the other dancer's view as much as they wanted or something.
I seem kinda too optimistic about the whole Se-Se matching and Si-Si match too but that's because I feel like you're creating a new obstacle for humans, anyone can learn to appreciate anyone.
