"Everything I knitted" videos are very inspiring. I always watch them, just in case I miss some amazing pattern, or find unusual idea, tips, techniques. Love all your knits ❤
As a Polish person living in Dublin WHERE? Where do you find these yarn stores around every corner? In Polish Aran patterns are called Irish patterns so this is exactly what I expected - yarn stores everywhere all at once. But aside from Winnie the Wool wagon and This is Knit I couldn't find any others. Please tell me I would love to find more. If you're looking for more inspiration for kind of Aran inspired sweaters I recommend the books of Alice Starmore, especially Aran knitting and Fishermen's sweaters :) I really enjoy your storytelling, thank you for the vlog :)
Ahahah well there are a couple in town, plus Hickeys all around the big shopping centres…the Winnie’s wool wagon by Sandymount…let me know if you are struggling! I think I have a spreadsheet linked to a video here about Irish yarn shops! They have not a big range but they are there 😆
The Bold and the Beautiful. My Italian Great-Grandma watched it all the time when I was a little girl. She was a semesters in Little Italy NYC and she’d have me thread her sewing needles for her while she watched. Those are precious memories. Happy New Year 🎉 Happy knitting 💚🧶🩷
Great to see you. I love to hear about knitting with your grandmothers and mother. It’s so interesting that there are all these other heel techniques, thanks for sharing. As always your jumpers are lovely, even your “ugly” Christmas jumper is beautiful. Happy New Year Sam.
Listen Sam... I haven't knitted a sweater in 10+ years and it takes me 6 months to finish a pair of socks. So props to you! Doesn't matter if you knit the same jumper thrice in a row, the mojo you've got is impressive haha!
So great to see you again and hear about your creative adventures. I am coming up on the end of my first year of learning to knit and I’m getting more confident in what I am doing. Have been making scarves using different yarns and stitches to get familiar with what is possible/preferable. I hope to get started on my first sweater (aka jumper) soon and your comments about different patterns and yarns will be very useful in getting started on that. Thanks for sharing your journey!!!!! (Also very cold and snowy here)
Oh thanks so much. Take the jump, choose a pattern and go for it! Your first jumper (aka sweater 😜) will be amazing! I still wear my very first one at least once every couple of weeks!!!!
Sam, It's always fun to watch your channel. I enjoy seeing your sweaters. As for making the same pattern again, I have one boot sock pattern that I enjoy knitting over and over again. I have about a dozen pairs of the same boot socks. I just enjoy them.🧦 I'm looking forward to your next video.
If you're not feeling inspired to make an everything I knit video, how about a "high lights" or favorite knits of 2024? It might be a way to make a year end reflection type without having to go through everything you did. I love seeing when people make multiples of the same item. It tells me the pattern if good and the fit is good for that person. Oh I had to read that book for school. It was such a slog. Comparing it to a never ending soap opera is fair.

Same! I've saved so many patterns over the last couple of weeks. I guess I have to call out of work sick to get through those done haha
Hi Sam good to see you 😊

Loved the video- have you tried any patterns from drops and if so, do you recommend any? I think drops Nordic midnight would be up your street?
Oh I have not…I have been tempted many many times but I find them quite difficult to follow
