I love illustrating with my 40 degree fude pen. It’s amazing. I use it with Rohrer and Klinger Sketch ink and it works so well, better than the Carbon Platinum as I don’t like that that ink fades when erasing the pencil lines.
I've been looking for waterproof ink cartridges. I'm going to order some of those soon. I have multiple pens so i'll just put them in whatever one they fit. Thanks for the suggestion

I love the 40 pen, and I use it for sketching.. I've never tried the 55 but I'd love too.. it's just I don't like the double color details 😂 and I am afraid it is not that easy to use.. I found your video by changing searching tools and selecting date of upload.. otherwise it keeps showing same popular videos from more than 5 years ago 🙈

Part of being a small channel I guess, UA-cam doesn't us smaller creators if they don't HAVE to...haha! Agree that the 40 is perfection...but doesn't get the love the 55 angle does (which is harder to use, for sure). At least they are not too pricey if you do go for it, and have interchangeable ink systems. Happy new year!

@ for $7 it’s worth trying them. I have 3 different types of cartridges currently to fit all my pens

I have used an empty cartridge with water proof ink filled with a syringe and it works ok.
I'm keen to try this...once my cartridges run out in about a year or so

Yes indeed! My fave Toronto art store has 'em too, so one of these days I'm gonna go for it!
