The code 0451 is not only a reference to all those things. It’s also a reference to System Shock. The first door code in that game is 0451 and that has been referenced in dozens of video games since then.
i really like the deliverer with a sneak build. You can boost you damage with pistols and supressed weapons, AND the sneak damage multiplier makes a big difference. It starts to one shot headshots everybody on your way.
It is very good for stealth builds. If you have high agility and other stuff that helps sneak builds its easier to stay undetected which gives you that big time damage when using silenced weapons etc. It's the way the gun was meant to be used imo and if you're not using it this way it isn't that great.
The rarest weapon I can think of without using commands or mods would be the prototype railway rifle which you can pickpocket off of a railroad agent that is helping tinker Tom out at the shooting range in the railroad HQ. Also after this encounter is over the prototype railway will disappear from the agent's inventory so you have a very short window of time to actually get this weapon.

Explosive shotgun can be so rare sometimes that in one playthrough you may never get it to drop vs another playthrough it drops in the first few hours of the game. Combine it with the right perks and you can shred anything.
I renamed mine "Oppenheimer." Wish I could add borderlands style flavor text with the whole, "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" line. Fits perfect with the game, too, of course. I was real proud of that when I thought of it almost a decade ago. Lol
And, if it wasn't said already, the deliverer does a little more base damage than the regular 10 mm pistol, an since you can get it pretty early on, it's a good upgrade
Whatever you're going through, I know you'll pull through. Wishing you the best. Stay great, and never forget that you make the world a better place. ♥️
The Junk Gun is one of my personal favorite guns. Sure it's more like a gimmick gun but the fact that you can use say teddy bears as ammo means that you can potentially kill a raider with stuffed animal toys. I mean just imagine the conversation with a circle of souls talking about how they died in a blaze of glory against their foe only for some guy to say he died by having teddy bears thrown at him. Edit: Oh and fun fact in regards to the Railway Rifle. When aiming at an enemies head (so long as said enemy is a humanoid one) you can cause the head to be of course detached. But if there is say a wall behind the enemy the head will instead be mounted to the wall.
What's always fun is doing a quick save before entering a place with high chance of spawning a legendary foe, then reload until you get a Railway or gauss rifle. Then reload the autosave until you get the 2-Shot perk. A 2-shot Railway rifle means you high a higher chance of looting your spikes when used, similar to the striker mod on a 2-shot fatman launcher to get infinite ammo
The railway rifle in Fallout 3 did choo choo at you. After every shot. And it was craftable and upgradable three times over. Honestly I prefer the Fallout 3 version.
2:09 Technically true. I know the drops are randomized so we can’t count it. But on my recent play through, I got a unique double barrel shotgun with the same effect. At least now I know what sidearm I need😂
I've always been of the opinion that one should carry a main arm, sidearm, melee weapon and explosives in Fallout. At one point I was fortunate enough to acquire an explosive Railway Rifle, which in short order became my favorite gun, combining two of my weapon slots into one.
I was hoping to see the Wastelander’s Friend. It is my fave pistol in the game. Or Kremvh’s Tooth, which if you can get it early in game, is a great melee weapon to start out with.
What about the Striker? While firing what is effectively a portable cannon is wonderful, chucking bowling balls at massive speeds is also amusing...moreso if you can MIRV it up.
@@SeenGod you can sell pre war money for a good amount of caps (early game you can find a robbed bank with 100 of them) each is worth 3 caps and with higher stats even more. Also it gives cloth wich can be good too
One thing you forgot to point out with the cryolator that makes it probably the best weapon in the games, is that demolition expert affects this weapons freezing ability, which adds in a crazy area of affect damage on all of a targets limbs. It will shred through literally anything. I’ve killed an enraged dog crawler (toughest enemy in the game) with like 7 rounds of ammo, and the right perks.
The junk jet never interested me, and after beating this game 50 times, I realized that I have never actually set foot back in Vault 111 after leaving it. So I've never used the Cryolator either. The flamers never interested me either, so an ice variant just never stuck with me, despite the character literally saying "Oh yeah, I'm coming back for you" when encountering it.
For the railway rifle, you forgot to mention the fact that you can sometimes pick back up the spikes you shot at an enemy upon killing them. Therefore, you lose no ammunition in the process. Great video nonetheless!
Harpoon gun is better for that purpose, you can pick the harpoons back up if you miss and sometimes off of enemies you shot with the gun and with the flechette mod, it can fire multiple harpoons, and when you interact with the harpoons fired, you get multiple back, when you only use one harpoon when firing
0451 is also a common code used in games by looking glass alumni and friends. E.g. it's in System Shock 1, SS2, Bioshock (I think), Deus Ex, Dishonored, Prey (in space, not the SW) and I'm sure more. It supposedly is an homage to F451.
I like the special harpoon gun you get from Longfellow in the far harber dlc also you can recover the harpoons from the bodies lol... The upgraded harpoon ammo is worth it also if your playstyle involves heavy weapons
0451 is also something of a game dev meme, as it almost always appears in games that have a keycode mechanic, often as the code for the very first locked door you find.
I've run into it so often my brain recites a generic audiolog of someone declaring those numbers. I think it's from a Doom 3 audiolog lol. I don't even recall if D3 had an 0451 door. "...The code is... 0, 4, 5, 1"
Another interesting quirk of the railway rifle, if you somehow find yourself with a legendary two shot variant, and you're reasonably lucky, the ability to retrieve used railway spikes can exceed 1 for 1... making it's ammo virtually infinite.
The Deliverer is my favorite gun in VR, I’m s proper assassin with that beast I love the Cryolator too, it’s too damn expensive to shoot though, I prefer the snowball option though
the junk jet is also useful for holding your junk if you don't have space in your inventory, that's what i use it for because i build a lot in my settlements.
Nate completely missed the truly special attribute of the Deliverer: it has the lowest AP cost of any weapon in the game. With the right set of perks, you can one-shot an entire room of enemies, even with the silencer.
one thing to consider with the animatronic alien pistol is if you spawn it in using the console you cant 'mount' it on a weapons rack for display if you are into that sort of thing, but you can drop it and place it in a display cabinet or on a shelf/table etc
The legendary striker mod on the Big Boy 2-shot fatman means you inly need one modified bowling ball to make unlimited ammo. Go to one of your settlements and shoot into the corner of building and go pick your cannon-bowling balls

I have a request: top ten environmental storytelling areas
The railway rifle is actually pretty easy to find if you just go through the game normally as, if you didn't join the railroad, a fair amount of the hostile railroad members you meet have them in their inventory. I've even looted the automatic railway rifle from one.
I can't believe you didn't mention the Railway Rifle nailing enemies to surfaces.
Here is the comment I was looking for. Nothing like railroad spiking an enemies head and then finding it stuck to the wall as you explore!
Well it makes sense that the unique alien blaster uses fusion rounds instead of alien blaster rounds. Cause it's made by the Nuka-Cola company. Not aliens
Probably actually made by Westek or something Galactic Zone was a collaborative effort between a few different companies.
This was my thought exactly. It just makes sense that an Earthly weapon would use Earthly ammo.
Like I said in before video.

Is it kellogs pistol ?
Yeah but let’s look at what factions you are going to ignore, big airship, clean underground futuristic bunker or basement of a church full of coffins and ghouls
Ok I played through with the railroad, I take it back, they are a good faction but people probably still won’t side with them
@@gener1crhxrd121 no rr are liers

The code 0451 is not only a reference to all those things. It’s also a reference to System Shock. The first door code in that game is 0451 and that has been referenced in dozens of video games since then.
I love seeing that code in games
you can get the railway rifle just by being part of the railroad. right before you get raided by the bos they just give it to you to protect yourself.

i really like the deliverer with a sneak build.

The railway rifle in fallout 3 choo choose at you after every shot. Fallout 4's does it on reload
Exactly
I actually prefer the FO3 version it was weaker but the ammo was much more abundant
When i heard him say that the F3 version didn’t Choo, I immediately said “fake news”
I actually prefer the Fallout 4 verions choo chooing over the Fallout 3s
I’ve always played stealth sniper, but ever since I discovered that Kremvh's Tooth isn’t the weapon but merely a mod on a machete, my favourite weapon has become a penetrating Kremvh’s Tooth.
Nate is my secret weapon to fight my depression.
Whatever you're going through, I know you'll pull through.
Wishing you the best.
Stay great, and never forget that you make the world a better place.
♥️
You got this my dude your Power Level is over 9000
Yo bro I wish u get better
Same...
I have depression too. I'm going to therapy tomorrow. And I hope you will feel better soon. You can pull threw!
What the heck is with the clickbait thumbnail? I was waiting for it the whole video!

That's um the point of clickbait
What's always fun is doing a quick save before entering a place with high chance of spawning a legendary foe, then reload until you get a Railway or gauss rifle. Then reload the autosave until you get the 2-Shot perk. A 2-shot Railway rifle means you high a higher chance of looting your spikes when used, similar to the striker mod on a 2-shot fatman launcher to get infinite ammo
The railway rifle in Fallout 3 did choo choo at you. After every shot. And it was craftable and upgradable three times over. Honestly I prefer the Fallout 3 version.
Not to mention the Railway Rifle also pins limbs to walls, seeing a head shoot of a guys shoulder and stick into the wall is amazing!
The railway rifle is a must have, if you land you shots right, it can be a instakill, and has a 25% chance to getting your ammo back
5 year old game and still extremely popular. I love it and playing it everyday!!!
The base deliverer is actually a phenomenal weapon on stealth builds
I can’t finish this, the first entry had too many puns.
I never knew about the 451 revolver, I absolutely love that. Definitely gonna have to snag that.
I honestly figured he would mention the Broadsider too....I always thought it was just as unique and odd as the junk jet and railway
What about the Striker? While firing what is effectively a portable cannon is wonderful, chucking bowling balls at massive speeds is also amusing...moreso if you can MIRV it up.
If only my junk jet would shoot all the weapons I gather. Imagine firing machetes, raiders either try to run away or proclaim you are a god.
i load it with useless pre-war money, which weighs 0 in your inventory, and with the ignition module you can shoot flaming stacks of cash at people
@@SeenGod you can sell pre war money for a good amount of caps (early game you can find a robbed bank with 100 of them) each is worth 3 caps and with higher stats even more. Also it gives cloth wich can be good too
@@cptkugelhagel I've gotten to the point where they sell for 5 caps.
The deliverer was one of my most powerful weapons in multiple play throughs hell it worked better then some explosive legendaries I found
Literally have played to much fallout I can’t find a single video that has new things
I know me to
One thing you forgot to point out with the cryolator that makes it probably the best weapon in the games, is that demolition expert affects this weapons freezing ability, which adds in a crazy area of affect damage on all of a targets limbs.
If you missed any of these.. were you even playing the same game? These are all very easy to find
The last time I came this early, my girlfriend broke up with me
I guess you can tell *EX* girlfriend haha

Congratulations!
I actually regularly use the animatronic alien blaster with my mechanist custom character play through. Gives it a buck Rogers/ hero feel.
"what happened to this man? Was he murdered??"
"He wasn't just murdered, he was murdered to death!"
*Dun dun duuuun*
For the railway rifle, you forgot to mention the fact that you can sometimes pick back up the spikes you shot at an enemy upon killing them. Therefore, you lose no ammunition in the process. Great video nonetheless!
Harpoon gun is better for that purpose, you can pick the harpoons back up if you miss and sometimes off of enemies you shot with the gun and with the flechette mod, it can fire multiple harpoons, and when you interact with the harpoons fired, you get multiple back, when you only use one harpoon when firing
Fun fact about fallout 4 there are actually only 29 settlements in the game
I thought there were way more
are you being fr that there's only 29?
@@whiteeagle9769 there’s 37
@@michael_1735 yeah I figured there was more than 29 anyways
0451 is also a common code used in games by looking glass alumni and friends. E.g. it's in System Shock 1, SS2, Bioshock (I think), Deus Ex, Dishonored, Prey (in space, not the SW) and I'm sure more. It supposedly is an homage to F451.
I think I should mention this. you can turn junk into scraps to get more ammo for the junk jet
The deliverer is a godsend in survival mode mixed with the perk that increases the damage of supressed weapons
Nate, do you know that you really help me? I have depression. Watching you helps me. Your the best UA-camr btw
I've finally found a UA-camr that can suffice my fallout needs
I know this comment is like a year old, but Oxhorn does pretty good lore videos.
Another interesting quirk of the railway rifle, if you somehow find yourself with a legendary two shot variant, and you're reasonably lucky, the ability to retrieve used railway spikes can exceed 1 for 1... making it's ammo virtually infinite.
The Deliverer is my favorite gun in VR, I’m s proper assassin with that beast
I love the Cryolator too, it’s too damn expensive to shoot though, I prefer the snowball option though
"Murdering to death" is the equivalent to "killing to death"
are you saying you don't kill your enemies to death? Bc I certainly do...
the junk jet is also useful for holding your junk if you don't have space in your inventory, that's what i use it for because i build a lot in my settlements.
Do the items in the junk jet still add to the carry weight in survival?
You totally missed the point, that the railway can pin your opponants heads to the wall.
Fallout 5 - Back to the Wasteland to see how it has changed over the decades.
You mean basically Fallout 2, Tactics, 3, New Vegas and 4. Very original
@@metetural9140 More like Fallout 3-2.
Weapons you may have missed should be changed to “remember those guns you found over 4 years ago?”
Still waiting for the Broadsider. I know, it's a quest reward, but few things are more fun than hurling full-sized cannon balls at enemies.
The legendary striker mod on the Big Boy 2-shot fatman means you inly need one modified bowling ball to make unlimited ammo. Go to one of your settlements and shoot into the corner of building and go pick your cannon-bowling balls
Glad to see someone mention the deliverer. Its a must have for most of my play throughs.
fun fact the railway spikes shot if killing a enemy and their body part comes off it will stick to the wall
