    Hey guys, I figured it was due time for an updated front yard tour!! If you watched, I want to express how grateful I am and how much I love the community we’ve all built together. When I first started this, I hoped to showcase previous jobs I’ve done to future clients for me and my husbands business (Construction Landscape). That said, I never thought it would create this wholesome garden community we have now. I cannot express how grateful I am. So let me start with a big THANK YOU, and I hope you enjoy the videos! If you could leave a nice comment for Bryce as well, he worked really hard editing this for me while balancing college! Thanks y’all, and have a wonderful day #TrueGardener

      Your videos have definitely helped me coming from Wisconsin. Florida is a challenge but with your help I'm getting there. Jennifer, my husband says the same thing "Where". LOL Bryce does a wonderful job on filming your videos. Thank you both for all your helpful information and answering those tough questions.

    You do such good work. It's a pleasure to hear you "chat". Seeing the changes in your own garden over the years has been such a great help - the adage right plant for right place, seeing the growth in trees and what new adventures that gives, what to do when Mother Nature sends you a curve ball - you have gone through all of these with us and we appreciate it. Please keep it up!!!

    You have been such an inspiration!! I love see the transformation of your own garden. I have been struggling for 10 years with our yard but with your help and education of each plants I have started little by little to hopefully achieve a relaxing landscape. I’m a chemo nurse and at the end of the day I just want to relax and enjoy my Malbec wine 😊 Thank you so much

    I love your videos! When you were speaking about the little pieces of your garden that mean something to you because they were a gift from someone in your life, that was so real! That's probably my favorite part of my garden too. And Bryce, those questions were exactly what I wanted to know!! Perfect questions!! Thanks you guys!

      Thank you so much! That means the world to us! 🌱 We always say the heart of a garden isn’t just the plants, it’s the stories and memories behind them. So glad you connected with that! And as for Bryce… I swear, he's got a sixth sense for asking the perfect questions (must be all that time spent in the garden absorbing wisdom from the plants 😄). We’re thrilled you enjoyed the video-stay tuned, there’s plenty more garden talk coming your way! 🌻

    Thank you so much for sharing, your Meyer Lemon Tree is beautiful. I just got one, haven’t even put it in the ground, would love a video on all things from choosing a spot for it to planting it to maintenance. Thinking of putting it on my side yard but not sure how close I can plant it to the house. Your help is greatly appreciated ❤️

    Love your talks in your beautiful gardens. Being a northern transplant to Florida has been a gardening challenge plus we live in an area inhabited by deer, along with the damage raccoons and squirrels cause. Thanks for the inspiration and education you share. Thanks Bryce. I love the close ups so we can really appreciate each plant

    True Gardener. I love the coziness of your front yard. I appreciated you showing your tip with the Ti plant. I have never planted them just because of the leggedness. Wow. I feel that many can take direction from you no matter what style garden you have. I lean more towards pastels and cottagey style but still there are a great many ways to use your design elements by just changing the plant material. Thanks for giving us the tour. I love the entrances from the driveway too.

    This question isn’t related to plants but I was curious about your paver driveway/walkway. I love those pavers! We will be getting a paver driveway in the next couple months. Would you happen to know the brand, type, and color of those pavers? Oh and TRUE GARDENER! My husband and I watch all your videos and will be contacting you after our driveway is done to do some work for us!

    Beautiful garden! Do you have any suggestions on how to deal with snails and slugs. I am infested with them to the point I dug up all of my Hostas because they ate the leaves so bad. I have spent a lot of money on slug / snail baits which doesn’t put a dent in my issue.

    I didn’t know you could grow impatiens in water!! I recently experimented with spider plants and had great luck. What other plants grow well in water? And do you have to shield them from the sun more? I’d imagine the water gets pretty warm outside.

    Though pretty but a pond should be in half shade or dappled shade, to prevent the pond water to heat up to much. The fishes would be happier.

    • @TrueGardener
      @TrueGardener  7 місяців тому

      Yes, correct! I love our little fish friends. That being said, they get filtered sun for the majority of the time. Up until noon, the sun doesn’t poke up from behind the house. From noon till 3/4, the sun will be in sight of the pond, but after that, for the most part, it is hidden behind the coconut tree above it until it sets and is out of direct sunlight.
