I'm using pixel 6a and the refresh rate and fingerprint unlock is not a deal breaker for me. It's smooth and fast. Camera is very reliable and I'm happy that I bought this device. Easy to recommend.

I think face unlock option in 6a is negligible as it would cost more but no fingerprint sensor in iphone is not ok cause they could do it easily and the cost is low..
Pictures on the IPhone look too contrasty to me. Like someone has applied a weak cartoon filter. The Pixel takes more natural looking photos that are easier on my eye. From the brief video clips the IPhone's quality is already showing through, and you just know that as the level of light drops the IPhone would pull further and further ahead. IPhone 14 PM still bests any other device out there in video quality if not versatility.
I like the color more on the Pixel 6a. I think it's easier to edit or add your presets on the photo. But on video ot course the Iphone is better. But regarding the 60hz display, it's a $300 phone compared to a $1000 phone. The iphone 14 and 14 plus has also 60hz display.

At my carrier it has been $199.99 brand new for the last three months. For the average consumwr it is the best phone they could ever buy here in the states. Destroys any moto around the price and unless you need 120hz the prcoessor steam roles the A53 and A54
I just got a 6a for 180 and so far it's been the best phone I've bought. I've had the Samsung s21 iphone 13 and one plus phones, just to name a few. The 6a has been reliable with great battery life and an awesome point and shoot camera..I wish it had a 90hrz screen, you can actually download files to make this happen on the 6a but it's whatever.. a phone is a tool and I feel like the 6a gets every daily job done well. If you can find one cheap it's well worth it as long as you can overlook the scrolling speeds
No you can't upgrade a screen's refresh rate by a software. It's a hardware limitation. Refresh rate is how fast your screen refreshes every pixel it depends on the clock cycle of screen and various other factors. software's can only enable the settings but it won't actually make it faster.

IMO for photos Ip is too saturated & darker. Pixel have a more natural look & cleaner looking picture. I prefer Pixel. Anyway it's a personnel preference. Video wise even though Ip is better but for a that price..Pixel doing a good job.
I disagree, I have a Google Pixel 6 and I have a I also have a protective glass and my fingerprint works fantastically, I never have a problem with refreshing, it's only noticeable if I put my cell phone next to my cell phone so that it doesn't play a role, it works fine and smoothly.

I definitely have no regrets cause the battery life is much better as well as turbo charging and no heating issues.
I would say I just brought the pixel for 28k INR, I was interested in to buy a Nothing 1 after all I researched then my whole point is about processor and camera, and pixel is the only device all holding under 30k, and without hesitation I gone for it, I'm using it for 2weeks, it may have heating issues but not all time, and 60hz is good smooth with software..... Overall a good premium mobile within budget range
Likewise! I watched a dozen videos and 6a came out to be the winner in every video. I was too confused between nothing 1 and Google pixel 6a but i too bought 6a for 28k. I'm loving using pixel. It's perfect for my usage which is moderate. I didn't get any heating issues once I updated the version.
My colleagues at work have all these middle budgets phones and one of them has pixel 6a, and the question is happy decision or not? Not at all because he complaint about very slow charging and small battery. No wireless charger that makes difference who work at office. Pixel 6a overheat if play any simple game, the finger print lock is a joke.

Just the camera stopped working. So I'm looking at Pixel 7a or the iPhone 12. I am also on a budget like anything below $600. I also am thinking about whether to buy a separate camera cause sometimes these phones just don't last. I want the phone to last like 10 yrs without needing any updates. I might just get a flip phone if I get frustrated into purchasing another smartphone.
10 years is a little long...imo they make phones to last two years..that's always been the time my screens break (not top glass). Or charging port breaks, or my last phone to glitchy beyond repair.. companies aren't going to make a phone that last you 10 years.. why would they... They gotta make sales. If you want a secure face unlock, you need to have cameras like iPhone. But they own the rights. Most Android use a face unlock that is not very secure, meaning a picture can unlock the phone. Why do you think iPhones have a huge notch, for that high security face id.
I currently have android 13 but I don't know if it came with it. You will get Android Updates minimum until July 2025 and security update minimum until July 2027.

The 3a is great, close to the 4a. Some people think the Pixel 3 series cameras have better image quality than the 4a.

The high refresh is kinda useless for me becuase the content we consume doesn't hit above 60 fps. It also drains the battery faster.

Pixel 6a fingerprint and overheating issues have been resolved after the updates. I have been using it for a while
I preferred all the pixel 6a pics during blind test.
i rarely use fingerprint scanner lol.. Pin is always a habit for me even if the phone have fingerprint scanner

Wireless charging is missing, only being introduced to the A-series with the new 7a.

I think both devices are good. Maybe the Pixel 6a takes the better photos. It depends on which operating system is better for you.
