Best video that I finally found,I was straggling with the crashing waves and lines in the shore,your video was very helpful with the tips,explanation of mixing color and encouragement all that I need.

Love the different colours in all the variety of seascapes you have paint. Enjoyable to see and learn. I would love to see landscapes again. Snowy landscapes are so beautiful, i love your snowy bridge landscape in two sessions. Its tricky to paint snow with all the different lights shining inside and on the snow. If you would consider another snow scenery the easy way, much appreciate it. Thank you Steve. Whatever you paint next its always my Sunday evening relaxing time.

Hi Stephen the painting looked great when you finished it but when you put that frame in front of it wow it then looked stunning. I agree with the photo-realism painting, it is very hard to do and if you want an exact copy of a photograph, just enlarge the actual photograph and frame it.

Why do you use turpentine instead of oil ?
Thank you. I use turpentine with tiny amount of linseed oil mixed in . Turps on its own is fine also...it depends on each artist . Some like to use liquin also...i enjoy using tirps just to break the paint

Because I use it to clean my brushes
But it gives me headaches
So next painting will try with little amount of turpentine.

Just a waterbased undercoat for a diy store.... thinned with a little water
