Hi! I just found your channel in time for the holidays. You've got a new subscriber:) and I was wondering, I noticed your Goya adobo seasoning has a red cap. I looked a little closer and noticed mine is blue and it says without pepper. Will this seasoning still work? Thank youuu
Hi! So for adobo u can use any type of “season all” and Sazon is mainly for color and can be replaced with paprika. Also my friend on IG (Instagram) has a homemade version of both on his page @lacomidadejeremie it’s under the seasoning highlights on his profile 👍🏽

There's no reason to be against msg like there isn't against GMOs. It's huge scare mongering for no reason. Msg has been used in Asian cooking for 100's of years and didn't give anyone health problems. Msg is naturally found in tomatoes as well.
Hey! I actually don't know. I've never tried it with brown rice. I think it would work but you'd need to add way more water since brown rice takes longer to cook. If you try it out let me know how it goes! 👍🏾

Miriam Schiro it actually is vegan although it’s not the healthiest option due to the MSG’s I use it rarely so I don’t mind. If your referring to the ‘red 40’ in the ingredients, it’s actually produced from coal and not cochineal(carmine)
SupaNami lol I’ve said it once and I will say it over and over again..... NOT EVERY Rican makes recipes the same! This is the way my mom (who is 100% Puertorriqueña) made it growing up and it’s the way I learned to cook arroz con gandules. So my Rican card is still intact thank you very much 🇵🇷👍🏽

Maddiegrluv yes they do. I don’t mind using it cause it’s not an everyday thing. You can sub herbamare it’s a non msg herb seasoning👍🏽
