Hi Allen, I'm using the basic Shimano ST Baitrunner - 6000 size I believe, and the rods are Nash Entity 3lb test curve. For the relatively close range fishing that is called for most of the time on the river, any set-up similar to this would be fine. Best wishes, BB
Run rings fine for casting ? Considering I cast u 3 oz lead with one and the ring snapped and nearly killed me and my mate flew past my ear n just missed his head aswell dangerous run rings if you ask me
He said it was for under arm casts. Most of the time on rivers, you’re only fishing less than a rod length out in the slacks. Rings are fine for this. I don’t personally use them but rings would be fine for that.
Nice and easy thanks good safe set up 👌
Very informative information, I am curious , what brand of rod/bait runner reel are used? Would possibly purchase such a set up, thank you, and enjoy
