I just got to say, it’s so nice to meet you even though I don’t know you. Thank you so much I have been trying to find I don’t know how to put the art you do, the way you present yourself you’re just hilarious. i’ve been following you for a while now and you’ve got me back into painting. It’s such a hard long winter lol. I’ve been doing Stained glass for ever. It’s so hard on my hands getting up there you know. And from high school, I always liked acrylic and here you are showing me all kinds and ways and I just so appreciate it. I didn’t find any new vlogs, Just a couple like this one, so I have been following all your old four year old ones and up just enjoying enjoying enjoying. See you in the next one.😊
I was very inspired by your sketchbook tour...I pulled out a pad of cheap acrylic paper I was using outside...with my ridiculous handmade water soluble oil paint sticks..that did not impress me, nor did the painting I created..but when I looked at the painting again, I thought wow, that really has a vibe that I love, and reminds me of the work Sandi does that I love...thanks
Enjoyed the tour of your sketch book. Very nice. First time your channel has popped up on my feed. I'll be back. Love your loose and carefree style. When in doubt about what to paint, swatch and see where that leads is my response. Just get some color down and inspiration automatically follows. Cheers from Toronto, Ontario 🇨🇦
Yaaaay Sandi's Friday Fortnight ❤ so inspiring as always Sandi! Now I want to experiment in my sketchbooks (paint pens, gel pens and posca pens this time round 😁) so thank you for sharing your sketchbook and progress over the years 😊
Yep, after looking at your sketchbook, I feel fired up to paint. Don't you know I can't paint, though, because family from out of town is here and I have to be somewhat social. However, maybe I can take a page out of your book (pun intended) and pull out some sketch materials to doodle with, thereby cementing some memories. Such lovely art you have made these past two years. Very inspiring. Thanks, as always, for sharing.
Sandi, you ALWAYS make my day when you drop a video! And I get to drool over your art ❤❤❤ I love these sketchbook tours, I love remembering "I remember that one" 😊
What a treat, Sandi! Loved the tour, and to see the changes in your style with the abstract landscapes. My faves were 10:08 Cheekwood, and 12:54 oil pastel patterned tablescape. I do love your busy tablescapes with all the colour and patterns.
I love how loose your work is. I’ve been to Cheekwood many times. I lived in Nashville from 1976 to 1994 while writing songs. The last time I visited was in 2013. It was a great place to be in those days. I loved your oil pastel scene. I just bought my first set of oil pastels. I’m having so much fun with them. 💖
Yes! For some reason I always look for your upload on a Wednesday, and am disappointed not to find a new one… then I open up UA-cam on a Friday, and boom, you’re there to keep me company! 😍 Gorgeous sketchbook tour Sandi, thank you for sharing it with us! 😘
Wow! I totally remember being inspired by your drawing in which you made a whole scene with imagery you saw on Sarah Dyer’s Patreon! It seems like that may have been around when I first started following you! That’s awesome! ❤
You really inspired me to mix watercolor and gouache in one palette. I used one of those 24 half oan palettes and did one row of transparent watercolors, one row of more opaque watercolors, and then the last row, gouache. Loving it.
"A can of pencil." 😂 I love the way you phrase things! I can relate! Also, felt like a superfan watching this, sitting here telling you where you painted this or that. And of course, now I want to paint too. Thank you so much! 🎉
You have a child like style, something difficult to achieve, powerful colours, experimental techniques, and punch! I like a lot your drawings, so inspirational! Gabriel from Barcelona!
Thanks for another inspiring sketchbook tour! It's really a dream of mine to actually have a library of sketchbooks I can draw/paint from, but I have never ever filled one... Maybe some day!
Thank you! I loved seeing all of it! I live in Knoxville. There are so many beautiful places here to sketch and paint!! How about a Tennessee art retreat??
Wow, does the gouache pallette not dry and harden ? I’m intrigued . I love all your work and sketchbooks . My attention span is fairly bad on you tube but your stuff keeps my attention.
I have been disappointed also in the limited palette of neo color 1. But I just discovered you can buy individual colors, with more variety. I found them on Jackson’s website

Best vidoe to-date.
thank you!
How on earth did you resist buying all of your supplies in Italy??
I knew I wouldn't have time while there - it was go go go and I was often quite remote where I was staying
Just a question ( Adore the Sketchbook tours) why did you go backwards with this one?
What kind of paper are the notebooks you are using???
