I feel so sorry guys for you not being let into the observation deck above the UFO restaurant, the views from there are really stunning. Really like your video, although you should come back in the summer to get the most out of the city (this applies also to Vienna and Prague). Can't wait to see more of your content
22:04 Bratilsva is actually the sunniest city of the three. + Vienna is always colder than Bratislava. You need to come back in spring. Or summer but expect it to be hot for long walks - you'll need more coffee breaks. Also, next time, don't come on Sunday if you can. Slovakia stops on Sundays. It's part of our culture. Majority of people aren't working on Sunday. So everything is closed. If you do come on Sunday next time, maybe go to Devín castle. It's an important landmark of that area and it's always open.
Nice video .... thumbs up for the relaxed way how you explored the place ... that's how the travelling should look like. Interesting to see the place in covid time. I was several times in Bratislava but did not have enough time to explore the place like you did :-)... I was only in blue church for wedding of my friends. Wish you many interesting and safe travels in future
Realy beautiful vid. guys. If you are here, back again in Bratislava, let me know, there is much, much more to see. I suggest to travel a bit to Banska Štiavnica and other places in Slovakia as well :)
tell me if you like history, traditional cuisine, art or are you more interested in pubs, nightlife, nature, do you wanna bungee jump, hang out with foreigners living in Bratislava, tell us what you're looking for and we can send you some tips. Banská Štiavnica is cool. Do you also plan on visiting Košice? Or the Hight Tatras?
Aussies visiting my ancestral homeland, I'd like to visit Slovensko one day and talk to a stranger on the street like they're my grandparent or relative haha because that's how I would feel like, speaking the same language, eating the same food etc.. it's like everyone there is familiar to me like a relative. And I'm born in Australia and living here, I'm Aussie.
Why is it taking you so long to visit your roots? I don't want to sound pushy, but you need to come 😂. But not on Sunday, Slovaks don't do, don't work, don't hassle on Sunday so everyhing is closed. Part of the culture.
@@Mrkva22296 Well, there are reasons such as I want someone to come with me to visit Slovakia, some of my friends don't want to come or have time, another one is I'm hesitant in general. Haha, I understand you promote Slovakia you want travellers to come and visit which I understand, ja ta rozumiem. I'd like to visit not only the cities but country side even the east side. Great to see on Sundays shops are closed, time for church ⛪️
A great place to get a beer/drinks is right next to the Slovak pub Called KGB pub, you can also see it in the background at 7:03 . It is filled with old Soviet artifacts and the whole theme is communistic era. It has great and friendly waiters and the drinks are very well made. Personally I would recommend getting a beer and a drink called “grepovička” it is made out of traditional Slovakia spirit Borovička and grapefruit juice. It is also smoker friendly with a separate smoking room. It is one of our favorite places to go to.
Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

To město je smutné, vlastně málo Čechů v Bratislavě vůbec bylo. Šílené nádraží i před ním, hodně neudržovaných chodníků, budovy v dezolátu, málo historie, Rozhlas vypadá děsně, je to škoda.
It is nice to go here for a trip, but you would not want to live here if you find yourself here for a few years. You live here, you work here, so you realize that you are in hell.
So beautiful city and so amazing for relax and so much to do there
Very nice, thank you for sharing Mr. Ko, been to Bratislava before, very impressive!

Slovakia wasn't part of the Soviet Union so the artefacts are probably communist but not Soviet
