Personally, i don't know why people hate this movie so much, like did you expect something serious out of a movie called freddy vs jason? I sure didn't, i had a great time watching this movie and the movie stayed true to both of there sources.
The only problem I had with it was how Jason suddenly became afraid of water, completely ignoring the fact that he had no problem with it in the F13 movies.
I mean in reality people hated the parts that weren’t Freddy Vs Jason. The human characters are boring like always but the main purpose of a slasher film is to develop story on the Antagonist, oh yeah and to get scared because they’re horror movies. So in conclusion Freddy Vs Jason certainly has its flaws but doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets.
This movie actually showed that none of them would win. Both of them don't have a problem with dying. Freddy's weakness is being forgotten, and Jason is basically a zombie. None of them won. Movie was good. Gg.

I am so grateful to have been born in the 2000s. Those times was the best for the horror genre. Except the 90s. Freddy vs jason came 2003 same year as the remake of Texas chainsaw massacre. Freddy vs jason will in my oppinion be the greatest Horror crossover ever made. I would also call it the best (Nu Metal Slasher movie) because of all great Nu metal songs in the Soundtrack.

I hate to knit-pick at the movie itself but the dialogue was awful, they turned Jason into Frankenstein’s monster, Freddy doesn’t even get that many kills, lack of character development, to much CGI, and I’d say they should have brought back some key characters from each respective franchise. But at least we got this movie with some good kills and getting to see Freddy and Jason duke it out!
awesome and yeah remakes are crap, and so are all the retcons to many horror franchises writers should own the mistakes or the correct the course of the story but dont retcon it, these characters do what they do and we love them for it, no movie should be left behind

I hate to knit-pick at the movie itself but the dialogue was awful, they turned Jason into Frankenstein’s monster, Freddy doesn’t even get that many kills, lack of character development, to much CGI, and I’d say they should have brought back some key characters from each respective franchise.
But at least we got this movie with some good kills and getting to see Freddy and Jason duke it out!
Jason’s a zombie so bring like Frankenstein isn’t a far stretch..also Freddy wasn’t very strong in the beginning because he was basically forgotten.

and yeah remakes are crap, and so are all the retcons to many horror franchises
writers should own the mistakes or the correct the course of the story but dont retcon it, these characters do what they do and we love them for it, no movie should be left behind
