Man, this hits me in various ways. I love this song. Learning about Dave's passing is very saddening, and finally the nostalgia as it was the theme song for WWE's ECW for North America on television. So conflicted with how I feel after all that.
Saw them a week before Dave died at Ozzfest. Man that tour was cursed. Between Dave dying and Ozzy missing most of the tour because Sharon had cancer it was brutal. OG Drowning Pool were great live and Dave looked great so I was shocked to hear him pass. That crowd was very happy to hear them and they most definitely were on the way up in the metal world. Saw them a week before Dave died at Ozzfest. Man that tour was cursed. Between Dave dying and Ozzy missing most of the tour because Sharon had cancer it was brutal. OG Drowning Pool were great live and Dave looked great so I was shocked to hear him pass. That crowd was very happy to hear them and they most definitely were on the way up in the metal world. Such a shame Dave had to leave us so early
Indeed, and what Dave died from was something that couldn’t be detected and sometimes had no symptoms at all. No drugs or a suicide, just Cardiomyopathy. Such a shame he died so soon,, this band would have gone so much further.
