one of the greatest Canadian rock bands of all time. They did a show here in Bonnyville Alberta for Canada day. Still sound great. Bought their new album and was invited back to their trailer for the after party, Most down to earth guys you could ever meet. Even signed the record for me. I'd go see them anytime their around.

Around 1998 my old man gave me this cassette. I listened to it over and over again when i was a kid. Fast forward 25 years later and i still have the same tape thats in the truck him and i built together 🤙 still works like a charm

You still can and they still kick a$$. Great keys player Peter Nunn used to play with Gowan and plays with The Kings as well or did preCovid.

@@robpreussmusic st louis, mo. at the Muny amphitheatre in Forest Park. It was pretty warm that night and i remember how cool the concrete seating was after it got dark. Not from sitting on it tho lol. On my bare feet. Every half circle row was the same-all girls standing on the seats with the guys in front of them. The lights and the acoustics were fantastic there. Only show ive ever seen there unfortunately.

This song rocks! I had a blast seeing Honeymoon Suite live in concert tonight in Little Current. They closed their set with this song, and everybody sings along to “fire” part. Derry rocks!

Too bad Johnnie couldn't work the stage in this one due to the broken leg. in 2016, Johnnie still delivers the "FIRE" with his vocals, Derry stills shreds, Gary is still cool as ever and Dave is still an animal pounding the skins! Can't believe the unfortunate timing of the simultaneous single release of Climie Fisher's "Love changes (everything)" which debuted on the Billboard Pop charts two weeks after this one appeared on the charts. In the 60 year plus history of the Billboard charts, only two songs ever had that particular song title and they came out at the same time which likely affected the success of this song.
i wouldn't have known when this was out if not for your reference to climie fisher. this is the hair music that was good not demoralizing crap like guns and hoses.
Never realized HMS put out a song of the same name. Coming here I was sure some fool confused Climie Fisher with HMS. Color me shocked that I'm the fool!

What a classic this is . Was shingling a roof in the late 80s . Was all by myself all of a sudden I heard I knew you were up here whistling that vintage homeymoon suite. My buddy peaked his head above the ladder he was a front man for a local cover band . I use to get together with him picking out some vintage Canadian rock for him and his band to learn .
