Receiving a good record means that your record sold X number of copies (i believe it's 500k) so does that imply that WCW promised to go out and buy up to 500,000 physical copies of the winner's album? If they followed through on this legally binding contract what did they do with all of those CDs, Cassettes, and possibly even vinyl records?

I'm new to watching wrestling - started in 1981 - and bad booking has been the bane of every company through all times. I mean TNA started with a midget pleasuring himself in a rubbish bin. In current product AEW has the Jericho Vortex. WWE has the way the women are booked (I also thought the Bloodline story was dull). The whole Attitude Era sucked. WCW from nWo's Uncensored PPV (that's when they started to drop and nWoverkill started, IMO) became steadily unwatchable. Have you watched ECW TV? Abysmal. ROH was great at first (like, 2000s at first), but now it feels aimless. I know some people like more storylines than wrestling... so why watch a wrestling show? But this is a good list, and there is so much scope for a part 2.
btw, RR didn't click with a lot of fans because WWE was so desperate to get him over after countless failures that they made him USE HIS CANCER to guilt people into feeling sorry for him therefore forcing them to accept him. absolutely disgusting and made me stop watching for years. it's too bad people sell out their own beliefs in order to appear a certain way online. even more disgusting.
It's wrestling, none of the story lines are supposed to make sense. There are many other story lines in the past that didn't make sense but many of us didn't really care, we watched it because it was wrestling! As time went on the fans started picking apart stories and cried like babies about how "they don't make sense, I don't get it" wrestling fans are a majority of the reasons why wrestling became unenjoyable for a few years. All they ever did was complain, cry and b*tch every week.
Willie Hobbs is actually under a gas mask when the "SWAT Team" debuts on December 3, 2018. Not sure if he's back under on December 17th, as well. And it might have been a painful storyline to endure week after week, but taken on their own as clips, the Gas Mask promo is a classic. Awesomely stupid, and Mox actually pretty much explains the turn right there (Rollins is emotionally needy, he only thinks of himself and wants all the glory for himself, and Rollins and Roman were more interested in pandering to the crowd than making The Shield what it was meant to be. Classic heel work.) I grant you this is from my watching wayyyyyyyy after the fact and knowing that Roman was back within 6 months and would soon morph into an annoying perpetual champion who barely wrestled between WM 39 and WM 40, just doing these stupid "Tribal Chief" skits with his smell-the-fart "acting" and this cousin is turning on that cousin blah blah blah get off the fucking stage, but I suppose in 2018 people might have actually been worried about him and thought it was poor taste.

I’m one of the biggest proponents for Vince retiring 20 yrs before he did. That said, I think a big part of the bad booking of Roman Reigns was the fact WWE had no competitors to threaten ratings. AEW sucks but they have definitely contributed to the current success of WWE as no one in WWE wants another 83 weeks.
