Eddie had his daughter in the ring at one point during a house show, and a fan threw a beer at him, he let the crowd take care of it in the moment, and finished the work, but a few moments after he got her behind the curtains, he FLEW out from the back and made a beeline towards the guy, all the fans begged him to calm down and told him it wasn't worth it - he thanked them, said they were right, thanked god and left.
Jerry Lawler leaving in 2001 was a well known thing. Paul Heyman literally said, on the air during his first 10 minutes of work, flat out said Jerry quit and stated why. That was even more wild then Jerry quitting in the first place lmao
The funniest thing about McMahon v Pandas is that the Pandas actual legal claim was "old people are stupid and may get confused and give money to the wrong group". While they won the battle of the names (which is funny given by that point they themselves weren't actually known as the WWF) it didn't gain them much as they repeatedly lost any financial claims as the judges rightfully pointed out "no, people aren't as stupid as you claim"
EVOLUTION (HHH) did NOT want Jindrak in the group, Vince did. They wanted Batista, and got their way. Plus jindrak and orton were like a high school locker room according to triple H on the evolution episode of wwe 24
If WWE and WCW functioned as separate entities after they purchased it, WWE and Vince would have made so much more money than running that invasion angle
He didn't want to risk it making money commercially, because it wasnt his creation and would have shown it folded oddly as entity with some asset value.

I got really exited when I realised I’m very much sleep deprived watching this at 3:13am on Thursday 19/10/23. In my tiredness I seem to have developed selective reading and only saw the thumbnail for this video, all I saw was, 100 OF WWE, and the internet has trashed my brain so much I did not read the word of and read OF( as in only fans)
In light of recent developments, the "Vince gonna Vince" comment seems almost ominously foreboding. In most cases, I'd say wait to let ot all play out in court, but Vince has so much of a track record.
Even after all these years you still get the evolution thing wrong. Triple H debuted the group, batista got injured so they put it on hold. He then re injured himself trying to heal too fast. WWE then pitched Jindrak but after seeing the vignettes and how he and randy were together HHH begged WWE to wait for Batista to come back and make him the 4th. Jindrak was only ever considered and was not ever the first pick. Every member of evolution has said the same thing, even Jindrak.
(Pulled from google) The 2000s, also known as the noughties, was a decade in the Anno Domini and Common Era in the Gregorian calendar. It began on January 1, 2000 and ended on December 31, 2009. It was the first decade of the 2000s century and the 2000s millennium.
Lou Sahadi, mentioned in the section on 2004, was the man who was originally supposed to be Mick Foley's ghostwriter on Have a Nice Day, but disagreements on the writing style of the book resulted in Sahadi being removed from the project and Mick doing the whole book himself.
@KadenHartley the point is that rent for ANYTHING in Times Square is unbelievably astronomical, meaning ANY business trying to turn a profit there has an almost insurmountable uphill battle ahead of them. The fact that WWE, during the biggest boom period, still struggled, is indicative of a problem far greater than WWE.
Personal opinion: rather than using the name Lord Tensei, they couldve named him Emperor or Lord Arubāto. It not only represents his Japanese gimmick and his time in japan, it's also a nod to the fact that his old name was Albert/A-Train. Not to mention it's literally the Japanese pronunciation for Albert, (put it in google translate and you will see the Japanese Characters typed out as well)
wow watching this today and the segment on the change from WWF to WWE (16:50). The comment "Vince was taught a lesson by a panda, but unfortunately not the one from South Park" has aged really well. For those out of the loop the panda in South Park was there to teach the kids about s*xual harassment.
"It's anyone's guess whether or not the Briscoe Brothers ever make it into WWE..." This comment makes me sad. They were such an incredible tag team and honestly, "aesthetics" should have always only been considered when the in-ring work didn't match.

Small nitpick. The Attitude era ended precisely May 6th, 2002, not April 2001. The Attitude era received its name from WWE's branding as "WWF Attitude" between November 9th, 1997 and May 6th 2002.

Attitude era will always be the best era, hands down, ruthless agression era is just the attitude era turned down from the TV-14 ratings to the TV-PG ratings.
