The fact that even when furious, Foley still wanted something for charity is fucking amazing
Eddie had his daughter in the ring at one point during a house show, and a fan threw a beer at him, he let the crowd take care of it in the moment, and finished the work, but a few moments after he got her behind the curtains, he FLEW out from the back and made a beeline towards the guy, all the fans begged him to calm down and told him it wasn't worth it - he thanked them, said they were right, thanked god and left.
Rhyno was using the gore, called the gore in ecw as rhino. So Lombardi is capping hard
Came here to say this. Thank you
facts
Rhyno was doing the gore in ecw b4 they went out of business
The funniest thing about McMahon v Pandas is that the Pandas actual legal claim was "old people are stupid and may get confused and give money to the wrong group". While they won the battle of the names (which is funny given by that point they themselves weren't actually known as the WWF) it didn't gain them much as they repeatedly lost any financial claims as the judges rightfully pointed out "no, people aren't as stupid as you claim"
It's sad to know that instead of Sting vs Undertaker, we got that weird DDP angle with Undertaker and his then wife Sara.
Well, the Sable and Vince incident did not age well....
Rhino was using the Gore loooong before WWF
Yes!
Jerry Lawler leaving in 2001 was a well known thing. Paul Heyman literally said, on the air during his first 10 minutes of work, flat out said Jerry quit and stated why. That was even more wild then Jerry quitting in the first place lmao
Jerry also went to the xwf where hogan was going to work…. Or maybe not brother
Idk where the facts came from but Rhino was doing the gore on ECW well before he went to WWF/E
facts. paul heyman shouting GORE was vintage ecw. edge was the first to do it in wwe actually.
you didn’t pay much attention to the entry did you? Rhino was wrestling in wwe in the mid 90’s. Before he went to ecw.
@@carbondioxide830 no edge definitely wasn’t the 1st person to do a spear in wwe. You youngsters clearly need to hit up peacock and watch some pre attitude era raw. It’s terrible, but it’s worth knowing some of the fun facts that come out of it.
@@richardtherichard26i only remember Goldberg doing the spear when i was younger then edge, rhyno and batista
In light of recent developments, the "Vince gonna Vince" comment seems almost ominously foreboding. In most cases, I'd say wait to let ot all play out in court, but Vince has so much of a track record.
To be fair about WWF New York, nothing in Times Square turns a profit.
Wrong😡😡😡
Wrong😡😡😡
@KadenHartley the point is that rent for ANYTHING in Times Square is unbelievably astronomical, meaning ANY business trying to turn a profit there has an almost insurmountable uphill battle ahead of them. The fact that WWE, during the biggest boom period, still struggled, is indicative of a problem far greater than WWE.
I remember the RVD vs Jeff Hardy unification ladder match tho
I remember that RVD vs Hardy Ladder match. One of my very favorites
Same
If WWE and WCW functioned as separate entities after they purchased it, WWE and Vince would have made so much more money than running that invasion angle
Imagine had they just waited until the time warner contracts ran out and had the real WCW stars there for it
He didn't want to risk it making money commercially, because it wasnt his creation and would have shown it folded oddly as entity with some asset value.
2002 was my favorite year in WWE . A lot of the best ppvs came from that year
that first elimination chamber!!
The beginning of that year was mediocre but once the summer came it was great until the end of the year
@@shady3legend I loved it from the rumble and on thought the whole year was great
When hbk came back !! After 4 years comes back and has the best match on an amazing summerslam card
@MR.__G still my favorite summerslam match
I'd call this experimental effort an enjoyable success! I like this compilation and would love to see more of similar in future.
Listen here 😡😡😡
So they just forgot bout the year 2000? 😂
I did
Even after all these years you still get the evolution thing wrong.
Triple H debuted the group, batista got injured so they put it on hold. He then re injured himself trying to heal too fast. WWE then pitched Jindrak but after seeing the vignettes and how he and randy were together HHH begged WWE to wait for Batista to come back and make him the 4th. Jindrak was only ever considered and was not ever the first pick.
Every member of evolution has said the same thing, even Jindrak.
I mean I get the Lita one about her leaving the gifts. Some of the wrestlers get a lot of stuff from fans at each event and they need to keep their bags light enough for when they need to hit the airport to go to the next event where they'll probably receive more gifts.
Ivory sounds bitter and jealous.
I got really exited when I realised I’m very much sleep deprived watching this at 3:13am on Thursday 19/10/23. In my tiredness I seem to have developed selective reading and only saw the thumbnail for this video, all I saw was, 100 OF WWE, and the internet has trashed my brain so much I did not read the word of and read OF( as in only fans)
This is awesome! This is awesome!
(Pulled from google)
The 2000s, also known as the noughties, was a decade in the Anno Domini and Common Era in the Gregorian calendar. It began on January 1, 2000 and ended on December 31, 2009. It was the first decade of the 2000s century and the 2000s millennium.

1:19:50 I Loved Charlie Haas as "Stone Cold Steve Haastin"😂😂😂
China would have fit well in the terminator movie
The eventual actress was better.
This list is unnecessarily And Annoyingly long … and I Freaking Love it … Do it again Boyz 🤩
Lou Sahadi, mentioned in the section on 2004, was the man who was originally supposed to be Mick Foley's ghostwriter on Have a Nice Day, but disagreements on the writing style of the book resulted in Sahadi being removed from the project and Mick doing the whole book himself.
wow watching this today and the segment on the change from WWF to WWE (16:50). The comment "Vince was taught a lesson by a panda, but unfortunately not the one from South Park" has aged really well.
For those out of the loop the panda in South Park was there to teach the kids about s*xual harassment.
“ when a volcano called * paper rustles * yeah im not attempting to read that “ 😂😂😂😂
Beautiful great video right here 🍿😎
This was incredible very well done
Firing Predator Vince would make WWE much better that's a fact
Stay salty 😛😛😛
@@KadenHartley Stay stupid predator vince backing WWE fanfool
Have a nice day 😆👋
@@KadenHartley As you were saying?
Man this comment aged well
@@KadenHartley Jail predator for decades Vince
Chyna as the TX would've killed the Terminator franchise stone dead lol.
EVOLUTION (HHH) did NOT want Jindrak in the group, Vince did. They wanted Batista, and got their way. Plus jindrak and orton were like a high school locker room according to triple H on the evolution episode of wwe 24
The panda joke with vince m. got me chuckling.
I remember the elevated liver enzymes saga. The IWC with its infinite intelligence was saying it was due to steroid use.
WWE in 2000s were the last golden ages & days . Then it went downhill after that

16:27 I've actually watched that match on UA-cam like a million times growing up fr
Rhyno was using the Gore in ECW....
23:32 I remember that story!! Maven was in on it too
Small nitpick. The Attitude era ended precisely May 6th, 2002, not April 2001. The Attitude era received its name from WWE's branding as "WWF Attitude" between November 9th, 1997 and May 6th 2002.
I feel like there are several facts that could be added since this video was released.
I really think think this game is going to be stacked to the roof and boy do we need it
Besides catching up on the attitude era and the beginning of ruthless aggression. My WWE life span is 2004-2010. I wish I watched longer I was just born earlier. But I did enter at a great spot. In the middle of the HBK vs HHH feud. And left soon after Jeff Hardy won his championship
I don't think Steve Lombardi said he told Rhyno to call his spear the gore lol
Theres a t in 3 lmao😂
Snooki at WrestleMania was by far one of the worst things to happen to Pro Wrestling. She had no business being there and there was no crossover appeal that came from her appearance.
Drew carey.
I agree with JBL. He's one of the best.
2.5 million to purchase wcw?!?! Think someone got the shaft
Question? 2008 Simon is narrating. I would like to know what’s the name of that background song?
Did you just call Eddie, Chavo's cousin?
Jerry Lawler leaving in 2001 was a well known thing
Did he say cousin Eddie 😂 he meant uncle
16:14 man Eddie was juiced 😂😂😂
Honorable Mention... the Rock was never supposed to fight Lesnar.. they wanted to keep Rock Vs Hogan going..and Austin vs Lesnar.. but with Austin " quitting"The Rock got thrown into the mix
1:29:46 hey yo wth😂😂😂😂
Savage vs Hogan at WM20 would've been dope just on nostalgia itself
1:14:54
LMAO, Johnny was a savage.
Holy crap, its Adam Clearly!!!
I only started watching WWE in mid 2006
Me too. That 4th of July episode of WWECW was the first show I remember watching
I do remember that Jeff hardy vs rvd ladder match.
Perfect I needed something to nap to 🛌
WWE didn't lie when they said HBK's first match back was in 2002, it was his first match back since his "retirement" in 1998.............in WWE.
Personal opinion: rather than using the name Lord Tensei, they couldve named him Emperor or Lord Arubāto. It not only represents his Japanese gimmick and his time in japan, it's also a nod to the fact that his old name was Albert/A-Train.
Not to mention it's literally the Japanese pronunciation for Albert, (put it in google translate and you will see the Japanese Characters typed out as well)
Everyone knows number 9 Paul heyman literally said why Jerry lawler quit on his first episode as raw announcer lol
Shane helms was always getting in fights like cin cara
HEY DDP....TIEN FROM DBZ USED THE HAND SIGN TOO
Clery is a producer for all the channels, right?
Rhyno was winning with the gore in ECW
WWE was far more raunchy during that time. Definitely wasn’t the family friendly wrestling that it is now.
Miss it

Is Adam Cleary still with What Culture Wresting?
134:38 made me die of laugher. DOWNUHHH
5:29 Terminator 3 was bad but it would’ve been even worse if Chyna was as the T9th Wonder Of The World
Ummmm the Gore one seems false but. I thought I remember seeing some of the final ppvs and he was using it. Maybe I'll have to look into that one lol
I wonder if the absence of Vince Russo and Stone Cold, Rock play a huge part in the huge decline after mania 21.. i can see why once Rock came back from Hollywood he got the Undisputed Championship to drop it to Brock Lesnar.
The gore moniker was created in ECW
No wonder Cena is thankful to WWE for so long, NJ may have decked him to U cant c me levels 🤣
"It's anyone's guess whether or not the Briscoe Brothers ever make it into WWE..."
This comment makes me sad. They were such an incredible tag team and honestly, "aesthetics" should have always only been considered when the in-ring work didn't match.
This didn't age well, and in just a short 3 months 😂
I remember on JRs podcast he once stated they put the wrong individual in charge of their spot in NY. He basically xost them a fortune and was more or less laundering funds etc etc.
Nope.
Thank God it was actually "vince is gonna vince, temporarily"
Chyna would've made T3 sooo much better. Loved her during her prime. R.I.P. Chyna.
Simple man. I hear Adam Cleary, I leave.
Chyna as the terminator... different film
wow the whole vince part did not age well
I was 4😂😂😂😂
Did he call him Chris Gay? 😂
I always thought wwe should've kept the companies separate. WWE their fans. WCW for the southern fans and ECW for the hard-core fans. They could've covered all the bases of American pro wrestling
Hogan was 90 at the time. Give ‘em a break. Jesus..Context dude. 😂
Stone cold on byte this is the real pipe
I love the old days too, but the 2nd narrater just sounds like a hater lol
The rock in 2002 you got completely wrong but never mind
22:22 😂 flat f k the sun
“2002 wasn’t the year Shawn Michaels returned to the ring. He returned in April 2002.” Hmm
Sure have enough ads?
1:18:20 you mean after it, right?
I remember the day they got the F out, every time JR kept saying "WWE" i thought he was making an error for some reason..
Adam Clerly is back?!?
I was wondering the same thing...I'm guessing he recorded this before he went to FourFourTwo...
@@UnkPoker1 but didn’t he leave like 6 months ago? Maybe more?
