A former wrestler turned into detective. Add a plucky kid who looked up to him as a sidekick and this is an Apple TV show for two seasons. Call it “Hardest Part of the Ring.”
Ooh, what if it's a napkin with all of his original storyline ideas written on it. They took it away so they could do a few new things, and when Vince frequently demands it be given back, Shane refuses. Given that Vince is mostly gone now, maybe they could swerve him with some light prodding.
I can think of another unsolved mystery in WWE: just around the time of the 1992 Survivor Series, Razor Ramon would say on more than one occasion, “ Razor Ramon got double crossed one before, ask that Chico what happened, if you can find him “ but no name of the person who double crossed Razor Ramon was ever mentioned.
You're right about kids believing what they see. My brothers stepson, 10, was watching Wrestlemania XV and saw The Undertaker hang Boss Man from the cell after their match. The kid was freaking out for days thinking he saw someone killed on live TV. He was on the autism spectrum and took what he saw literally. I had to go to their house a few days later and show him stills from the internet showing that he was really hanging from a harness under his outfit and the noose was just play.
Simon you are the best out there on UA-cam doing your things. Proud of you and ty for all the awesome context over the years. Glad haku and Tana never caught you lol
46:26 that's not what happened. val looked over and sarcastically said "heh.... they call you the big show?" to which big show finished up and then banged val's head against the stall wall. otherwise great vid
Hello, funny sir. Youre cracking me up, man. I loved the "well it was your idea, Vince. You go sit in the corner and think about what youve done." Lol, it applies even today... but, hey, question from a brand new subscriber who is thoroughly enjoying the content, will you do a video covering WWE June 28th, 1998? Its, its uhh, its my all time favorite... if not, well, then i wont watch it lol. Cause i cant. Either way, good content, man.
10mins in and I've cried laughing 4 times. Give this episode to the suits who give trophies. This is how people should actually earn an Emmy to put on a mantle. Mr Miller, i wish i could leave a proper hat tip gif. You are an absolute weapon. You should have a weekly collaboration on the Pat McAfee Show. Well done, Sir. 👏👏👏
Shane: "Dad, buy the UFC now before it becomes massive internationally." Vince; "That's a stupid idea, because it's not my idea." Ten years later... Vince: "Hey Shane, remember when I told you we should buy the UFC and you called it stupid?"
You should play sherlock in an actual movie. You'de be like "That SOB died from stupidity!" Watson'd ask "HOW?" You'd say something cool like "Marked out and had a heart attack!" Watson would just stare blankly... We'd all be entertained. ~The End~ Make it Happen Holly/Bolly woods.
I was so young and naive that when I saw a video of the supposedly recently deceased Mr Mcmahon talking about the Benoit tragedy I legit thought it was a video he sent from the afterlife lol I was such a dumb child
They could have had someone else find Kane's mask after he beat Fake Kane, then they would have attacked Kane and have done some sort of possessed mask angle. Where whomever wore it would envoke the Big Red Machine version of Kane and attack him to get retribution for the spirit possesing the mask.
could have in regards to the one with mox, could have geninuely had a proper sting turns on wcw and becomes crow sting moment with Hangman. oh what could have been
How about this one to explain some stuff? The locked box had the secret to controlling the undertaker, which explains why he was always doing Vince's bidding? Except for when he wasn't, of course. We could say it was taken from Paul Bearer, as William Moody died the year before this. Now 'taker has retired and the Streak ended, control of 'take is irrelevant, so the importance of the box has been well and truly nerffed.
It was the Big Bossman. No members of the Corporate Ministry were allowed to interfere. The Raw before KOTR the Bossman was "fired" from the Corporate Ministry only to be conveniently "rehired" the night after KOTR. While it wasn't outright said it was heavily implied.
@@bsmusic8837 Nice, that's pretty cool. I like that there's an answer. I don't know why they didn't just answer that on Raw or Bruce Prichard didn't say so on his podcast. Kinda like how they never said what was in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Even though we know they just put a light bulb in there and in this wrestling angle it's just a guy in a production booth pushing a button to lift the briefcase.
@@TV-Tony Yeah it would have been nice if they fully explained it. That could have at least set up an Austin vs Bossman match for that night's Raw. Nice comparison there with Pulp Fiction!
If the Shane lockbox story was true you would probably say it had something to do with Vince's crazy payoffs but it was just sloppy and stupid gimmick that wasn't thought out
How disgusting.. They make an hour long video comp with Simons old videos. Just for the views. Nah, just ups and downs for me. If he was doing the whole video in the same clothes then I'd watch. But this is just a Mash up of videos. Can be done in editing in literally 20 mins. And get paid for it indefinitely. It's kinda sad....
let's not forget that Glen Jacobs was also at one point Fake Diesel... sooo.. Fake Diesel became real Kane, then real Kane fought Fake Kane.. also, minor point, but Lita did not have an abortion in that story, she had a miscarriage that was Not Snitzky's fault!!
Maybe the lock box had some evidence of Vinces dirty dealings such as his thing with arena football or his dark dealings with female talent dun dun dun
You sound like a southern evangelical pastor half the time it’s so distracting😂 I’ve made a game out of it. It’s called wait for the inflection and it’s quite amusing.
Simon's videos are what keep me subscribed to this channel
For real! He's the most loveable part of this channel
10 seconds in and I’m already giving this a golden up
A former wrestler turned into detective. Add a plucky kid who looked up to him as a sidekick and this is an Apple TV show for two seasons. Call it “Hardest Part of the Ring.”
They investigate only wrestling mysteries.
@@JTawesome92 how was he killed? Wait…there’s blood on the ring apron. Isn’t that the hardest part of the ring????
This is funny but a great ideal
what about having R. Truth be the kid who looked up to detective Simon. :)
@JTawesome92 it could be a reboot of Tag Team (Google it; ventura and piper as wrestling cops) 😅😅😅
Simon you have me shook with this one. You don’t have to do anything to get views, but you come out with this megalith
Thank you sir
"Sherlock" Simon Miller 😂
The lockbox held all of the NDAs that Vince made people sign over the years 😂
100%

That briefcase contained Janel Grants NDA 😂
Honestly I needed this video to get through my morning! Thanks Sherlock Miller!

Must have been the Warrior. He disappeared back to parts unknown for 4 years.
13:24, man, we need a series of matches where cody faces his past gimmicks
This just made me sad because a Firefly Funhouse match with Cody would've ruled SO HARD 😔
@@CthomasMegait all leads to Cody vs bray 😔

After what we learned about Vince McMahon in the last two years, i think we all know what is in the box.
i watched this on my lunch break, and my supervisor came in and she was like "what're you watching?" and basically i put her on wrestling
And thennnnn?

That and the Goldust thing. He came back as that character in the fall of 98 and the GTV stuff started in 99.
@@bsmusic8837 originally gtv was scheduled to debut in 1998 to reintroduce goldust. that's what the "G" stood for.
Simon’s wig bobbling the entire time 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why did the shield not use the free bird rule?
I loved every moment of this!!
Millers on the case
One time my brother and I were joking around and talking about how Brock and Big Show weren’t on tv for awhile, they returned that night.
The lockbox was full of all the pay offs Vince did for his victims.
Shane had Janel Grant's deposition in the lockbox apparently
You are awesome bro
A 1 hour video of Simon miller thank flub
Way to go!!!!

HHH should've been there for the Glacier meeting lol
Did Simon ever solve the mystery of the whereabouts of Shaquille O'Neal? Last I'm aware, he vaporized from the inside of an ambulance.
Really wish it would be posted that it's just a compilation of past videos..

I think that Simon Miller attacked John Moxley
Maybe it was Simon Miller who attacked John Moxley
The lock box probably had the lost footage of Owen's fatal fall. Or vince's little black book given what we know now

IIRC when Vince got blown up, they were going to introduce his kayfabe brother to run things while Vince was off air for a few months.
I mean I hindsight we now know what was in that lock box huh...
I guess Shane finally opened up the lock box and handed it to the lawyers of a former employee,😮😮😮😮😮!!!!

I’ve never noticed that Simon had hair before, looking good king ❤
