The public are sheep. You expect too much from them. Tell the average person your concerns and they will stare at you with a blank look on their face, completely devoid of any recognition, and then they will get angry/defensive.

Heading towards China's Social Credit law. Once it's installed, you can be punished in all sorts of ways for refusing to follow and agree with the narrative put forward by the government. Financial punishments, employment punishments, freedom of movement and travel punishments...the list goes on. The move to a cashless society will be the final nail in the coffin, because once that is combined with a digital ID, all of your freedoms will depend upon the whims of those in power. The Chinese-backed WHO are all for it, as is the WEF, which is probably also in bed with China.
Most idiots in the West fail to understand that what is going on in the West is not "like China" or "like Russia", but "like in the West".
Those are not "communist policies", those are "western policies". Same social credit is not some universal policy in China, it has limited application in a few individual provinces. West already has plenty of their own "social credit" systems in place. This is not something new or "like in China".
And for as long as people continue to project, things will only get worse. When you project your frustration on boogeyman of "communism", you are not addressing real source of the problem.

I pay protection money to the government with every paycheck, every purchase, every year, all the time. Has it once protected me from my own stupidity? NO! And it shouldn't! When i was in high school we had age verification on certain sites where you needed to be 18 to enter. It had s scroll down option to entereyour age. Lets just say i added a few years to be able to enter. It even asked "are you sure". "yes"

Certain words and word combinations are a capital offense on UA-cam. Say the wrong thing or have the wrong words in your comment, even if they're far apart, the bot will delete it.

Every freedom involves a risk. It is the nature of freedom. You can have safety but only at the expense of freedom. There is a reason one of the most secure devices, a large metal box that you lock things away in, is called a 'safe'.
but what is your definition of safe? What is required to keep things safe? How long until the goverment and people disagree on that definition and when will 10 people decide the lives of 10 million? Freedom is a dangerous thing but it is a natural thing, everyone everywhere, cultures unconnected for thousands of years both develop and fight for their freedoms. This makes goverments unnatural by their very nature because of the freedom they restrict, it's why they cling so desprertly to power and do their best to divide, restrict and re-educate. Because if everyone has freedom then it's pointless, but if only they few at the top have freedom, then they have true power, they can do anything and go anywhere. The moment anyone in the world steps out of line to express their own freedom, it takes away their power. Think of it like a safe, so long as the safe remains a safe and does as its told then you and you things are protected, but what if your safe had feelings and thought, what if the door didn't want to be a door anymore, what if the lock wanted to go see the world beyond the walls of the room you've trapped it in? (I would continue but I don't actually know your stance on this, but if you believe safety for freedom is a worthy trade then know this, you'll be locked inside and the inside of a safe is not made for humans.)
