It will either cut off Ignition or fuel supply or both for a split second to unload the transmission and give a smooth shift. Edit: Just did some research on Autoblipper and YES. It does blip the throttle on Ride-by-wire enabled motorcycles as there is no direct mechanical connect between the throttle and the engine. The ECU can independently blip the throttle on downshifts, cut off Ignition/fuel and this works well with the slipper clutch to avoid any harsh back torque.

There's a big problem with this bike. The more you ride it, the more you think you're slow. And when you look at the speedo, you read 200 kph on a curve. @Schaaf : i f you keep the joystick pressed to the right for 3 ou 4 seconds, you will get the "race display" which basically hide the speedo.
@@FloofehMoofin Think of it this way, some car drivers find motorcyclists annoying...we still appreciate when they don't try to run us off the road. Its the same for cyclists, its not hard to just slow down and give them some safe space.

And if a bicycle is a danger for you when you are riding your motorcycle, you are definitely riding wrong and unsafe.
Great video, made as it should be, no music, just engine noise with a proper microphone, love the way you ride man, fast but responsable when needed. You're all so spoiled in Austria with such lovely roads, got to ride 200 kms to reach similar roads from where I live (Flanders Belgium) Thanks for sharing... Luckily you don't always hide your backpack in the same place ;-)

i own a 2017 street triple rs, a friend of mine own a euro 4 tuono factory .. sorry but the 3 cylinder is almost a joke to this v4 sound (and power), only yamahas cp4 engine come close.
Man i cant wait to unleash my tuono when the weather gets better. Buying this bike was still the best decision i have ever made when it comes to motorcycles, it brings joy from the second you start the engine :D
First rode a V4 when Honda launched the VF1000 in the ‘80s and thought it was amazingly smooth. When my Blackbird was in for a service back in the early 2000’s I had the VFR800VTEC for the day and I loved it. When the VTEC came in as the revs rose, I thought that it was the closest a 4stroke would ever get to emulating the power band of a 2stroke. Magic.
Just got my first V4 Tuono .... 2013 ARPC 1000 in yellow/black... GPR pipe .. the sound is addictive and awesome .... and sooooooo quick ... Love the way you ride it ... safe but fast ...
Today we are the 02 april 2020, wich means i'm staying at home. I'm living in Canada, in the province of Quebec and we are in full shut down so it means staying at home. I bought late last year un brand new tuono factory 2018. I was suppose to take delivery of my bike end of March but now dealer is closed, so i have been watching your video taht brings me a lot of joy just thinking all the great rides i am going to do with my bike. also a bit of pain because i have to wait, but it will come soon...i hope. So thank you to help get trough this lollll...and the sound WOW...

Totally agree Schaaf 👍🏼 Had 2 Speed Triples and a blast with them, also good old air-cooled boxer, but since I got my Tuono last year, I‘m so addicted. It’s such an emotional ride and the thunder, every time opening the throttle - never experienced that before, even when I really loved my triples - but this is another level to me... Thx again Schaaf, another vid for my winter depressions 😉
Love my V4. Got my '18 Tuono in March of 2019. Put over 6500 miles on it and just swapped to some Metzeler M7RRs on it. Still 100% stock other than some tank grips because the tank can get slick. Made some amazing memories so far. If you're ever in the US (or live here) some of the most relaxed yet curvy roads are in the Ozarks.
This bike is intoxicating the sounds the power delivery the turn in and the brakes everything is 100% joy. The bike is not perfect but it's like having an easy going supermodel girlfriend that's a good cook and loves motorbikes but sometimes picks her nose.
This is the best sounding bike, along with the RSV4...I'd never tire of listening to that. BTW, my Schaaf t-shirt arrived in the post today - very nice! At the end you picked up some camera equipment you'd stashed in the bushes.
I don't mind the slow bits because it's also good to just cruise around and enjoy the view of the scenery, specially when the scenery is so beautiful. V4 bikes are not common in my country, but we're getting the V4 Panigale soon, if I'm not mistaken. Great video as always!

Even being perched on top it, I felt like Major Kong (Slim Pickens) riding on the H-bomb in Doctor Strangelove. WaaaaaHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! And the sound? Like a never-ending blast effect.
Great Sound, but the Triple still be my favorite. You turn to go again, so in the most cases. Nice that you integrated it to show us the bike at the end. As always a good video Mate 😉👌.
Sadly I went down on my 2016 Tuono in April. I can’t wait to get another one. I’ve ridden a lot of bikes and I have never been on one that feels as good as the Tuono

The best stock sound of a motorcycle is the sound of an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100. Performance wise it's a beast, a superior machine. And it's got the Italian passione!

Jeezus I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad sounding v4 in my life. I had a first gen vmax which sounded bonkers, and then a Vtec VFR which was the meanest sounding slow bike ever. Love that sound.
My 2010 Honda VFR 1200 F (Manual) is the perfect girl for me. Crazy mid range V4 torque. But the Tuono is the bi-polar dime piece stripper I can’t stop dreaming about.
That is because a crossplane Inline 4 has the same firing order as a V4. Though the timings on thr Yamaha are ever so slightly different from that of the Aprilia

The last v4 I rode was a Yamaha vmax, very fast in a straight line but bordering on dangerous in the corners.

I don't miss riding my VFR but l definitely miss the sound ! V4 engines are the best
