You could reprogram the computer, swap out the fuel injection for six carbs, and change the cam profile to get to 8k, but then it wouldn't sound stock anymore.
And if you think your 1800 is significantly quicker than an 1100, bear in mind that the standard GL1100 weighs 595 lbs, 200 lbs less than a 2023 Goldwing. Your 2023 GL1800 has a higher top speed, 140 mph vs 128 for the old dog, but the quarter mile is similar, the GL1100 being 12.47 seconds @ 107.39 and 0-60 mph in 4.2 sec. The 2023 Wing does 0-60 in 3.9 but it needs premium fuel, the old dog does not. I hope to get a GL1800 at some point but I'll keep the old ones around just for the nostalgia.
Is it Switzerland? It's so friggin beautiful! ❤️❤️😍😍
In Switzerland it would have forced him into Bankrupcy without crashing, just by using the throttle as he did. It´s the "Höllental" in Lower-Austria (read the discription as Schaaf said). But you´re right, it´s beautiful. ;)
That symphony... Is so perfect it can make you cry
Thanks
Imagine this beast using a racing exhaust 😍
lol
You sure can hussle that bus!
Thanks Dave
Love my GoldWing! Best handling bike I have ever ridden! Excellent video on counter steering for those that don’t know!
thanks man
Okay, I am a total ignoramus about motorcycles. What is counter steering and where on the video should I be watching? What should I be watching for?
Austrian landscapes are amazing and breathtaking 😇♥️ And I can listening this Goldwing's sound all day long, bro 😜
Thanks Andrey
That Scratch sound is coming from the footpegs? or luggage carrier.
pegs!
I owned few 911, u made me smile today with this. The 6 boxer is always the coolest one. Thank you
Welcome!
Can u camera the bike 1st, and start the engine and ride? 😎
Nah, sounds like work and I'm trying to do this for fun. Thanks for the feedback though
@mm 2417 nah, the right answer. Don't turn your hobbies into your job, they stop being your hobbies and you lose interest in them.
I find it hilarious that this bike has a sports mode, it makes no sense to me...3:25 was that a sporty peg scrape though?
I'd have been scared as shit!
It makes a lot of sense when you ride this level of bike.
Probably the en-suite touching down
Hillclimbfan1990 it makes a a lot of sense for mountain riding! The Goldwing is an incredibly sporty bike.. don’t be fooled by the size and style
The sports mode mainly affects the throttle response and, more importantly, the automatic gearbox
I CAN FEEL THAT I'M RIDING THIS IN FPP MODE..I ADDED THIS IN MY PLAYLIST. IT CALMS ME DOWN WHENEVER I FEEL LONELY. DON'T KNOW WHY YOU TUBE SUGGEST THIS VIDEO, BUT THANKS A LOT FOR THIS "PILOT" AND YOU TUBE FOR THIS VIDEO.. AND MAN, YOU'RE REALLY GREAT. TAKE A BOW DEAR... HAVE A GREAT DAY..
Thanks for the nice comment!
3:26 -$200, 5:32 -$300, 5:47 -$100, 6:08 -$100, 7:35 -$100, 7:50 -$300, 9:14 -$200, 10:28 -$200, 🇯🇵🏁

Dear Schaaf, You don;'t know but u quenched my thirst of a very long time about having to witness this drive. I am a die hard fan of Goldwing, can't have it for it will eat away my kids college. However i pray May Allah reward u with something u never dreamed off.
Amen
Good luck!
But ...
*Can you do a power wheelie on it?!!1*
I reckon thats possible if you stand on the rearr seat rest and have ape arms.

Goldwing = 2 wheeled car
Not at all
@@Schaaf mostly for how the dash looks and it sounds...
Hyperspace jump effect 😅😅
:D
Goldwing was always my favourite motorcycle. It is not going to change.
Nice!
This sound of the engine... beautiful... I couldn't stop watch that clip because of that sound..
Yeah that straight 6 sounds like a late 80's Porsche.
