There is a tsunami of diseases of the brain such as Alzheimer’s, stroke and Parkinson’s disease permeating our culture. In our own communities and families, we all have known at least one person suffering from these illnesses and in many cases seen the fallout first-hand. Lifestyle change is the only answer.

I LOVE the" Fiber Fueled Cookbook." I've tried several of the recipes and every one has been so tasty and filling. I love that the recipes use ingredients which are readily available. Nothing exotic or strange. I'm still reading the book in between trying out the recipes, and so far I am learning so much about my health. I have tried all kinds of eating lifestyles all the way from Carnivore to Keto to......well you name it. I'm always looking for the truth about what my body needs to thrive. Dr Will Bulsiewicz just makes so much sense. I am switching over to Plant Based Whole Foods one meal at a time.

Decades ago, heart disease was managed via 'life on the couch' (don't tax it). Now we know better (to train it instead). And now we see that dietary issues can often be treated in the same 'tough love' manner.

Dr. B is awesome. It's not only the information that he shares, but also his personality, as well as the sumple and persuasive way in which he communicates,. I live in Pretoria (South Africa). Meats were my staple. After being exposed to Dr. B's message, I became vegan. I lost 60 pounds and feel better than ever. Thank you.

A proper ketogenic diet would have also seen you lose weight, did you by chance track how much muscle you lost?

This video is another great one by you and your guest, Dr Bulsiewicz. I do intend to purchase his book, The Fiber Fueled Cook Book. For someone like me who has a strong family history of colon cancer this book will be vitally important. Thanks for informing us about it. :)

Fibre also helps us to sleep better - we sleep more deeply when we increase the amount of fibre we eat. And the incidence of 8 / 10 of the top causes of death in the US increases with poor quality sleep. So I would say that through the connection with sleep, fibre affects 8 /10 of the top causes of death. A very clear, powerful and empowering programme. Thanks.

@ 57:35: The Microbiome and the Brain (A Review by Team Sherzai) YES!!! I am SO looking forward to your review. I hope you'll be able to find the research that explains the connection between apoe4 and gut dysbiosis - and is it actually dysbiosis, or just a different 'ecosystem'? A question for Dr B - (Thank you for writing the FF Cookbook, and creating the powerful GROWTH strategy.) How might colon length affect one's microbiome?

Get a fatty acids test, SIBO too. See Gojimanon YT. . Also you could be a person who is actually intolerant to some beans and not others. Its about 2% population.
