The M635csi would be an amazing car to have! It’s power, looks nice and it’s quite rare too.
That's the best I think too

I would recommend you to lean towards the 2002, sl or the 635csi
635csi was waaaaay overpriced tho, even if it is in good condition it will not be worth restoring unless if you do everything yourself.
@@stekarenhd6911 I mean yes its a bit overpriced for its condition but if the engine, suspension components and transmission run fine its really not a bad deal. Considering the decent ones go over 50k.
Check out the Mot history of the 2002 re corrosion!
Absolutely!!!
635csi great choice. :)
Never thought i'd hear "barn find" in a thick, British accent again.
*I already miss you, Horizon 4*
I'd go with the 300zx. Finding a manual turbo in that good of a shape is really rare. Plus, when gone through mechanically, it should be a relatively trouble free car in comparison to some of the other options. Plus parts are super available.
Man I'd love to see Mat buying the Porsche and taking it to Richard Hammond's classic car restoration workshop
Yes that would be awesome.
Amazing idea
rauh welt
So many things not right with that 911.
Jesus you really are a lovesick fanboy of these berks !! embarrassing
I would definitely own a 635csi, its like one of the best cars bmw has ever produced and its really good to drive
Yeah, and the 2002 it also a worthy add-on.. both are awesome ! ;0)
I'd definitely go for the 300zx. Truly amazing car and a rare manual too. Could become a nice project car
Its so amazing whenever I look at it i feel something sticky.........
I’m genuinely lost for words, seeing some of these hidden gems is why I love cars. Would be so satisfying to see these all restored and detailed.
That 635 CSi looks incredible!
that stick shift 300zx is 🔥🔥🔥
A rowing boat as it's referred to over here.
@@shona5512 My friend is selling his, 1987, manual as well, if anyone interested, in London as well, in Red (welding been done, and fully resprayed couple years back). I have 1986 D reg, which is booked for welding and full respray as well.
had an exhaust
Racional choice is the G wagon with a bit of tlc and updating some body parts and the engine to a OM 606 with diesel pump uk you get an amazing classic that can be used daily.
The split windows Kombi for sure and the 635csi very close second. Good find.
I think BMW 2002 will be Perfect. It’s just too beautiful 😍

The only thing that I don’t like about 635 CSI is it’s AUTOMATIC Gearbox
The 2002 all day long! I had a 1602 when based in Germany as a young soldier and always aspired to the 2002. Houses, wives and kids got in the way! 30+ years later and I’m still hankering for one!
Mat I'm so jealous I recognised every car immediately and that 300zx is the one I wouldmof taken no hesitation followed sharply by the iconic 635csi both of which I had in my twenties back in the day. Incredible collection of cars and I hope they all end up in good hands. Long live the combustion engine
I would go with the 300 or the 2002. MG Migets are fun, I loved the one that I had, but I was constantly working on it. Have fun picking one out.
That MX-5 is a pretty good deal, I'd consider getting that. They're getting expensive now. Also prolly the 300ZX and/or 2002
he has a nb mx-5 already
Yeah i couldn't believe 2 grand, it looks solid & paint should come up lovely 👍
@@bighes100 Body kit hiding rust?
@@flybobbie1449 nope.
The cars are really interesting, but I feel the story behind this warehouse could be even more amazing. Any chance you can elaborate on this?
exactly !! talk about superficial .and vacuous this was a dud of film .. i don't give a shit what his berk wants to buy !! I want the background story and a proper look a the cars by someone who actually knows what he's talking about
The warehouse is getting knocked down by the council hence they all have to go
Yes...exactly. Was it really a 'find' or did the person who owned the warehouse also own the cars??? Who owned the cars and why the heck were they there?
What is the story Matt?

@@sugma6723 LOL you love matt !! ahhh! bless
Really like the red G300. Two door G-wagon. Lots of potential for a cool project.
I had a 1985 BMW M535i when I lived in Germany. It was metallic silver with a black Nappa leather interior. A fabulous car to drive.
300 ZX - bullet proof engine too - last forever if kept well - and it a legend too. Rare manual! wow
That 300ZX is indeed a great car, definitely rare, but if I am not mistaken, it is a (slightly) less desirable 2+2 model. The large rear-side window is a giveaway.
I’d go for the 2002, lovely car, lovely colour. 👍
The Nissan 300 z , it's reliable , it has a manual with a 6 cylinder engine , it's cool it's fun , Mat brother I think you should go for the 300 z
8:24 I'll take that Land Rover Pickup - awesome beast
Hello Mat, I think you should go for the BMW 635sci since such a lovely cruising car. Second choice for me would be the BMW 2002.
As for a house I suggest you should get a house built from scratch with a huge garage outside! For better sound accustics go for a ceiling height of 270 cm instead of the common 240 cm. It will feel roomier too of course, and not so much more space to heat!
The 300zx (z31) Turbo Facelift (V6) is a very rare car. Most were Non turbo's with auto gearboxes.
In the Uk they only sold for a year or two (88/89) I believe before the newer Z32 came out. I had one years ago when I was younger, great cars to drive Matt. It gets my vote.
Had the 300zx turbo manual in the days when 120/140 was doable. Great experience[s]!!
OMG 😳 unbelievable, the cars on show have made me dribble lol 😆 pure classics, covered in dust and not touched in years.. love the old G Wagon at the start 👌
buy the one which deserves to live on. that should be your criteria. love your work man!
If you get your “new” car(s) Mat, I would be more than happy to help you out with a free deep clean and polish! 🤩
That manual Nissan 300zx looks fun!
Head spinning! But out of the ones you particularly pointed out, I think the BMW 2002. Not a TII, obviously, but beautiful! BTW, would love more “Find Me A Classic”.
seen this on fb for years finally a video!
Mat. I'd go for one of the Bimmers. The 2002 looks amazing! The 635CSi looks brilliant and the M535i is awesome!
The M635csi - it is just ultimate coolness, but it seems to need a TON of work, you should think about a repair shop in your new house.
Hi Mat
1. VW camper
2. One of the BMWs your choice
3. The 3000zx
It's Black and White!
Black BMW 635CSi and the White Nissan 300XZ 🏁
There's quite a lot of junk here, good for spares maybe or major restorations. Considering they're in a warehouse they're poorly stored and only a few covered.
Some high mileages may me think many of them were destined for the scrapyard and bought just to be stored or for parts rather than ever used again. Either BMW 2000 or 2002 were the only ones that got me interested, or maybe some of the older Mercs.
(edit - the land that warehouse is on must be easily worth 10 million for redevelopment!)
Yeah, becky evans? And her boyfriend james dean had a bit closer look at some of the more desirable ones and came to a similar conclusion, alot of high milers that were rotten as a pear underneath.
They had early access and never bought anything which says all you need to know for me.
Yet a mini completely rotten floor. Front end completely rotten away. Rust all over the place sold last year at a record braking price. If you noticed a the MGA, even a rotten MGA are 30 plus grand now.
saw a video a few months ago where they went in the other part and it was a restoration workshop and had cars in various states of repair.
I think G-Class looks decent but It would've been nice if that had a Manual. But I think you should consider BMW 2002, Blue Mercedes SL (Looks Gorgeous btw) and a Targa non-Targa 911!
Believe in JESUS today, confess and repent of your sins. No one goes to heaven for doing good but by believing in JESUS who died for our sins. So please do this so you don't go to hell. GOD loves you so much unconditional😘❤🥳
Why would you want a manual in a big boat of a car?
I agree with previous comments. Any of the bmw's would make a great purchase. Especially the 635csi. Thats a beast
VW camper-van all the way. Worth the effort of restoring and you’ll make a tidy profit hopefully!
The little Mercedes 4 x 4 was my fav. Amazing the seller didn't want to try to get a little more money by polishing them all up and detailing them.
Honestly, for the old stuff I'd say one of the Mercs. I think I saw a late 60's SE or C, somewhere in the background; when you showed us the parts section. That would be my pick if it's priced okay.
Spotted a nice fintail bumper in there
Definitely the 2002 , good ones are very sought after , great colour and the auto box is good.
My list for You:
🚘 1. BMW 2002
🚗 2. Nissan 300 zx
🚙 3. Land Rover 1978 - it is my birth year :)
Go for the Z! Manuals aren't as common, and those 300ZXs are fantastic to drive!
2002 hands down for me. Looks clean and will only appreciate in value.
The Austin Champ would be my choice. I bought 2 of these at a government auction in 1968 for £60 each, quite surprised at the estimate for one of these.
1* porsche , you've got to love a naturally aspirated 2.7 targa. Also I believe paid all restorations you might still be in for a profit, targas are pretty rare . 2* the red G , love a good G and that's immaculate. 3* either the land rover or the red BMW
Oh man, a manual 300ZX, that's awesome!
Loving all the content Matt!
From your picks I'd go for the 2002, looks very clean and original. I think you missed the best though, the 500SL with the rubber spoiler. Together with the 420SL they are the rarest and best investments.
That's beautiful, I see the bmw 2002 s all over the place in Brooklyn, very interesting car.
The 635 csi is my dream classic car. Such a good looking car.
8k for a 80s mini which will need restoring, worlds gone mad 😂
Most of the prices Matt quoted are at least twice as much as they're worth.
Yea init some RAH PRICES, BARE EXPENSIVE TINGS
@@saxon-mt5by there’s no way anyone will buy that not so desirable 911 targa that’s been butchered to be an even less desirable soft top convertible. I agree with you, everything seems to be overpriced and the whole lot is nowhere near £1m. Most of these cars aren’t rare or interesting.
Hi Mat, my choice would be def. the M535i!, After that the 635CSI and the VW van T2
The last car in the video which is the BMW 2002 is the right car for you. They have always been one of my favorites from the 1970s.
Damn the Austin Champ looks sick, like a beefed up Willy's, i'd definitely go for that
Nissam 300Zx manual ✨️
The 2002. Plus it’s already right next to the door. 😉
When you looking car in US usually you will go through Copart.
Really good place to get crazy deals in US.
In US you can check car which kind of title have.
Most salvage title or some other cat.D cars(UK) are there in Copart.
I know there is "title washing" throughout states
But if you put VIN number into search engine can find you really nasty surprises if the car came through them.
Was missing it in Copart UK.
Car vertical is something similar to that but depends on search engine
I’m guessing the original owner of this collection has passed away and the beneficiary is overwhelmed and just wants to get rid.

Owner still around but is losing the storage facility as the landlord / council want it back.
9:29 have a closer look at that red W124, those are solid. Otherwise the BMW 635
spot-on selection Marky...stick with the 2002!
I'm partial to MGs and Triumphs, so I would go for the Midgets and that MG A I think I saw, or any Healey models, Sprites specifically. Older the better. That way, you can buy four or five for what you'll spend on the one BMW or that 300zx
I think the very last BMW , it's going to look mega once cleaned and mechanics sorted .
If video games have taught me anything, rare old cars in a barn on someone's property are always free.
That bronze westfalia camper is cool! Behind the Land Rover
I always liked the old Beemers. They didn't have the loathing that modern ones get due to the way they're driven - yes I know how responsive they are and that's why people have them. The 635CSi is a beauty and worth the £17k but I think you like that 2002 more.......
Go for the 2002 !
7:24 I think you'll find that's a VG30ET V6 Turbo rather than a straight 6 unless the previous owner dropped an RB in it...
Could it be it's the 200zr with the rb20?
1975 or so, were 10x that many in a sale in Detroit area... All stuff from the teens-30's... but this is still pretty cool ;)
Mat, you need the smallest cog to help you with this. This is perfect. Give Hamster a quick call!!
The M635CSI would be a good car to own at such time , it looks phenomenal ❤️
Such a shame it is an automatic though. Still, it might be possible to drop a manual box into it (at some considerable expense no doubt) but it would be worth it as it is a driver's car.
@@johnrandall125 I definitely agree. A manual would make it a far more better car.
Nissan 300z is most valuable car that you could find there. I think it's more profitable in the future
I will be a douche who says it actually has a V6, not a straight 6 :)
The 2002 definitely! It is in amazing condition!
I would grab a few of the MGB's and the MGA. There was also a MG T series there too. The 911 looks like a 30,000 big ones resto. The 2002 may be OK. But the prices are top money for cars that are not top. I would offer 15% less than the asking price and walk away if the seller doesn't budge. The BMW 635 is tempting, but there is a lot of work to be done and there is a lot of unknowns. Some of the VW Kombi's are valuable but again, a lot of time and money to get them to a saleable condition.
That mx5 could be a bargain at that price, if it’s solid underneath!
He's already got one, but can you ever have too many mx-5s? 🤔
love from Kenya 🙏
If all the cars would have anti- bird-poop- covers on them then would be alot more sellable :) This is a strange collection, like somebody collected alot of possible restoration project and stored them there...
The last BMW looks very nice 👍🏼 my pick of the bunch 🚘
BMW no question
I think that you must choose the csl, and second the sl's. these cars in my opinion hold more value and in future they will inflate their value
Definitely the BMW 2002. Best car ever...would prefer A tii and a roundie, but that car looks solid!
Your 2002 choice is quite smart but that 635 is a real head turner IMO 🤘🏻
635csi all day long!
That’s the right choice
I am on the look out for a defender pick up....always loved the dual cab tomb raider limited edition
Merc SL definitely! As well BMW2002 (perhaps! Interior raises some questions though.)
The "barn" itself is surely worth significantly more being in north London. The cars pale in comparison to the price of that land :p The whole thing seems a bit sus. The tyres on the cars are still inflated too. Doesn't look like they've been sitting still long.
Definitely not "the most amazing barnfind in the world ever". It's not even a 1/50th of Roger Baillon collection.
Hey Matt. This place has been open for a while now and me friends and I visited, offered and was unable to buy.. have they sorted the buying process now !!!🤔
*Mat*
I think I may have spotted a mercedes slc but I may be wrong. I am actually trying to get a hold on one myself in my country. If it is the 5.0 or 500 engine, I think u can get an even better deal than the SLs and I believe they will go up in value way more in time because they were homologated models. But that is just my opinion. Either way whatever you pick seems like a good choice. Anyway I wish you all the luck. Cheers
I saw the 635CSi in the wide shot and hoped you'd pick it out Matt. That or the M535i from the era and I would be happy.
The G would be awesome, and you could probably retro fit a leather interior inside of it from a newer one since its the same generation until 2019 I think, and maybe manual swap it too!
