🤔 Are you trying to fix a pelvic tilt that might not even be there? Many attempt to correct what they perceive as a pelvic tilt, often exacerbating lower back pain by imposing unnecessary posterior pelvic tilts.
    🔍 Understanding Pelvic Tilt:
A common misconception is that a visible gap between the lower back and the floor while lying down indicates an abnormal pelvic tilt. However, this gap is a normal part of a healthy lumbar spine curvature.
Your pelvis should naturally tilt to support proper spinal alignment and effective weight distribution.
    🚫 The Problem with Over-Correction:
Excessive focus on correcting a pelvic tilt through exercises like pelvic tucks can actually flatten the lumbar curve, leading to increased pressure on the spine and potential pain.
    📏 Measuring Pelvic Tilt:
The best way to accurately assess pelvic tilt is through load-bearing X-rays, not just physical examination. Many find they don’t have the pelvic tilt they thought they did, or they might even have a backward tilt.
🛠️ *Proper Ways to Address Pelvic Tilt:
    Posture Fix Using a Wall:
Utilize simple movements against a wall to understand and improve how to hold your body correctly, without involving pelvic tilts.
    Hip Mobility Routines:
Engage in balanced, back-friendly stretching to maintain normal hip mobility, which supports the lower back.
    Strengthen Your Posture:
Focus on strengthening the lower back, core, and hips to support and stabilize your lower back, reducing the risk of pain.

I have recently found your channel and I am so happy that I did. You explain things in very precise and informative detail. I have been seeing chiropractors on and off for 50 years and have never been given half as much information as you do on these videos. Thank you so much.

If when standing, you can only anterioriorly tilt your pelvis the slightest bit futher or not any further at all, would that be a sign that you have anterior pelvic tilt?

That could be a number of issues most likely not really anything to do with the resting position of the pelvis

What would be some of the things I should be looking at if that’s the case? I understand you can’t give specifics without seeing me but I’d appreciate if you could just give a few things I should be looking for

@@SM-lo3yd AS we say in the video and other ones, focus on stability rather than trying to change alingments such as pelvic tilt - check out the masterclass on our channel homepage - a good starting point: ua-cam.com/video/QIYFt7qQbJw/v-deo.html
