Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Vader The Slave? I thought not. It’s not a story the Sith would tell you. It’s a Jedi legend. Darth Vader was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so weak and so dumb he couldn't even use the Force to destroy life. He had so little knowledge of the Dark Side that he couldn't even kill the one he hated the most. The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He never became so powerful as his Master, and the only thing he was afraid of was losing his temper, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, his Master taught him a lesson, and he knew, if he ever steps out of line again, that his Master will kill him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from his Master, but not himself.
In the 2017 comics (which this is clearly based on), Darth Vader actually overpowers Palpatine with the Force, slamming him into a wall and pinning him there. Palpatine even pushes back with the Force, but can't release himself, Vader's grip is unrelenting, he's overpowering him. Palpatine has to use his lying snake tongue to convince Vader to release him. Vader submits because he knows Palpatine is all he has left. Then Palpatine uses Force lightning when Vader has let his guard down, which his suit is weak against. Afterwards, Palpatine immediately puts a lightsaber at Vader's neck whilst reminding him of his trauma, more psychological manipulation. The scene in a comic was a showcase of how Vader is actually more powerful then Palpatine in terms of raw Force power, but Palpatine uses psychological manipulation and a type advantage to keep him in-line. It allows Vader to remain terrifying, powerful, and have agency as a villain whilst still retaining Palpatine's position as a master manipulator. This has lost all of the nuance of the original confrontation.
That comic has it all wrong and should be stripped. Palpatine is way more powerful than any of them. Vader would not have been able to do that to Palpatine at all. @LordVaderTyrannus well, my dear Lord, I think you missed the part about me having studied about everything ever written on our dear Emperor. Palpatine was not simply born. He was created by the dark side of the force. He was born of and through the dark side. This allowed his intellectual growth as a small child to far surpass anyone in any schooling he ever attended. He spent much of his formative years searching the galaxy for every single holocron, scroll, text, book, statuary, light saber, and anything else he could lay his hands upon. By the time he was a young man, he murdered his parents and siblings. This brought the attention of Darth Plagues upon Young Sheev Palpatine. Well you know what happens between this point and the point of Revenge of The Sith. It was after Revenge that he let the Imperial government, and Senate basically run the Empire in his name. This would include, the Senate, the Military High Command, COMPNOR, Imperial Intelligence and Lord Vader. The Emperor spent many many hours in meditation, extracting Sith knowledge from ancient holocrons, writing his Books, he traveled to the Ancient Sith Temple world of Korriband and using a combination of his Sith powers and Sith Magic he acquired from the witches, he was able to force the long dead Sith Lords buried in their tombs to surrender all of their powers and knowledge to him, increasing his powers immensely. LordVaderTyrannus, the fight scene from Revenge between Palpatine and Mace was much intense that what the movie showed. In the actual novel of the movie, it states that when Anakin arrived and saw them fighting, all he saw was Mace fighting a dark greyishblack blur, something moving so fast that he could not even tell that it was actually Palpatine. When asked about this fight, three people actually said that Palpatine beat the hell out of Mace, and that he only threw the fight at the very end so Anakin could see that Mace was trying to kill him, and that anakin needed to CHOOSE for himself to save Palpatine. First you have the man that choreographed the fight for Mace and Palpatine. It's funny how the Emperors face changes in almost every scene here. Look especially when Vader rises from the floor. But I like how the Emperor talks and how he walks away - walking unusually fast for being him. I like his ghostlike voice in some scenes here.
DAMN!!!... this was a great scene. Vader told the Emperor "you have failed me" in which the Emporer responded "you have failed yourself" in which Vader attacks him. The Emporer then jacked up Vader six ways till Tuesday, showing him who's the badass here and warned him if he attacks him again he'll destroy him...😳😳😳
This pretty much actually happened. I'm pretty sure in the novelisation, when Vader shouted "NOO!" and destroyed the whole room, he force pushed palpatine against a wall and tried to kill him, but palpatine struck him with force lightning
This scene would be a good way to tell the people watching that Vader's suit is weak against the emperor's lighting and it was done purposely by the emperor to keep vader in check. So Vader while in this suit can never hope to defeat Sidious.
Why didnt Anakin ever seek to improve his suit like i know he was good with mechanical knowledge like how he was with droids so why didnt he try to improve his suit that clearly hindered him i also know the suit was painful and uncomfortable which fueled his power but still it was obviously a suit with many purposeful design flaws
Vader does actually throw Palpatine into the wall via his force grip n force choke, but palapatine was “stronger” after Anakin burned n Palpatine hadn’t shown Anakin how to use force lightning let alone show him how to defend himself from force lightning…it wasn’t till the end of Episode 6 that all this make even more sense. Vader then finally realized that in order to kill Sidious, he would have to die too, even if it’s in the act of saving his son…that’s what the true definition of a Jedi is, is give your life to help someone else’s no matter who they are n that was the epitome of Anakin. It was only till Palpatine made it clear to Anakin where the Jedi values lay at…
Great addition. Although I'm wondering if the word "slave" would be too overly clear, and provocative for Anakin. I think Palpatine would be more crafty than to use that term. Perhaps he could have said, "You are still my most powerful weapon (or tool)." Palpatine already made his point clear and Vader was such a prominent server for so long under Palpatine after this. That would also explain why he felt he had to outshine the Deathstar in A New Hope. "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force" to assure himself.
This is great and all, and i know its based of the comic books. However i prefer the novalization, that i look at as the true star wars. In the end monologue he certainly thinks about going for palpatine, however in that moment realizes hes not only the only person he has, but he doesn't really want to attack because he thinks he is all that is left to understand him. There is no putting him in his place by palpatine
Yeah I prefer the Legends version as well. But unlike in Canon, the novek also states Vader couldn’t touch Sidious even if he wanted to. He wasn’t weak, but he was far weaker than before his injurues and Sidious at that point is leaps above him.
A scene like this in the actual film would have so much further completed Anakin / Vader's character arc. He should have been pushed to the brink of death again by Palpatine and put back on the operating table just as a point of knowing his place. Something like that would have given some real gravity to his line to Luke in ROTJ that he must obey his master. Further it would show his concern for Luke and his well being and make his sacrifice all the more impactful. A man can dream, I'm glad with what we got anyway. For all the flak the prequels got they were original in their own right and had the story of Anakin's fall and Palpatine's rise to tell. Something Disney knows nothing about.
I love Star Wars as much as the next guy and this added scene is very creative. The only piece I don't agree on is Vader losing to his father Palpatine so quickly. Vader/Anakin is extremely powerful as all Star Wars fans know, so I think it makes sense that Vader should put up more of a fight than was depicted here. After all, he's the one who killed Count Dooku.
I wasn't sure if Vader was going to choke Palpatine or punch him. But it was entertaining to watch. I wish there could be an alternate timeline where Vader succeeds in killing Palpatine in this moment to appease his own anger. But I noticed that this scene resembles that which was shown in the comics.
If this was added into Ep 3, I think it would make Vader seem less menacing and less loyal...more of a pitiful animal waiting for an opportunity to escape at first chance. Vader, as originally depicted, is better as a manipulated apprentice who made bad choices...we the audience know, but Vader does not.
This shows that Vader is not his apprentice, but rather his slave after he tried to fight back. That’s why he was afraid of him and that’s why he secretly hates him for what he did to himself.
It aint no secret, Palpatine knew vader hated every part of him & used that to his advantage
I guess if the Emporer jacks me up six ways till Tuesday then called me weak and that I will be a slave for the rest of my life I'll be little hateful and angry towards him....🤣🤣🤣

It was only till Palpatine made it clear to Anakin where the Jedi values lay at…
Amazing
I used to think this scene from the Vader comics would look corny in live action but this changed my mind ❤
Anakin is always blame-deflecting.
Exactly that's Anakin the hypocrite for you.
@@FriendlyBatDoom
Exactly 🤣✅
As he should
Great addition.
Now this, THIIIS is great use of AI!!! Fucking awesome dude!
Now this is Perfection For a Deleted Cut.
More I love this
Every Sith apprentice is his or her slave. There can only be two. A Master and an Apprentice.
Oh so thats why he made that costume for vader smart
This is cool. Now I want to see it added to the original haha. Imagine an extended cut of the film 👀
That was better than all 3 of the last movies.
based on a true story
Haters will say its fake
Wow! Amazing
The whole sequel trilogy is utter garbage in comparison with this. Well done!!!
Palpatine talks too much, he shouldn’t have been resurrected in the sequels as he died in that precipice by Vader’s hand.
We should've gotten this instead of, "NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
I love Star Wars as much as the next guy and this added scene is very creative. The only piece I don't agree on is Vader losing to his father Palpatine so quickly. Vader/Anakin is extremely powerful as all Star Wars fans know, so I think it makes sense that Vader should put up more of a fight than was depicted here. After all, he's the one who killed Count Dooku.
Very Good!
Apart from the AI, This is perfect
I wasn't sure if Vader was going to choke Palpatine or punch him. But it was entertaining to watch. I wish there could be an alternate timeline where Vader succeeds in killing Palpatine in this moment to appease his own anger. But I noticed that this scene resembles that which was shown in the comics.
AI is getting more dangerous
We can all agree this should have been in the movie. It would have made even more sense in return of the jedi.
Good 💪👍💀
That’s pretty good🍻
They shouldn't added that in Star wars episode 3 revenge of the sith the filmmakers.
This is amazing! 🎉
This did happen in the comics but vader forced pushed palpatine out of anger and got electrocuted
He’s gonna need help after pooping himself.
If you touch me with the force again..
You should make one of vader and starkiller confronting palpatine and killing him
Vaders armor was letteraly made into a conductor. So this could have happened.
This is how he died
This would have been awesome in rots
If this was added into Ep 3, I think it would make Vader seem less menacing and less loyal...more of a pitiful animal waiting for an opportunity to escape at first chance. Vader, as originally depicted, is better as a manipulated apprentice who made bad choices...we the audience know, but Vader does not.
Agree
Who is the soundtrack by?
If only Anakin knew his son and daughter are alive and safe
