Yeah, I've said for many years that Chris had what I call a "Freddie Mercury Voice", because like Freddie, Chris's natural talent was to an extreme that would guarantee he would've been wildly successful no matter what musical genre he ventured into.
C.C. Is a legend. He became famous with his first band Soundgarden. He did a one off album in tribute to a friend from another band who had died of an overdose. The band was called Temple of the Dog, and they do a song called Say Hello 2 Heaven. It is a vocal triumph. You need to hear it. Of course C.C. has many legendary hits and tracks from his first band, TofD, Audioslave, and his solo material, but that is the one track out of all of that in which I would suggest first.
That’s the one and only Chris Cornell. Soundgarden was his band, more well known and lots of hits. Audioslave was him with the rest of Rage Against the Machine minus their original lead singer. Chris is always on the top lists of best rock vocalists. Amazing songwriter too. For his real vocal abilities try When I’m Down live at the Troubadour. Chills guaranteed 🙂 He also had a one album band called Temple of the Dog and many solo songs and movie soundtrack songs!
@@kailamay2278 would you please do the song from Audioslave called Cochise the official music video. There is such passion voice of Chris Cornell and in the middle of the song he lets out a passionate screen that absolutely touches the soul.
Is that band sound garden is the Grunge band from seattle Washington like Nirvana, alice in chain, mud honey or beatles right,,bro? CORRECT Me if i Wrong?,,Chris Cornell is from sound Garden..... I've Heard the song from sound Garden for me is a good song the title is Fell On Black Days
Now you need to react to Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog. Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell do a duet on this song and it's just amazing. Temple of the Dog was a supergroup formed by the bands Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. Until then, Eddie Vedder was unknown to everyone and was Chris Cornell's "godson" and lived in Chris' house. Also, the band Pearl Jam was created after this Temple of the Dog project.
It wasn't a supergroup, Pearl Jam didn't really exist at the time. They were songs that Chris wrote for Andy Wood. That whole album is BEAUTIFUL. And please, don't forget those songs were inspired by the late, great, Andy Wood. Mother Love Bone
Eddie Vedder happened to be a guy in the studio that day( having recently started jamming with Stone and Jeff) and he suggested singing the low part while Chris concentrated on the higher part (goin' hungry!)
Oh my frkn God you're so beautiful! Yeah this was a supergroup made by Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) and the guys from Rage Against The Machine, once again RIP Chris Cornell✞. Remember our body is corrupted but our soul is immortal. Take it easy . Cheers!
No they say that's Chris Cornell...no one sings like him! Soundgarden or audioslave or temple of the dog all his bands....he killed the vocals 🔥...and his solo stuff too.
Best song ever! Great band, and Cornell had a great voice! His covers r great, should check out his covers of Nothing compares to u by Sinead O'Connor, or Billie Jean originally by Michael Jackson they're both better than the originals imo
Awesome stuff, Love you and your channel. You're honestly my favorite content creator now and I appreciate these Rock/Metal reactions... You just gained a new subscriber❤💯.
After you hear all of his amazing hits with AudioSlave and Soundgarden....he did a great cover of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean....You will really get a good taste of his vocals and soul in that one. So good.
Yo , Kal! Great reaction! As far as other songs to react to...how about Cake? check out "I will survive", "Friend is a four letter word", "No phone", " Short skirt/long jacket", among others. TRUST ME! TRY IT! ❤
Great song for sure! Hard to suggest a reaction video when I don't know what you typically listen too. Better reaction if you never heard it b4 right? I see you have some Seattle grunge stuff from the 90s. I know alot of great stuff from that decade, but lots of other stuff aswel.... I guess what I'm trying to say is; what don't you know?
He's so missed, such an amazing singer and artist. Fun fact, I never knew until recently that all the other members were rage against the machine minus zack.
Hi Kai Lamay. Greatings from Portugal. You should react to Temple of the Dog, song "Hunger strike". I know that you will love it. The lead singer is the same, Chris Cornell of Audioslave. And guess?!... a special guest that u like a lot: Eddie Vedder. Try, and enjoy it!!!
First, Chris Cornell was arguably one of the best rock vocalists ever! Only names like Freddy Mercury and Steven Tyler come to mind when I think of Chris. But then you have Tim, Brad, and Tom from RATM! Tom Morello is possibly one of the most innovative rock guitarists since Jimi Hendrix or Eddie Van Halen! However, Brad and Tim (drums & bass) are the unsung heroes! They lay so far back on the beat, they establish such a solid foundation that makes the lead vox and guitar seem even better!
Hi again Kai. Thanks for your kind reply, but I’m totally confused. You said you’d seen some of Amira’s performances & her talent was “ off the charts “ & you previously said she has “serious pipes “, but you have not done a single reaction. The inference in your reply was that you don’t get enough requests to warrant a reaction. I can understand that to some extent, but being a Soprano she obviously doesn’t get the requests of those artists with a more popular music genre. You are not alone using this format, but other Reactors, also with a reluctance , who finally did react to Amira, continued reacting to follow her amazing journey & were so glad they did. Amira has literally millions of fans worldwide, & I’m sure your subscription base would increase should you give her a go. Try “ Nella Fantasia” when Amira was a mere 12 years old. You really won’t be disappointed. Cheers. Graeme.

Hi again Kai. Just wondering if you’re ever going to react to a young Soprano by the name of Amira Willighagen, as I’ve given you performance details on a couple of occasions, & you responded in the affirmative, so I was expecting a reaction by now. I was impressed with your reaction style & subscribed to your Chanel ( some months ago ) & would appreciate your advise as to your intentions, as I won’t bother you if your not interested. Cheers. Hi Graeme, I appreciate your support and suggestion. I've been relying on recommendations that I get in comments to find new awesome music. I did watch a few performances by Amira Willinghagen and her talent is off the charts!! Thanks again
@@kailamay2278 check out Fell On Black Days. But there’s so many good ones! I had the amazing honour of seeing him perform just a fortnight before he passed. I’ll never forget it, out of all the times I’d seen him perform live, it was the most energised, lively I had seen him. It’s spooky to think back, almost like he was at ease with what was coming next. Makes me sad! Jon is right, Audioslave was this amazing supergroup of musicians coming together. They made incredible music, but it was a sideshow to Rage Against the Machine & Soundgarden

Why do I look like Chris Cornell but with a little longer hair am Norwegian damn it, am not Greek, i play guitar, okey i sing a little ,but am still not Greek damn it, I wanna look like Kurt or Jerry or young Eddie

Never a huge fan of them but chris could sing his heart out respects rip chris no doubt
Audioslave was Chris Cornell's best band imho. These 3 brilliant kickass musicians gave his songs the most exciting sound environment.
I mean I love Audioslave but Soundgarden dig deep into their libary not just songs they play on the radio it will change your life.
One of the best leas singers ever!
The guitarist here is Tom Morello, who is also in Rage Against the Machine.
Yeah a great guitarist but a true piece of trash politically
It's crazy how many bands these guys were part of

Without a doubt!! Cochise for the other end of the spectrum.
